The story is about a guy who gets love letters from his future harem members which give him clues about what he needs to do to prevent the end of the world.

Like many harems, this one is sustained by a dense protagonist, but here his denseness makes sense. He's not some supposed genius who becomes dumb only when it comes to romance. He's just an idiot, but in a fun way. He's a musclehead who's good at combat but not much else. He knows he's not the smartest guy around,... more>> so he solves all of his problems with violence. It's quite refreshing in that sense, and also results in some really humorous situations. This story isn't high art by any means. But the action sequences are great, the plot is decent, and there's a lot of comedy. <<less

Too Good to pass 5/5.

The novel in short is about Ian's program for a rehabilitation center, promising results with a bit of blood.

Also, the author likes the saintess a bit too much, she is the only character who is not subjected to Ian's special treatment.

Hello there,

it narrates the story of a man who one day receives a letter from the future which appears to come from a future lover. The letter basically mentions events of the future and the protagnist acts accordingly to avoid a future disaster.

The premise of the story is interesting and the execution is done well; characters feel coherent as so does the world the story transpires. Not to mention there really good fighting scenes which are really well written. Also, the translator is extraordinay.

I feel it deserves a 4,... more>> if being honest, but since I have enjoyed quite a lot for its execution and originallity I will give it a 5/5. <<less

When I first started reading the novel, I was sceptical of the progression at the start, but I braced through the first few chapters, and now, with full confidence, I can say that this was the right choice since the later chapters are just a blast to read. And I don't really want to put on any details since I don't want to spoil it for anybody reading since its its best to read and experience the epicn moments yourself.

I'm not quite sure, but it seems there has been a... more>> previous translation before with all the chapters since the original KR seems to have been completed, so I wanted to ask the readers who've already finished this novel about a few things.

One thing that's been bordering me ever since the introduction of the harem dynamic was the potential loss of a love interest due to the protagonist's denseness. And from what I've read of the future Ian, he seems to be cold hearted and ruthless, making me assume that in the previous timeline, he didn't give much importance to the love interests.

So my question is, in this current timeline, does he get together with all the love interests, for example, Celine, Saintess.

But yeah, going bac to my review, I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who's a fan of action and harem stories based on an Academy setting, and compared to the current translator's other works, this stands above the rest for me.

If you enjoy cat fights and drama between love interests, and enjoy a badass protagonist who's also kind hearted and fun to follow, then yes, this novel is for you.

The novel's biggest strength is the relationship between the characters. For me at least, that's what keeps me waiting for the next chapter.

Thank you for reading this if you've read this far, and to any of the veteran readers who've read this, pls give me a brief confirmation as to whether he gets together with the love interests. <<less

I think love letter from the future is a great novel with a very interesting setting. I personally really enjoy novels with an academy setting and the character dynamics are very enjoyable. The novel is harem, one of my favorite genres. The main character Ian is really dense, but thankfully it isn't as dreadful for me to follow along with as the typical Japanese main characters in romcoms. The world-building is very well-done.

I think the waifus in the novel are very cute.

The action scenes are top tier and are the... more>> best aspect of this novel. <<less

I have to say this first. Im not likening this novel.

I seen the dense tag but I assumed it was for dense in the sense of love. Not dense as in he's thoughtless. Who in their right mind has so many unexpected and unexplainable things happening and just goes on like nothing is wrong.

who would get a letter and not able to comprehend it in which you only have 2 friends, would ever just totally disregard it. Even a Japanese protagonist who got a letter in a shoe box would... more>> at least show up and be curious. It's beyond dense. The protagonist is s*upid.

and worse of all he's self loathing over a preventable situation. You're just s*upid, not deserving to be soothed for that pathetic effort. I'm seriously debating on dropping as is. Too much filler and flowery words to expand the chapter, it reads so long for the amount of progression. Then he's an idiot.

On the fence right now.

if you see more then I didn't give up, or not..

it's explainable. I read comments about how he beat females and was like meh. But if the MC is such tr*sh, and gives low effort no reward type personality vibes and on top of that will wallow in self pity I'd rather he beat woman and at least put the effort.

nope. Done, not even past the next chapter past where he seriously did the worst thing he could have done, he asks how to seduce a woman. Done. I can't get along with this novel. Isn't my thing <<less

After reading over 600 chapters of Love Letter From The Future, I can confidently say this novel is a solid 9/10 and one of the best in its genre.

The story starts with Ian Percus, a seemingly ordinary noble's son who begins receiving mysterious letters from the future. But as the layers unfold, it's revealed that Ian's true identity is nothing short of mind-blowing.

Spoiler

He is the head of the Seven Deadly Sins, a being born from the twisted ideas of madmen, a hybrid monster named 'Pride', a being who dreamed of being equal to the gods. This revelation is a game-changer.

[collapse]

Ian's future self, is even more fascinating. This version of Ian is emotionless and broken, a person who sacrificed everything and lost everything in his attempt to save the world. Watching him transform into this cold, calculating force is both tragic and compelling. It adds such depth to his character, and the emotional toll it takes on him is gut-wrenching.

The plot is packed with betrayals, tragic events, and constant twists. The stakes are always high, and just when you think you understand where it's going, something shocking happens. The pain and sacrifice feel so real, and it really makes you invest in every character and every plot point.

The heroines are more than just love interests; they grow and develop alongside Ian, becoming stronger and more independent as the story progresses. The power-ups they receive feel earned, and they become key players in the narrative. While the harem dynamics can add some tension and drama, it doesn't overshadow the core story and even adds interesting layers to the relationships.

That said, there are a few areas where the novel could improve. Some arcs feel slower than they should be, but none of these flaws take away from the fact that the overall story is truly remarkable.

Love Letter From The Future is one of those rare novels that leaves a lasting impression. It's not a perfect 10/10 for me, but it's definitely a 9/10 and easily one of the best in its genre. If you love complex characters, dark twists, emotional rollercoasters, and gripping world-building, this is a must-read. <<less

I really like the way Author potrait the battle scene, quite like how the plot is going, but I really hate how Author make MC super duper ultra dense when it's come to his relationship with the heroines and at the same time makes MC quite smart in battle.

MC's denseness is more dense than any JP MC I've read till now.

If you read this story for the plot, you will quite like it. This series quite well-written and well-translated.

... more>> But if you read it looking for some romance, DON'T.

No matter what heroines do, MC will not get any of it. Even when the heroines offer their bodies (Some touchy" not the accident one, the intentional & consentual one).

From what I read, MC grown in quite normal and social life, but how tf he didn't thought that heroines love him unless they confess & say it to his face.

Dude, the heroines literally put their all and ignore all consequence just for you! <<less

Love Letter From The Future follows Ian Percus, an ordinary student who finds his life upended when he receives an ominous letter from his future self, warning of a desolate world on the verge of ruin. What starts as skepticism soon turns to grim acceptance as events unfold exactly as foretold, thrusting Ian into a desperate struggle to rewrite the tragic future.

The story's premise of receiving intel from one's future self is a creative twist on the typical time travel/regression tropes. It adds an intriguing layer of uncertainty - can... more>> the future truly be altered or is it an immutable path? Ian's inner conflict as he grapples with this dilemma and the weighty responsibility thrust upon him is well-portrayed.

Where the novel truly shines is in its masterfully crafted action sequences. The fight scenes are visceral and cinematic, with Ian frequently the underdog against stronger foes. Yet his tenacity and willpower spur him to fight with everything he has, even if it means sacrificing parts of himself for a vital strike. These battles are not just mindless brawls, but turning points that further Ian's character growth.

The romance and harem aspects are also a strength. The heroines are well-developed characters who gradually grow closer to Ian through shared struggles, not just blind devotion. Their relationships feel organic and drive key narrative arcs. Some may be put off by the polygamy elements, but it is an integral part of the story's themes about defying predestined fates.

If the novel has a weakness, it lies in Ian's sporadic bouts of denseness regarding the heroines' feelings toward him. While somewhat justified by his laser-focused drive to prevent the apocalypse, these moments can be frustrating for readers heavily invested in the romantic subplots. But such periods are temporary diversions in an otherwise engrossing narrative.

With its bold premise, intense action, and well-crafted romance, Love Letter From The Future is a stellar novel for fans of fantasy, harem, and stories centered on protagonists determined to defy fate through sheer force of will. Highly recommended for those able to look past the occasional lapse in emotional awareness. <<less

Love Letter From The Future is a story you either hate or you love. The action scenes are a standout feature of this novel, with well-written and immersive fight sequences that draw the reader in. The character development, particularly that of the MC, is engaging, and the world-building is expertly crafted. However, there are times where you can't help but feel like a development was strange and that some characters frequently act out of character. Initially despite the promising plot and well written battles there were various aspects of this series I found pretty off-putting... and I still do to be honest.

Ian is an arrogant, dense, blockhead, with little in the way of redeeming features and some serious anger issues. The heroines and side characters aren't much better either, but their stories are slowly culminating into something and while I still dislike most of them I am curious to see where that's going. It also makes them feel more multifaceted and less like one dimensional... more>> walking tropes.

Largely the most unappealing aspect to me personally is that the author spends entirely to much time sexualizing every single female in the story, repeatedly, ad naseum. I get it, and I know what genre I'm reading. It's a harem and people are here for the waifus, to some extent I am too I won't lie. The problem here is that the author will frequently break up what should a very tense moment to emphatically reiterate how gorgeous whichever female happens to be present in the scene. It feels awkward, incredibly out of place, and breaks immersion completely.

Despite the initial distaste I powered through, by virtue of lacking anything else better to read, and as the mysteries of the letters slowly unfolds I find myself more and more intrigued by whats going on and where it will go. It can feel pretty formulaic at times but with Ian almost always being on the back foot to some degree it maintains tension, and it's a nice break from OP munchkins and eternally suffering weak protagonists. It's a nice middle ground I don't see too much in webnovels. Ians abilities and weapon of choice are also pretty non-standard, which further accentuates this series uniqueness.

It takes a while to really set up, and not so great pacing doesn't help, but you could do a lot worse and after swinging widely from honestly kind of hating it to now enjoying the ride I'd say give it a chance. <<less

Love letter from the future has an interesting premise.

Our MC is a lower noble and is one of the weaker students in the academy, but a certain letter changes it all. Unlike most novels which deal with regression or information from the future, our MC is the one left as clueless as the other characters. The world build of this novel is brilliant so far, and this make the pacing seem a bit slow. Each character is fleshed out and given their time in the limelight. It's a not a... more>> flood of information pouring in at one time, but learning about them along with the MC.

The questions and the clues from the letters help build up a suspenseful and mysterious atmosphere and leaves you wanting more. This novel does give me a similar feel to another favourite of mine, the Second Coming of Gluttony.

If you plan to read this novel, I suggest that you be patient as it starts out slow but the build up is worth it. <<less

I'm really liking this novels so far tho it has some things I don't like

The MC is totally dense Which I really despise about harems MCs but he compensates on being badass

The girls I don't really dig they feel more like pets than love interests and they're always fighting eachother while MC is dense as a rock

... more>> The only one I liked was the saintess.

The fights in this novel are pretty fun to read and are well written but the MC powering up during fights by insta learning techniques from his future self and memories is kinda annoying since he'll have a solution to every problem he faces

Overall the fights are good, the girls are mid, while I don't see where the plot is going since it's very slow. <<less

Love Letter from the Future is a captivating novel that presents an intriguing premise - a letter from the future warning of imminent danger. The main character, Ian, is fearlessly adaptive and demonstrates surprising resilience in the face of adversity. The novel's side characters and their relationships with the MC are some of its greatest strengths.

Set in an academy, the novel offers an enjoyable blend of character dynamics and a harem romance, which is one of my favorite genres. Although the world is said to be on the brink of... more>> destruction, the stakes for the MC don't feel as pressing, and the plot is not as prominent as one might expect. Instead, the story focuses more on the characters and their relationships, as well as harem/romance elements.

The action scenes are a standout feature of this novel, with well-written and immersive fight sequences that draw the reader in. The character development, particularly that of the MC, is engaging, and the world-building is expertly crafted.

While the regression and magic academy tropes may be cliché, Love Letter from the Future executes them consistently and effectively. The protagonist's dual personality and letters from his future self add a unique twist to the story. <<less

One of my favourite from genesis. Love letter from the future is exactly as the title suggests. A letter from the future which outlines a great danger about to befall the world.

The MC is in one word fearless. Man grows up balls of steel whenever the situation requires him to. Ohh, and he's a masochist too. He loves tearing his body apart just to make sure he has a small probability to win.

The strengths of this novel are it's side characters and the relationship they hold with the MC. Each... more>> one has an entertaining dynamic with the MC. This novel hooked me up which just the relationships the MC has with the side characters.

There have only been limited fights but each one is very descriptive and sucks you into another world. Kudos to the translators.

Many other aspects of this novel are yet to be judged as only 60 chapters have been translated. The novel is still at its initial state but I'm sure it has potential to turn into an epic tale.

PS: There is no need to define the saintess's assets any time she shows up. We get it she has big b**ba.. <<less

"Love Letter From The Future" offers an intriguing premise of a protagonist receiving messages from his future self to change the course of events and prevent disaster. The execution of this idea seems well done, with the protagonist and other characters coming across as believable. The worldbuilding sounds coherent and immersive.

The pacing appears to start off a bit slow, spending time on worldbuilding and character development in the early chapters. However, the plot picks up after around chapter 15, with exciting events and action scenes unfolding. The fight scenes are... more>> very well-written and satisfying.

The protagonist Ian seems to be a well-rounded character, neither overpowered nor a pushover. He has a strong will and determination which allows him to overcome tough situations and opponents. However, he is not portrayed as perfect or idealistic, making some hypocritical choices at times that highlight his humanity.

Romance and harem elements feature heavily in the story. Opinions seem divided on this aspect, with some greatly enjoying it and others finding it a turn-off. Readers averse to romance and harem content may want to avoid the novel. The relationship dynamics appear to develop organically over time.

Overall, it has excellent action, an interesting premise, good pacing after the initial slower chapters, and divisive romance/harem components. Fans of time travel, action fantasy, and romantic elements may find it an engaging, worthwhile read. Those adverse to harem and abundant romance may want to skip this one. <<less

The MC is dense went it comes to romance, and denies everything he hasn't experienced, thus advices given to him goes in one ear and out the other. At other times, he can be fairly smart, but then doubt himself to stay on the safe side.

What I like about this novel is that it does not strive from tragedies as a result of his actions, giving sunshine results from his mistakes with plot armor. Due to the experience he is force to experience, causes him to slowly develop.

Love Letter from the Future has an intriguing premise that immediately hooks readers in. The story follows Ian, a seemingly ordinary noble who begins receiving prophetic letters from various versions of himself in potential future timelines. These letters warn of impending disasters and guide Ian down a path to prevent catastrophe and become a mighty hero.

The execution of this novel is fantastic, with well-paced progression and strong writing. Ian is a relatable protagonist who exhibits natural flaws and growth. His character development feels organic as he's forced to mature rapidly... more>> in the face of great adversity. Side characters are also realized with depth beyond common tropes.

The worldbuilding remains a bit limited given the story's focus on Ian's academy life so far. However, there are hints of an expansive world and political conflicts brewing. The academy life provides an enjoyable backdrop for Ian's coming-of-age, complemented by burgeoning romances.

Speaking of romance, the novel does feature a harem element which may turn some readers off. However, the romantic development is handled in a refreshingly subtle way. The female leads have agency and it never feels like the relationships are forced.

The action sequences are a highlight, with gripping battles and imaginative fight choreography. Ian consistently finds himself the underdog, yet perseveres through wit and determination, resulting in very satisfying underdog moments.

In summary, Love Letter from the Future stands out for its well-rounded execution. An everyman protagonist and emotionally resonant relationships help ground the story. <<less

Love letter from the future, as the name says, is a novel where the MC Ian Percus, receives a letter from the future after sobbering up from a "hangover" and not remembering anything that happened in the last 7 days.

After that our MC mentally drastically changes, he gets bolder and fearless than ever, not backing up to any situation no matter how dangerous it is. Even sacrificing any part of his body in order to accomplish his goals.

For now, and hopefully in the future too, the best character from this... more>> story is our protagonist. One of the best characteristic of the MC is how he will undoubtedly smash to a pulp any person that pisses him off, even if that person is high ranking novel with way more rank than him.

Although one negative aspect of his will be he’s for some reason a really dense person, he’s really ignorant in any of the advances of the female characters.

Overall, this is a really good story specially if you enjoy action, romance and harems stories. <<less
