My childhood friend, Mitsuki Toujou, is now a nationally renowned idol representing Japan. As Mitsuki became busier, we gradually grew apart.

There was a time when I was always cheering for my childhood friend, who always exuded an overwhelming and unrivaled charisma.

From behind the TV screen, she looked dignified and cool, as if keeping everyone at a distance. It was during such times that something unexpected happened.

“Oh, it’s Kazu-kun! We’re neighbors again, just like in the old days. Take care of me~”

Out of nowhere, the top idol of Japan appeared in front of me as she popped out of the TV and it looks like she had suddenly moved into the shabby apartment next to mine.

Moreover, during the neighborly greeting, she welcomed me in her most relaxed expression and in her sleepwear!

Could it be that the childhood friend who had become distant is now seeking comfort with all her might due to the busy life of being an idol…?

This would make for an interesting anime. The characters are well written and the progression of the story flows well. It's not cliche, even from the "beautiful girl next door" premise.

I personally like how it seems to drop you right into the middle of the story but you're not overwhelmed by the events already going on. The chapters that develop the background come later and aren't dawn out, just provide the necessary information in a well thought it way.
