This is a decent read with kinda cliché plot with typical playboy CEO ML who fell so hard to an "ordinary" FL and chased her.

Tbh, I usually hates FLs who playing hard to get... but not this time lol, ML deserves chasing her down.

For context, Su Hao (FL) was recently divorced and came to city to work and start new life. Both leads' mothers were friends so Zhao Yang (ML) helped her find job and apartment. Years ago, FL was inlove with him but only one-sided as ML was playboy.... more>> Due to series of failures in relationship, FL became calm, detached and nonchalant esp emotionally which made it hard for ML when fell hard to him.

For pros, I like FL's attitude making ML looked miserable in chasing her lol. He actually deserved it due to his playboy personality. I actually liked the development of their relationship and some realizations.

He suddenly understood that the person who loves more gives more, and the one who is loved feels more secure.

As a man, what was he afraid of by loving more? He was only afraid of not loving enough and not being able to give her security.

Plus points were ML's friends who making story more comedic. I think some of them got their own novel as "kneeling guys squad" hahaha

For con, I just find ML too much sometimes esp when he used power-tripping to others bc he's just simply jealous (face palm) <<less

First of all, MC is a divorcee. But what surprised me more is ML's mom still try to connect her with ML. Like u don't see s like this in east culture. Not even in novel culture. So that's kinda refreshing. Basically, MC just chose and got married with someone who could get along well with her after giving up chasing ML in her early years. After that, she's learned to grow into a different person. Nothing really matters anymore and focus on herself. Delulu ML couldn't accept that & goes after her and MC didn't make it easy at all, as she should. She learned from her past experiences, and she carries herself with grace. I really like the MC here. And ML didn't fall short later as well. This is not an innocent love story. Not typically what I go for, but it's refreshing to see something like this. They deserve their HE also.

AHHHH such a good read, the wife chasing was so on point, despite it being a bit tedious at times. I love how he went from this devil-may-care playboy to a whipped partner, the roles reversed. Loved how he kneels when he pisses her off, and how he was the one yearning for marriage and pregnancy to tie her down.

It’s a chasing wife to the crematorium story and it’s erring more on the mature side as both leads have a past and baggages. I honestly liked how the FL dealt with everything coming her way. She is an ideal FL. The ML is the Don Juan turning devoted. Although the novel gives a low digit of official ex, it feels his body count is definitely in the 2 or 3 digits.
