Yusuke Oyama and Yukina Himemiya are childhood friends. When they were young, they were inseparable; they always did everything together and even promised to get married someday. However, at some point, despite being physically close, they became distant, and this continued into their third year of high school.

One day, when Yusuke thought that their days would just continue like this, the two unexpectedly ran into each other at an unusual place: the maid cafe where Yusuke was a regular customer. To his surprise, Yukina was working there as a maid.

From that day on, Yukina began to interact with Yusuke in different places—at school, in the classroom, and even at the maid cafe. On top of that, Yusuke discovered that they were neighbors, despite him living alone, and Yukina started invading his space at home too; she dressed quite differently from how she looked at school.

Yusuke lamented that this must be a fateful bond orchestrated by the Gods.

However, could this really be blamed on the Gods…?
