High school student Suzuki Toma had made a promise for the future with his childhood friend, Azusa Saori. However, out of nowhere, she coldly tells him that she wants to end their relationship, leaving Toma feeling lonely and heartbroken.

Filled with despair, Toma decides to head back to the classroom alone. There, he finds his classmate, Kamiya Suzuba, who unexpectedly confesses that she wants to be with him. Caught off guard, Toma ends up agreeing to date her.
