This novel is jam-packed, a bang for your buck, choked full of melons!!!!

Its only 180-ish chapters but it every chapter is so full of gossip and stories, it never really stops! Highly recommend, it's not just 3 or 4 stories that gets elaborated on, but probably 20 stories. You won't be disappointed if you're looking for gossips about other people's lives and resolutions to their stories!

More than half-way through I did get abit weary because there's alot of family stories. Things like old people messing around and family dynamic that's... more>> not completely clean, hearing about it so much really does make you feel sad and tired. I think these types of stories makes you feel sympathy for the characters, and it's easy to feel exhausted when there's a lot of it.

Also, the pig spirit becomes a lovely character later on. Full of mischief, but very cute! Surprisingly one of the more likeable mascots out there.

Around 150 the ML refreshed himself.. At the end of the story this story line gets resolved, and the last part of the synopsis is the last chapter of the novel. Anyways it's quite interesting! <<less

I actually want to give review after I finish this but...I can't resist.

This is really good!

So much tea! You know that tea?

... more>> THE TEAAAAAA 🍵🤌

Every cases MC solved involve so much tea that it's really exciting to read. Other than that, the way author write this is really engaging all the time. I don't have the time to get bored because the pacing is quite right for me (but it may too fast for some people) and after we done with one scene then we immediately jump into another scenes 🤣🤣😅

I assure you that there shouldn't be much boring description like how cultivation works or how you cook this dish and how it taste or how the scenery has four trees, nine birds, and five clouds. Well, except if you are bored when reading long description of people getting in trouble (but it's part of the tea! So it's important to know the background of the tea before hearing the tea right?)

The main couple's progress also evident. While it's not that quick but considering how many tea author has given, I wouldn't mind it being a slow romance.

Tho, it's your typical ML fall in love first or more accurately, he fall from the first sight.

Both are OP on their own way, but I guess later on in the story when ML's real identity were revealed, they will be OP in the same way. It's all smooth sailing for both of them and rarely any disturbances. The slap also consist and easy too.

But the point is not the paragraph above. IT'S THE TEAAAAA

MC's character is fine and funny. He also your typical youth who like exciting things (gossip) and afraid of hardship (likes money). But doesn't mean he won't do hardship at all. He work hard in his own way and so far I haven't reach the part where author tells us about MC's past or childhood which it was implicitly told to be quite tragic. But who knows?

ML also your typical cold CEO, at least in the surface. His presence is not so strong (I say this cause imo his appearance is so few! But at least in each, I can see him flirting with MC so I'm fine 😌) and he is such innocent civilian at first (but you know from the synopsis that he is not?). But I like how the author also write fun things about him such as dressing like a peacocks when he got to meet MC for the first time (lmaoooo his lil brother is unhinged real and not afraid being beaten. He is so precious), how he got his emotional scenes with dead relative, how he is not calm all the time when interacting with MC, and how the author doesn't just describe him as "cool" "iceberg" "handsomest of them all", but he is able to laugh in front of MC, etc.

The author also doesn't overly describe on appearance. At least, the part that MC is white and has transparent like skin or how ML is Soo handsome that it break down the sky. Not like that 🤣🤣🤣 ahh I'm joking

I mean it that the author doesn't focus on describing appearance on every single turns. But really focus on spilling the tea 😮‍💨🤤

I also like MC's pets keep increasing lol. Obviously the most eye catching should be our PIG KING 🐖🙂‍↕️😉

Also to strengthen my point about how ML's lil bro is so precious was when the part where some lil antagonist canon fodder try to manipulate him into going against ML and he feel proud instead when they use the fact that ML "kick him out of the house and cut his allowance" HAHAHAHA it was told how in the past someone else also try the same things but somehow ML know about it and directly deal with the person. Now they know that it was actually Wen Jurong who report them himself🤣🤣 HE SNITCHED lol. He is so freaking adorkable.

Such precious pair of brother lol. That also prove that ML and his lil bro is related 🤣🤣🤣 blood never lieeeee

In order to make Qingqing happy when he remember his sad past about his mother.. Xiuyan give him four little figu rines. As big as his palm. Shining with light of gold.

You know where did that come from? Cause Xiuyan perfectly understanding his sweetheart's need and want and likes! That's is money! And he give it!

A freaking solid gold to be made of figu rine! 🤣🤣🤣

WHY IS THERE NO GRAND WEDDING??!!!

With Ghost King's personality, he should have make a really HUGE wedding procession that stretch in the three realms. I don't believe it! The author make the "propose" scene still as a joke and not formally count as proposing. Yet, I didn't get any closure about the ring! Nor the bracelets!

Yes! We know now that the black beads bracelet in early should be made from the Ghost King's bones! But they didn't give any explanation or continuing this matter at all. I mean, isn't that important?!

Also, about Wen family. I miss Wen Jurong. The last time he show up was when he gonna ask his brother to be lenient with his work hour but scared and run away before the Ghost King. That's it! Ahh I wanna see him again!

It also would have been interesting if Yiqing meet those three in after life lmao then torture the somehow. He only meet Zhou Yuwen at the end and that guy go crazy first before he can do anything. He must have really traumatized by his own self grudge towards someone who literally never deliberately done anything to him.

I am stunned to suddenly meet the ending. Like... there was a lot of characters worth to explore more. You know? The kind that have deep connection with MC and ML. Like the little brother, MC's senior brother, Wen's mother, Zhijian and Dafu, Naiqiu, and Pang Pang.

Obviously, I was waiting when Pang Pang finally able to turn into human. Because on how many times it was mentioned that Pang Pang feel sad and inferior by his inability.

Or maybe something like Naiqiu has enlightenment and become Dog Spirit like Dafu and Pang Pang. Then it's actually turn to Naiqiu x Pang Pang. Though I greatly doubt it would be like that cause they are so cute as brothers.

Anyway...

Edit: I check jjwx and it did end in 183 chapters. Even the article progress already marked as "end". So no matter how I'm wailing, screaming, and twirling... this wouldn't update anymore.

Well.. in conclusion, the story is not bad. I thoroughly enjoy the tea and gossip here😮‍💨🤐

The author's writing style also good. I really like how much MC make difficult and speechless expression everytime he can't say anything, as well as how funny a cold CEO type ML can be lmao🤌🍵

It's not a straight up type of jokes but something in their dialogue and interactions that make you crackles a whole lot of time. I really enjoy it.

This is fun. Like description, you can roughly guess what will happen in this novels.

But still there are disadvandages. At first MC Live Streaming Part are short, solid and directly giving info but later it turns into collection of mini stories with each live stream was given a few chapters. That makes this book unnecessarily long.

Character wise and sub characters setting is interesting and No unnecessary cannon fodder is included since live streams are already dramatic enough.

Over all it's a good read
