It's actually a decent novel, nice world, characters and fights.

First, the power system is interesting but not really explained well, it feels spotty and some things feels like skipped.

Second, it lacks of satisfying climax in each arc (? Idk how I call it tbh), MC had his moment but in the grand scheme things, everything feels weak? I can't keep myself interested somehow and my bar is actually pretty low.

Third, his abilities, MC granted 2 abilities, ability to extract soul fragments, when a person/creatures dies they dropped a soul fragments... more>> that contains powers and memories, this makes everything feels a lot less mysterious, sure it skipped a lot of potentially painful boring progress but it also means skipped a good sense of progress. His second ability only makes things even worse, it makes him able to identify everything as long as his mind comprehend it.

Fourth, MC lack of sense of progression. I mean its clear one of the most interesting thing about CN novel is their sense of progression despite how OP MC is, but the powers I've mentioned above practically cut a whole lot of it. Im not saying theres no progression, MC did keep getting stronger, but it's not satisfying at all to read.

Lastly, author is too h**ny/write too much fan service 😭, MC didn't act h**ny or anything but currently there are 4 somewhat important female characters (there arent any important females characters beside these 4) and MC somehow able to see them all naked at least once. These aren't prominent in the beginning but later in chapter 140+ it happens pretty frequently.

I don't mind how OP MC, I think he's pretty cool and smart despite how annoying he is when bringing knowledge from fiction, video games too frequently, his caged personality could be a nice character development but so far author only used it to make MC stronger in a fight which is a shame.

Other characters are fine too, its not amazingly written or anything but at least they're unique and easy to remember.

World building is also not bad, but those things I've mentioned above really really hold it back by a lot. <<less

Pretty good novel, but unfortunately the distributors who hold the IP don't appreciate it AT ALL. I won't go into the details for rating the book here.

Problem here is pretty much singular: Webnovel/Qidian has very poorly machine translated this novel, with what I suspect are incorrect prompts or no supervision in their custom llm. Unexpectedly you will find rather few pronoun issues this time, but another problem has taken their usual place: Names being wrong. And not *just* completely wrong like they are occasionally, I mean wrong character names being... more>> used in wrong situation. A New character named Latto introduced as a young, weak guy who's good at navigation? Soon you'll see older female character who's good at fighting being referred as "Latto". And this is a theme that unfortunately continue to plague through-out the novel.

I can only deduce from this that NO proofreading of any kind has been done for this project. Which means that all they did was run the original text through gpt type program and then just upload it to their site. And they're charging for this...? If there's anyone out there who has like a cancer or something, and you want to go out with a bang, might I suggest targets for you? <<less
