Yu Tiantian transmigrated into a cannon fodder supporting female character in a period drama. The supporting female character married the foolish younger brother of the male lead.

After marriage, the supporting female character was dissatisfied with her foolish husband and often flirted with the male lead behind his back, using means to bully the foolish brother. The foolish brother, naive and simple-minded, endured her bullying silently. Eventually, she pushed him into the river, drowning him.

When Yu Tiantian transmigrated, it happened to be her wedding night with the foolish brother.

Looking at her handsome yet foolish husband, Yu Tiantian: “…” She wanted to cry but couldn’t shed a tear.

Yu Tiantian was protective by nature. Although she was dissatisfied with transmigrating in such a manner and ending up with a foolish husband, she wouldn’t tolerate others bullying him. Whenever someone bullied him, she would protect him like a mother hen guarding her chicks.

Xiao Heng was reborn. After his rebirth, he wasn’t foolish anymore; he was exceptionally intelligent. On their wedding night, he thought this beautiful yet treacherous wife would make him sleep on the cold floor like in their previous life, not even giving him a blanket. However, to his surprise, she asked him to sleep together on the bed.

Not only that, in their previous life, she always made him sneakily steal bird eggs for her to eat. If he failed to get the eggs, she would pinch him all over, leaving him covered in bruises. But in this life, this wife found ways to get delicious food for him and instructed him not to tell anyone.

Xiao Heng: “…” He couldn’t help but feel that his wife had also been reborn.

But later, he learned that his wife hadn’t been reborn, but…

Honestly confused about the point of this story - I agree with the other reviewer that it felt incomplete. It's almost like the author planned for more but ultimately decided to just end it. The ending was very abrupt.

All that happened is that some face slapping happened and that was all.

For example. Why did the MC even need a golden finger with all those rules. It was almost building up to be more but other than a few times, nothing happened. The whole point of her moving out to a separate home was to hide that (and for some freedom).

What happened to MC's original world and her family?

What about MC's current body's family? They leave and that's it?

What about the family ML was stolen from?

How was 3rd brother's OG family so powered in the book when in reality they're just relatives of the grandma? What was he doing all this time he was faking being in the military?

What about ML's future endeavors? Sounded like author wanted him to have a successful job and then go on to college. But it ended so quickly and suddenly?

Everything was resolved so easily be happenstance so it felt like all ducks were in a row.

This author seems to write the same type of no real substance fluff style novels. Which I do enjoy ngl. I'd say their other novel "Transmigrating into a 70s Supporting Female Character: Sweet and Adorable" is better. <<less

So-so read. It kinda daily life story, eat sleep etc and have many loops hole. MC is house wife, they in 'work to collect points era' but 3-4 family members not working at all haha.

Even without golden fingers MC can live just fine. The story end when problems are all solved.

Relationship is mess. Villains are wick and extreme. They dare to kill.

I really annoyed, if someone drowned my baby in latrine. I will poisoning them, let them eat sh*t and bury them into shithole alive.

It's illogical, the elder kill your child and forced you to raise someone else child and you fine with it for 20 more years

It was good, but felt a little incomplete. Although, for all I know, maybe there were extras.

The FL had a 'goldenfinger' supermarket that really didn't go anywhere and she hardly used it because it's difficult to bring out that much food without suspicion.

The OG ML was truly pitiful and broke my heart. I wish the OG Tiantian would have shown up and comforted the poor guy.

The ML never found out that the FL wasn't the original owner or that ... more>>

the OG Tiantian wasn't the one who pushed him into the river.

We also never found out who

the ML's real family was. And his mother never found out that he wasn't her biological son.

Plus, the slice of life events were off. Every day the FL just cooks and sleeps and maybe heads to the market. That would be fine if things were described more, but they weren't. It's like having a daydream and your brain keeps glossing over details just to get to the good parts. She kept saying how she needed to figure out how to make money, but naps clearly took precedence. Lol, it was mildly frustrating. Take a shot every time she takes a nap. I dare ya.

The original body's family appeared at one point and wanted to take her away but the FL didn't want to go. She said to give her 3 months to decide if she wanted to leave. I actually thought this would be a kind of foreshadowing. That things would come to a head and she would run away to her family. Nope.

In the end, the story didn't go out with a bang. It went out with a sizzle. Kind of like this review. Stitled with a lack of payoff.
Spoiler

The FL didn't even find out that he was faking being a fool. The ML got away with everything. He hit his head and pretended to be normal again, with a bit of amnesia. The author could have introduced drama by having her feel too uncomfortable with the change that she left him, but she did not leave him. They just lived together awkwardly. So we didn't get any strong feelings of betrayal or any angst. It was a let down. But at least the story wasn't dragged out.

The romance was decent. <<less
