Please use proper spacing and paragraphs.Su Yanxi, the young prince, takes her twin brother’s place to Weicang Kingdom, primarily on a mission for marriage diplomacy. However, instead of finding a wife, she finds a girl who seems to be… her daughter?
The little girl looks undernourished, small and frail, but she clings to Su Yanxi’s pant leg, looking up with watery eyes, and calls out, “Daddy…”
Su Yanxi: “…”
Even though she doesn’t want to admit it, this child looks exactly like her. Perhaps because she’s a girl, she resembles Su Yanxi even more than her twin brother.
Five years ago, Nan Jiyan was taken advantage of by a stranger. When she first saw his full appearance, the child’s father forcefully married her. As she gradually developed feelings for him and finally lost her heart, he told her, “I am a woman; that day, it wasn’t me.”
He smiled warmly and gently, but Nan Jiyan felt as if she’d fallen into an ice cellar.
A woman? She is a woman? And the child’s father… isn’t him either?
Nan Jiyan’s hand paused in the action of undressing, and tears began to fall unwillingly. Su Yanxi, however, raised her eyebrows and gently kissed away the tears from the corner of her eyes. In that moment, the half-opened clothes slipped from her grasp.
She whispered softly, “But it was me who came to marry you, me who stood beside you at the altar, and it was me… who spent the night with you.”
Later, she realized that it was indeed her that day, and the little one was also hers.

- All in all, I really recommend this novel! I liked it, and I think more people should give it a chance!
Now, I'd like to talk about the story in depth. As I've said above, the characters are great! Not every character acts in a sensible way, but they act in ways that makes sense for them as a character and as a human who grew up in that kind of environment, i.e. an alternate ancient China. The MC might act a bit harsh to FL in the beginning. However, it makes sense considering the situation and she was in a hurry to marry her as well. Also, even MC's 'harshness' isn't too harsh, and she's still kind and considerate to FL. After their marriage--which happens pretty early on--MC becomes even kinder and considerate. MC isn't super smart or OP. But you can tell she is a powerful person with schemes of her own and she is indeed worthy of the title Crown Prince. FL is a bit more hostile towards MC because she thinks MC is an irresponsible person who left her and her child alone after that night together. But she warms up to MC in the end. I can't hear her voice, but I feel like the tone she says "Husband" changes after a certain point hehe The thing I like the most about the couple is how they always talk to each other and communicate. Of course, there are misunderstandings, and they may not talk about it immediately. However, they will talk about it eventually. For example: MC and FL's kid. A huge plot point of the story is who imp**gnated FL. Is it MC or MC's twin brother? When things start coming into light and misunderstanding arose, they actually talked to each other to discuss the matter. I will say though. FL's reaction towards finding out MC is a woman makes a lot of sense.FL was shocked and upset, but she is a woman who was brought up in a heteronormative society. She even said she was in love with MC's 'male form' and not her. But we all know she's in denial.
For those who are worried, she does accept MC in the end though.
Plus, it's endearing how the FL wanted MC to be the father of her child even after knowing MC is a woman. She even started gathering evidence from her memories that MC is indeed the father.
Su Yanxi - MC
Nan Jiyan - FL
Nan Yangu - MC and FL's child. Changes her name to Su Sian. Yangu becomes her nickname.
Shouchang King - MC's father. Harsh towards MC.
Tan Minzhi - MC's mother. Supports MC's marriage with FL initially but after MC's twin brother 'became healthier'...
Su Yanzong - MC's cousin. Shouchang King is Yanzong's uncle. Also a woman crossdressing as a man. Doesn't seem like MC is aware though.
Liu Yi - Yanzong's wife. Knows her husband is a woman and they are very lovey-dovey.
Su Yanhuai - MC 's twin brother. s*umbag.
Gu Sanniang - the one who Yanhuai slept with five years ago. Though Yanhuai thinks she slept with MC.
