This is really sweet. It's pretty much a quick transmigration series from the pov of the typical ML.

But, as a result, there's no focus on the face slapping elements, drama, or what the previous world was like originally. Still, it's really sweet just following two characters who like each other from the start and just enjoy being with each other. There's a bit of a mystery to be solved, like why can't MC remember his past lives, why's he so good at ancient Chinese, why the ML has a system,... more>> etc.

Because the MC isn't privy to any of the plot details (etc) this could be considered boring for some and I'm not sure how the author can keep this concept interesting in the long run, but so far it's interesting to see what it's like for characters in Fast Wear who don't realize they're in a quick transmigration story. <<less

I had accumulated irritation at this point, so I decided to write a review.

there were some good arcs with sweet love. But more often, it is the ML who has to run, achieve, transfer the MC to his side. Xiao Bai, according to my feelings, although falls in love at first sight, he often rejects these feelings. And if there had been another person in ML's place, then everything would have been really bad. Because xiao bai can choose family over his man. Because while he "doesn't care about others",... more>> he often worries about the views and opinions of others. He does't try to protect his man, almost never defends him and simply allows himself to be loved, and then reluctantly accepts. Also, the author can often break a character's character with just one phrase. And all the pleasant impressions fall apart like a house of cards.

+ and everyone constantly says that ML is not suitable for mс. And MC doesn't really deny it. <<less

Bland.

Nothing really special especially with how shallowly the worlds/settings were explored. There was pretty much no point in the quick transmigration/world hopping. Like why go into the genre if you're not gonna take advantage of it?

I was bored through so many arcs, thinking and hoping that the author would be better in the writing (i was expectant because of all the high revuews), but I was disappointed

I'm not particularly picky and I don't have the highest standards but I did not like this. I dropped it after the first arc.

I dont want to judge something before finishing it, but I felt like I had to at least finish the first arc before writing a review. I think I agree with most of the reviews, it was bland and quite boring. I didnt feel any chemistry between the main cp and it was not fun to read.

Spoiler

The first arc was mildly in*estuous and I didnt like how the ML kissed him when they were kids. I dont have problems dropping things I dont like and the first arc usually sets how I view the whole novel, this made me not want to read the rest of it. I dont particularly mind the brother thing, bc he's adopted but the child kissing was kinda gross, and not something I want to read.

[collapse]

I did not finish the novel so read other reviews and try it out before deciding if you like it or not. I just personally did not enjoy it. I actually enjoy cute and fluffy novels, and I thought I would give this a try based on what the other reviews were saying, there were cute parts but its not my brand of dog food, iyk. Imo if you want to read QT novels there are so many other good ones, no need to scr*pe the bottom of the barrel.

I gave this 3 stars because I didnt finish it and I didnt feel it was fair to rate it lower, but I personally did not like this and do not recommend it. <<less

I really loved this story and I am really happy that I finished it.

The MC and ML are more in love with every world that they visit but as the story progresses you realize more and more that the ML is keeping secrets from the MC. I never got the sense it was malicious secrets but it was a big mystery for me and I was so worried that MC would be hurt when he found out the truth.

When I got to the penultimate arc, there was a chapter when... more>> ML said something which upset MC. I was honestly so invested in these characters and happiness I was scared to keep reading!!!!

However, I picked it up again after some encouragement from someone else and I am really glad I came back and saw the sweet ending to their story.

Spoiler

The final arc gives the MC and ML a chance to reverse their roles (not reversible sexy times, 1 gong 1 shou no swap) as visitors to this world. This gives them a chance to experience where the other is coming from and resolves the last bit of communication struggles that might stand between them. So finally happy and peaceful ending.

I just love how the ML can reassure that whether the MC is a sweet and innocent baby or a big BOSS he will love him but how he will love him is just different just like clears so much of their tangled feelings. It's great.

I had started reading this novel a long time ago, but stopped for some reason I can't remember (probably my goldfish-like attention span acting up again). Now, on my second read, I tried reading from the beginning, but found myself skipping the first arc because I got a headache. I can vaguely remember having tried reading the first arc several times only to fail at the same place because of the same reason. It's a mystery. Maybe I am allergic against bear children.

Either way, I decided to only read the... more>> arcs that interested me which were the gaming arc, AOB arc, apocalypse arc and vampire arc. But again, my plans changed because I noticed that after a certain arc the following arcs seemed unfamiliar, meaning I haven't read them before. So yeah, decided to read the rest after all.

From what I can remember, the plot (s) was/were okay. Nothing too out of the ordinary. The thing that stood out the most to me plot-wise was the apocalypse arc since it took a turn which I had not seen in any other novel up-to-date.

As for characters... The MC with his amnesia was naive, gullible and innocent most of the time until he regains his memory so he becomes a sulking wife who runs away from home in a fit of rage, innocence and nativity out the window. The ML reminds me of that one time I got chewing gum stuck in my hair, annoying and persistent as f***. When I cut my hair off, I was glad I got rid of the chewing gum, it was even worth the loss of hair. But even if the MC went bald, he still wouldn't be rid of the s*x-crazed ML. The ML almost always has the upper hand over the MC due to the MC's amnesia and the general opness of the ML. This leads to awkward power dynamics that it is creepy at times. In one world, the ML literally groomed the child MC into his ideal innocent lover that is only depending on him.

The more I write, the more I start to dislike the ML even if I have read about worse ones. So I should stop while I still have a generally okay attitude towards the novel.

Overall, it's an okay read based on the arcs I have read this second round, well, aside from the first arc that mysteriously and consistently gave me a headache. 3.5/5 <<less

Just complete this, it's too fluffy— True love really... *sigh*

Even your lover will change identities, But if you recognized the soul of your lover, You will always fell in love many times. Wow. This Novel really, I may stop and read, but this totally worth it. It's not like other system transmigrate novel, that you recognized the soul of your lover but he had amnesiac, and you're pursuing him and he's part of the system.

But in here, The ML is part of the system and doing his best for the... more>> MC to be also part of the system so they can be together, even they do task, Boom! Fell in love at first sight. Sighhhhh** wish we can have this relationship tooo..

Even the ML is too pe*verted, He still treasure the MC. And the MC, former soft and naive, became Cold and Strong AAAAAAAA <<less

Just want to explain, since this novel is quite unique from other QTs novel, if you're looking for a slapping-face, strong MC, and slow romance, then this is not for you.

But if just want to dive into sweetness and fluff, well I can recommen you this.

Plus, the world setting is quite unique, and the gong's POV is hilarious XD, but there's MC's POV too so it's fun to know both of their reaction.

Okay so our MC is gentle, and naive, but sometimes he will shows his fangs XD but later... more>> you can see his change so don't worry haha. Our ML is hilarious, your typical ML with black-bellied, strong, and a living vinegar jar, but with a sprinkle of doting and pampering to our MC and this is where this novel is unique, the one who transmigrate to another world is our ML while our MC is the one who reincarnate in every world. So you won't see much of the face-slapping.

But it's okay because you will be served with loves and ML chasing the MC haha, + ML's vinegar jar.

Lastly, just enjoy the river of sweetness and read this novel till the end :) <<less

I read this a few months back and the only thing I had written in my notes aside from the rating of 2.5/5 was one word: Bland. There wasn't even my usual rant against nieve and pampered idiot MC.

all of the work for each world is done by the ML so it might have been a more interesting story if the gong/attack was the MC instead but then again, a lot of things happen off-screen so it might have been just as bland either way. There was some fluff, so... more>> fluff lovers might like it, but nothing stands out as particularly memorable. <<less

Its a good read, but mainly about romance... If that's what u feel like reading, then this won't disappoint.

Negatives: The charactersdont have many ups and downs and everything is too easy & simple, which makes the story slightly lacking...

Not as good as some other QT novels plotwise, but a well written one nonetheless.

First time writing reviews here. I really like this novel, honestly. QT with tooth-rotting fluff is really my cup of tea to read after a tiring day. I really like how after an arc ends it just moved on to another and while there's more deeper plot running in the background it doesn't ruin or interfere with the current arc. The arcs are also pretty unique, even though it's your usual QT worlds (entertainment, ABO, ancient imperial, etc.) but MC and ML roles kept the story line fresh for me.... more>> MC and ML relationship is really nice and sweet...

But then,

Spoiler

Ninth Arc happened. I personally can't stand forced things and would avoid novels with this genre, but at Seventh Arc I was starting to doubt the 'sweetness' of their relationship. Still, it was readable for me and I kept going but this ninth arc really makes me sad after reading the latest chapter. ML did mentions that he was taking MC's tolerance and his love for him (ML) for granted after a few worlds, but the fact that he didn't stop even when he knew MC was clearly having emotional troubles and discomfort with his actions really put me off. This matter also wraps up with them seen as a lovey-dovey newlywed couple at the end of the chapter. This might be my least favorite arcs out of all of them.

[collapse]

I wish the author would take MC's emotional struggle a bit more serious since it would add a bit more drama and turns into it more of ML's effort winning him back.

Still, a very solid novel. Worth reading if you like fluff QT genre (with a bit of spice) :) <<less

I have mixed reaction to this. I'm currently in the third world.. Hmm, I like QT and doting MLs and if the reader wants fluffy interactions without the scheming and face slapping, might be just up their alley.

Spoiler

ML remains constant while MC is the one who traverses worlds with his memories wiped. ML usually starts off worse than MC, does most of the legwork from his rise from the ashes, go through the trouble of finding his little lover, get him to fall in love with him all over again, and live an entire lifetime together in that world peacefully.

Tho I can somewhat sympathize with reviews that find it a little too flat because the ML usually has everything planned out already and it's pretty much smooth sailing for the most part. Or maybe it's because it's written in a way where it's quick paced that it's more like a summary than storytelling that it feels a somewhat detached?

Didn't realize this was picked up to be translated.

Read this a while ago and wanted to drop in and add my two cents. I attempted to read this but dropped it in the middle of the first arc. So I like having strong, smart, not naive MCs. Here, the frickin ML has the system. Sure, from the MC’s perspective I can see that the ML is OP, but the ML always starts from the bottom and then becomes strong later on. But the MC was pretty dumb and naive in... more>> the first arc. Then would the story be mostly about the romance if it’s from the MC’s perspective? Maybe this will improve somehow by incorporating the MC into the action, but I’m not too optimistic. Following a naive MC who doesn't know anything and is just strung along by a strong ML who has a system just isn't my cup of tea. <<less

Three obvious issues

1. weirdly fatphobic

2. the beast world had it where the MC wasn’t full grown so he couldn’t like shift to human ig. the ML was using his tail? to get off and they described his tail as being “thin” after all the rubbing... weird

3. awful pacing and describes everything very vague, like the ML always finished the tasks super quick n off screen but even the romantic aspects weren’t well described. you didn’t really get see many sweet moments between the two, you were j told it happened

I got fooled by the summary and ended up losing interest almost as soon as I started reading. I think the summary in itself is pretty bad. I avoided reading the novel for a long time because of it XD and when I finally decided to read regardless of the summary, it turned it to be misleading. Anyway, here's what I know for now:

Summary: This is a novel where the two main characters had long met and fallen in love before the story ever even began. When we first meet... more>> the two, the shou (who is actually the ML in this situation), had been reborn without any memories of the past, but with lingering feelings for the gong, who he encounters at a young age. As for the MC, it's clear that he remembers everything, idk why he doesn't say anything (I guess it's a bit pointless since the shou is too young and probably wouldn't believe it), but he chooses to not say anything and e instead let's things go on as they will. Of course, since the shou loves the gong to begin with, progress is expected to be relatively smooth.

Thoughts: It's hard to have any thoughts since I just started reading LOLOL, but I do agree that the setup is a bit "bland". This novel reads more like a sequel. Everything has already been setup, and the main pairing had their Happy Ending. It's just that, as sequels usually show, Happy Endings aren't always forever and things happened to split them up again. As a person that usually dislikes and avoids sequels, it's hard to get over the hurdle of instinctively wanting to disdain the novel for not living up to expectations LMAO. ANYWAY, all I know for now is that I have no intention on continuing to read. I'll try again later, hopefully it will be better if I know what's coming. <<less

Oh geez. I'm usually more tolerant of cheesy or cliche QT novels, but I have to agree with other reviewers that this was just BLAND everywhere.

It's like the author wasn't sure which POV to write (first few arcs, it's hard to tell who's MC and ML because some parts are written from their perspectives, but the gong and shou roles are clear), and you don't feel attached to either character of the pairing.

Basic formula was ... more>>
Spoiler

shou has a bad life or was missing something his entire life but then meets the gong who also had a bad experience but shows off his skills. Some dog blood and face slapping occur as the two get together and happily ever after.

[collapse]
But the dogblood events aren't even that well-written. The author describes it pretty monotone like this happens, then this happens, and then MC and ML (who is who depends on arc apparently) do some face slapping, then spread dog food everywhere. The dog food was barely described too. Whoops, next arc time! And repeat. Bland! Bland! Bland!

Yeah this was pretty tough to complete. You just get so bored, and you force yourself to keep reading to not make a review prematurely. Too fast-paced. If you're not going to focus on the story, then focus on the relationship, you would think? Nope. Even the romance was badly paced. I do think the translation was fine and give props to them for translating. <<less

Cute CP, nice worlds and fluffy stories.

It's like a pure slice of life but with QT and tho many think it's boring it is what it sais in the tags ┐ ( ∵ ) ┌

I LOVED the ML? Or is it the MC? The story is told with both perspectives so who knows, anywayyy I had never seen a seme with that much confidence in his manliness even Cross dressing and all, it was quite unique and interesting.

(And surprisingy women where not the villans like in 90% of bl's!!... more>> I really apreciate a story with male lovers in wich the author is not missoginist) <<less

A bit overhyped but it’s understandable why it’s liked by so many. It was interesting to see more of the Gong’s POV; this cute bastard is honestly a bit more tamer than some of MLs from this genre.

However, I do wish I got more from MC after all of this “training” I really wanted to see how their relationship evolved too after everything happened 😣 Oh well, he’s cute so I’ll allow it.

4-5/5!

key points:

    • very little drama and face slapping - mainly the CP being romantic and cozy.
    • arcs dont have twists and turns or brain-wrinkling mysteries.
    • overall just fluffy slice-of-life interactions between the gong ML (the system-bearing transmigrator) and the shou MC (the worlds' "native").
    • MC is generally the pure and naive type? Until the very last arc. Anyway, if thats not ur thing u'll find issue with this story. *Side note: his personality changes a bit to match his character setting in each world, but he's mostly sweet and a bit weak lol. Usually the ML holds him in the palm of his hand.
i very much enjoyed the little twists the author added to certain arcs regarding the CP dynamic, that is-

Spoiler

-in a modern arc the ML transmigrates into a fat guy (and stays fat for most of the arc), in an omegaverse arc they're both delicate-looking betas, in an ancient arc the ML crossdresses, etc.

[collapse]

pretty fun! I think it adds interest to the novel given the lack of intensity and suspense.

about the MC's personality:

Spoiler

yes, his personality is generally naive. I stick by the bullet point I wrote. In the last arc is when his character changes - having recovered his memories of the numerous transmigrations, he becomes more calculative and wants to prove to the ML that he doesn't need to be held in the palm of his hand anymore and can bear burdens with him. He still has a soft spot for him, though haha. This arc is the same length as the other ones, so we don't see much of the MC's newly developed traits.

[collapse]

so again, if ur looking for a face-slapping scheme-filled QT novel, this is absolutely not what ur looking for.

the translation is like 3.5/5 in my opinion; the grammar isn't really good, but it doesn't usually impact the reading experience (which is to say, it's overall coherent but there are some parts that I simply could not understand. Fortunately, the occasional lack of understanding did not impact the storyline). There are also some strange word choices ("melanization" instead of the usual "blackening" and a few others). In any case, it's better than reading the machine translation.

This is a very sweet novel, but it's also very repetitive and sometimes slow.

Before reading this novel, I wondered why it had so few ratings for a QT novel whose translation was finished a year ago, and I also wondered why the rating was only 4.1.

In all honesty, I attribute its low readership to its summary, which I think we readers can all agree unfortunately fails to describe the plot of its book nor it's one hook—that this time, the ML is the transmigrator. To be frank, I only picked... more>> this book up because I saw in the reviews that this story is a little unique because this time, the MC is the one who forgets.

As for the ratings, however, I think that is due to the banality of this novel. It isn't perfect, but more toxic books have existed, and those books tend to have a higher or equal rating. Why? Because those books, though morally dubious, are entertaining. And that, to me, is where this novel fails.

I loved the first arc because of the overwhelming sweetness of the CP, but even then I had doubts how the author will experiment and innovate with the plot to keep it feeling fresh and exciting. The answer is: mild changes that only feel like padding instead of significant parts of the plot. The problem with the arcs is that everything about them is self-contained. Nothing that happens cause the two leads to grow or learn in a significant sense. There is no sense of achievement when an arc closes, because all we feel is exhaustion at reading what is basically a repetition of the former arcs, just now with elements that feel tacked on.

In my opinion, it may have been better if the author also showed more of the ML's perspective, if we were shown slight bits about why they have to keep hopping worlds in each arc that we can piece together, or anything that can build up an interesting mystery or anything that can attach us to the ML's incarnations and to the plot. To be honest, because we see almost nothing of the original hosts, we also feel nothing when the ML fulfills their wishes.

All in all, while this novel does have some sweet moments, every arc feels repetitive, and nothing really grounds us in the plot nor attaches us to the characters. I really wanted to like this, I really do, but the plot is 3/5 and the enjoyment it gave me is 3/5 as well. I don't know if I'll eventually pick this up again, but for now, I'm dropping this before the 5th arc starts. <<less
