There’s this scene where FL decided to buy pastries for MC to make up after an argument but happened to come across MC talking happily to a man (Mc’s cousin) at that same shop. FL thought to herself that MC never smiled to her so happily and that they weren’t actual friends but employer and subordinate. To FL, who doesn’t have any friends due to her cold face, this really impacted her. Misunderstanding, FL returns back to her office and cries. (MC actually went to go buy pastries for FL). Anyways, MC realized FL was there and quickly ran back to the office, certain that FL misunderstood and is now sulking. When she arrived, FL was crying at lot, red eyes, her makeup was running, wet tissues everywhere. MC couldn’t take it anymore and quickly went to coax FL and wipe her tears. MC apologies to FL and cleared up the misunderstanding. They eat pastries together and made up.

P.S. The reason for the argument is because FL saw Mc’s nickname for her. MC has her as 2 and half year old on her contact

P.S.S MC found out that FL has multiple boxes of milk, so she can still grow taller.

Small complaint or potentially a misunderstanding would be the two main leads’ meeting under some tree in their childhoods. The inclusion of this event into the story felt somewhat random. There wasn’t much buildup surrounding this and it feels somewhat as if it was thrown into the story without much thought to give a fated/childhood lovers title to the couple. This leads on to my next complaint being that I wished the characters’ pasts were more/better integrated into the story. With SNX, her past really only appears within the story through the form of nightmares. When compared to QYB’s past- where she's constantly isolated from her potential peers by her strict unloving parents, only caring for academic results more or less- QYB’s personality makes more sense, how she’s insecure and childish because she’s inexperienced in those more social areas of life. There’s a deeper connection between her past and who she is today. SNX only shows her qualms with her past through her nightmares which makes it feel as though the past aspect of her life lacks depth. SNX’s past, though, is referenced occasionally before the whole picture is revealed at the end of the story. QYB doesn’t have that going for her past, leading the actual reveal itself to feel disconnected and abrupt from the rest of the story. I know I’ve written a lot, but really these are only small issues I have with the story. In the grand scheme of things or looking at the work in its entirety, these issues don’t really affect the story much. I’ve only written so much because I’m rather fond of this novel, leading me to write more about it which may have these complaints look as if they’re a bigger deal than they actually are.
