In an accident, Si Si lost her parents and took over their family’s debt-ridden shopping mall.

I read the translator's 10 chapters, then read up to chapter 233 (the current latest chapter) by MTL.

FL lives in her family's heavily indebted and shuttered shopping mall. Through a portal, she helps 2 kids in a drought-ridden, starving fief from ancient times.

reuniting with her parents, and using her shopping mall to help the ML, a responsible border prince, in rebuilding and protecting his fiefdom and his people.

Along the way, the ML discovers the truth behind several brave Generals' supposed deaths in battle, and gains their help as allies. I really liked this part as the world had more details.

By chapter 233, the story started to move towards a recognition that the awful, tyrannical Emperor needs to be overthrown, but first they need to investigate some more mysterious deaths and schemes and gather their own strength.

The FL can be a bit of a bland kind-modern-young-women type, but I really liked the plot and positive feel to the story which balanced it out.

If you like fluffy novels, inter dimensional spaces/travel, and ancient times, I'd recommend this. <<less

The premise is interesting and I like how the author merges the dimensional time travel aspect. 2 kids from this ancient dynasty in an alternate universe is able to meet FL who owns a shopping mall, and she helps them. The two kids are ML’s nephew and niece and they give the FL their day-to-day items which are antiques for the FL to sell. Its so interesting how FL teaches them how to cook using videos on a phone.

Later on FL will somehow end up in this alternate universe in... more>> her original body and meet the ML. There are other interesting aspects like:

FL’s parents who died actually transmigrated to these ppl in Daqi dynasty! The parents transmigrated into a pair of traitors haha so they are kinda being isolated and scorned.

ML falls for how kind hearted and nice FL is from the start but FL doesn’t quite like ML yet as far as I read. There is also an interesting SML.

I would read further but the story is still incomplete at 407 chapters!! The romance is also slow burn and I am not feeling it tonight so I’ll stop here and wait for the awesome translations to catch up later. <<less

The premise is interesting, but the presentation is a little cringe. Plus, the good feelings of the ML and his mother for the FL came way too fast.

I know that she had helped them with their problems, but the way his mother immediately tried to matchmake them and the way the ML catch feelings for her were way too fast.

They also trusted each other way too fast. Like, bruh, you guys don't know each, you all are just strangers, how can the ML and his mother trust the FL so... more>> much that they let their children go meet her in her bedroom without guarding against her.

Sure we know that the FL is kind, and she had helped them, but to trust her with the kids immediately felt off to me.

The kindness the FL showed them was understandable, after all they are people in need. It's not strange to want to help strangers in need. But the love the strangers felt for the FL came so fast that it felt, like I said, so fast that it felt a bit forced.

I wanted to try reading more, but honestly, I would rather spend that time to read other better books. This novel isn't too bad, but it's not enough for me to invest my time in, so I'll be dropping this. <<less
