I really need to change the rating of my old reviews cuz holy shit, I rate this a three and rate other novels that are worse a four.

Now that's out of the way let's get to the review. Btw I read this a whileeeee ago so "pardun" me, if I get anything wrong.

So we have MC and CF (childhood friend), they meet in kindergarten. Bud falls in love at first sight and they grow up together: that's basically the whole first 20 chapters.

-they not dense as bricks

-they're cute

-"slick back, that's what I said", ye, they have this song in the novel.

cons

-felt a bit (maybe a little more than that) boring after some chapters

-cliche supa handsome MC and supa pretty gurl. Like it's fine if you make the leads pretty but do it tastefully please. Not "He's so handsome" and "she's so cute" every chapter. Thx.

-FL gets annoying sometimes

-they have to make the FL model, because why the f*ck not (they have a lot reasons not to). They always have the female lead do something like model, be on an ad, or be an actor: like it feels weird and out of place most of the time. It not even like I hate actor novels and whatnot some of my favorite novels on this site are actor ones (by some I mean one, which is "he is mine, no objection").

sooooo, read it if you want, I mean ofc you can read it if you want, I can't control what you do. Just keep in mind that it's cliche high school romance between two popular individuals who are pretty forgettable because they are kind of static and sometimes I actually turn my brain on to read novels: not sure I should read a romcom novel with my switch on but ye. I could have added like two periods in that amalgamation of words, でも, it's too late.

The whole thing focuses on the development of the relationship of two childhood friends.

We have a dominant FL and an absolute sub ML - a power couple that's just nice.

Up until chapter 50, there's fluff, laughter, and generally butterflies. Then ML starts to piss me off - his inhibition of the development of the relationship, justified by the feelings his mother has, is such absolutely absurd Asian nonsense that doesn't appear in any other literature in the world [generally abstinence until reaching "year-old" adulthood].

Later he refused to open the lingerie fitting photo that FL sent him - cringe and pathetic.

I just noticed that the same author is responsible for "my girlfriend is very good to me" - I know and can admit that he keeps the level and I will pay attention to his publications in the future. <<less
