While reporting on traditional wedding customs in a remote mountain village, Zhou Wu unwittingly attends a local banquet. Tipsy and confused, he falls asleep only to dream of a grand wedding where he, dressed in crimson ceremonial robe, is carried in a bridal sedan and wedded by nightfall.

The next morning, he comes down with a mysterious fever that won’t break for two days. Hoping to recover, he leaves the mountains. But things only get stranger when he returns to the city.

His shower gel has been used.

His phone lights up in the dead of night, opening bizarre, untraceable websites.

The nightmares won’t stop.

And… someone is watching him.

A pair of eyes, cold and constant, follow him like a shadow.

Terrified, Zhou Wu stammers into the air, “QAQ, I’m Zhou Wu. I’m a man.”

His voice is soft, his features pure. The unseen eyes burn red.

His friends start to notice changes too.

“Zhou Wu… did you get a girlfriend or something? Your place is spotless now. You pack lunch in the morning and rush home to eat at night.”

Zhou Wu: …Girlfriend?

He pats his friend’s shoulder with solemn gravity.

“Be careful walking home at night.”
