He's pretty unique among psychopaths in that he's a bona fide idiot. If you want a cold, calculating MC... This is literally the furthest possible you can get from that. Think Cid Kagenou level insanity, doing everything on a whim and prioritizing entertainment over all. The character himself is very different from Cid, but they're cut from the same cloth, so to speak.

If an MC who's the epitome of chaos and acts like he ran out of f*cks to give half a century ago sounds fun to you, give this a shot. If it catches your interest within the first 2-3 chapters, you're almost certainly going to enjoy the rest. If it doesn't, then you probably won't, and don't need to bother wasting any more time.

The title doesn't lie in this one. MC is incredibly unhinged and has a very eccentric character

This novel is honestly a hidden gem and seriously underrated. Even though it starts off with a cliché setup, it's surprisingly entertaining all the way through. The comedy had me cracking up, and almost every chapter had me laughing. The protagonist is such a unique mix, pragmatic yet totally eccentric. Despite his eccentricity, there's logic behind everything he does, he's not just random, he's weirdly sensible. The story's pacing is another strong point. It's consistent from start to finish, and while the world-building and side characters aren't the best, the novel still delivers exactly what it promises: pure entertainment.

It's also refreshingly short, which, in my opinion, works in its favor. The author doesn't drag things out unnecessarily or milk the story, everything wraps up nicely with no unresolved issues. I have to give props for that. Oh, and the pop culture references? Absolute gold, especially the ones tied to anime and literature.

Overall, this is a quick, fun read that does exactly what it's meant to do ; entertain.
