The AI says it has the cognition of an 8 year old child... but can do predictive simulations, repair the MC's body, enhance his strength, and ramble on about the great scientific breakthroughs it will make once it's older/smarter. And all this is running in his prosthetic eye that does "calculations with a billion level floating point precision", TFLOPs? Not that impressive or even that relevant of a metric. I dunno if the author is going for this AI being from the future, but that's the only way I can figure it would know what it's future abilities will be. Maybe they establish that, but I couldn't take it seriously enough to keep reading.
