... more>> I came across this gem somehow and I was instantly hooked from the first chapter. It's so rare to find a good fantasy novel without the cliched elements that makes up the thousands of slop novels in this site - especially with excellent translation, great story telling and grounded characters.

MC is a modern science youtuber who gets transmigrated into a fantasy romance novel world which is really backward in scientific principles. With the help of an amazing elf teacher, the first arc involves him challenging the geocentric theory prevalent in the world and how it affects the inhabitants in a macro and micro level.

My predecessor mentions how fast the world accepts his theory is unnatural but forgets that it is a class based world and his stature along with the endorsement of his teacher (who also has a high standing) gives significant amount of credence to his theory. Even so there are people who are skeptical and people were already aware of the drawbacks of the currently existing theory.

I am not sure why the translator skipped the cute cover art, but I added it (awaiting approval but w/e). The story telling is fast paced and entertaining, the characters are memorable and the translation is pretty good. Highly recommended 9.8/10

Interesting. But in some ways very weird. The author acknowledges that the theory of geocentrism is widely believed to be the truth of the world.

Many scholars would have spent their entire lives working on it and refining it. The notion that a child proposes a new theory and it's accepted within a day by a scholar and then within like a week by the entire world is nonsensical. Scholars/scientists have their own pride and stubbornness. The idea that a foundational theory of how the world works could be changed entirely... more>> within a week is utterly s*upid.

Even a scholar with a curious or open mind would spends months poring over it, trying to find things that contradict it. It could easily take years or decades to gain broad acceptance. One week isn't close to enough for any serious scholar to consider such a theory and attempt to find contradictions or flaws.

I'll repeat, even if the MC knows all the answers, the idea that the world's scientific community will give up trying to find flaws in his theories and accept it within a week is silly.
