It's a hilarious story but it moves wayyy too slow.

Translation also uses wrong pronouns and names, occasionally even missing paragraphs. Unfortunately MTL is also not very readable so it is very hard to continue the story.

FL is funny, has a venomous mouth and very sarcastic. She is a very witty person. But she has to pretend to be delicate and love-brained in front of the ML to avoid being OOC. In front of everyone else she's too lazy to pretend.

ML is the typical cold domineering CEO. But he is parodied... more>> in this novel. Author makes fun of the domineering CEO trope. For example "The weather is getting colder, it's time for the Wangs to go bankrupt." It's a classic domineering CEO line. A lot of jokes about this type of character in the story. Translation doesn't quite portray the joke well sometimes.

Story plot: FL basically transmigrated into this world as the wife of this rich CEO. Rich CEO will only live till he is 50 and when he dies, all his inheritance will go to his wife and nephew. The oriFL got depressed cause ML didn't love her and actually dies earlier than the ML, losing the chance to get the inheritance. So when FL transmigrated, she's determined to live long and get the inheritance. She also has a System bound to her where she can't go OOC. The oriFL was a love-brain and was obsessed with the ML till her actions disgusted the ML. So FL also had to pretend to be obsessive over the ML and super in love with him.

Later another System binds to her that requests for FL to protect the oriML and oriFL of this novel world as somehow there was a breach and A LOT of transmigrators are coming to the world to ruin it. They want to take the energy of the oriML and oriFL or something. Some even want to kill off the FL to get the inheritance. Some want to kill the ML... It's chaotic. FL finds out that the oriML is actually... ML's nephew that he adopted. So now there's a stepmother trope too.

When the new System binds to the FL, ML gains the ability to read her mind. That's when he finds out that his delicate love-brain wife that he hates is actually an interesting petty funny person... EXACTLY HIS TYPE. He's like, "Why is she pretending to be a green tea white lotus when her original personality is my type.... hmmmm."

So while FL is going around trying to destroy other transmigrators (she can't kill them directly, but must find way to indirectly ruin them.), ML is reading her mind and trying to figure out his nominal wife.

There's also some child-caring trope as the baby oriML is very young and lacks love from the taciturn ML. oriML is just a 5 year old baby but wants to become a domineering CEO just like ML. So oriML learns all the lines of a domineering CEO lmao.

Basically this novel is a ball of chaos with lots of tropes, jokes and parodies. I couldn't read much of it as the translation was wonky, MTL was wonky and it is SO LONG. It has a bit of slice-of-life vibes too, so it moves really slowly. It has over 600 chapters including extras and ML and FL get together rather late in the story.

Maybe I'll take a chance on this novel again someday. <<less

Not bad as a start.

The FMC is not the only transmigrator in the novel, her mission is to protect the original ML &FL from the other transmigrators and in the same time not breaking her character. (The hopeless poor lady who is in one sided love with the ML uncle.)

The plot twist here is that she doesn't know that her husband (The MC uncle can hear her thoughts)
