This novel is waste potential.

The first 2-3 chapters are terrific and horrifying. The MC was a normal child with a childhood friend, a lovable mother and yada yada, but all comes crashing down when is discovered he can use his family's magic. His bloodline has the ability to ens*ave women and draw power from them, so as one could expect from such power, his family is full of mysoginistic tr*sh that deserve to die in the most horrible ways possible. This is a great set up for a revenge story,... more>> but we're not here for that, this is a +18 novel and that's the problem.

After such traumatic event he only thinks about protecting his mom and childhood friend from his family, which is understandable, but he should also harvor deep hatred against them for destroying his life, yet we're never told as such. Instead he puts up the act as one of the family (to a way lesser degree) and distances himself from both women after being pressured to ens*ave his childhood friend. Thing he actively wanted to avoid as to not become one of them.

And yet, at chapter 19 this is thrown out of the window. Due to circunstances, the MC instead of explaining the situation to her and tell her to just lie, he decides the most logical option is to ens*ave her (read +18) and force her to lie without giving and explanation. Something he didn't expect is despite distancing from her and even putting the charade of being a s*umbag from time to time, she's madly in love with him so she just got ens*aved righ away, just like that. What's worse is she never demands an explanation, she just takes it. <<less
