Akito Tatekawa and Emily Tatekawa are siblings. However, as you might guess from their names, they are actually step-siblings, not related by blood.

The two are very close. People around them often say they look more like a couple than siblings. They’re always together, holding hands on their way to and from school, and when it’s time for lunch, one of them will always come to the other’s classroom to fetch them.

Naturally, they also go out together on weekends. To anyone who didn’t know they were siblings, they’d look like a perfect match.
