Su Ran, a music prodigy, woke up transmigrated into a book.

At that point in time, the main story arc in the book had already been completed. As a villainess female supporting character, not only did she need to take over the original owner’s pitiful life in poverty, she also gained an instant son right at his rebellious period.

Ten or so more years from then, the son would turn into a twisted, evil villain. He would appear in one of the extra chapters to pick on the male and female lead’s children.

Each character has their own motivation. Of course it depends on the other if they would forgive them. Su Ran was definitely a good mother now and Su Han could forgive her. But raising a child is no easy task she could either abort the child or raise it but since the plot came from a novel, Su Han lived and he was not raised well that was why he became a Villain.

I do not have any complaint for now since I am enjoying the story. What... more>> the author says, that's how it will go. Don't rationalize into it too much you'll go crazy. <<less

I just realized (I checked this novel's MTL chapters and compared it with the latest). As Im a pauper, the available translated chapters haven't even reached half of the novel orz.

Translator san basically divided the main chapters into 2-4 subchapters so to anyone who was confused why the novel had already been completed in 100 chaps but the available translated chaps exceeded it, that's the reason why. Just a heads up because I was confused at the start haha.

BTW GUD JOB KUDOS TO TRANSLATOR-SAN. Willing to wait for the succeeding... more>> chapters because I cannot MTL... my eyes and brain, they burn QAQ and the translation is so gud that I must temper thyself and wait (can't say the same to my hands reaching my wallet tho 🥲)

AND TO AUTHOR-SAN AS WELL ~ (≧▽≦) /~ I LUV THIS NOVEL 😍 it's smooth and I like the way plotholes (or typical cliches?) are even mentioned by MC haha. I ESPECIALLY LUV the FL and son's interaction here~ Very tsundere ☺️ And Fl's just very cool and calm but adorable 😌💯💯💯. Love the pacing as well✨ it didn't stretch things out but it's also not too fast. Just right 🤤 <<less

What a great novel! I read so many Chinese novels but I have never given five stars to any of them. This novel is so good. There are a lot of novels that have a good start like this one but the plot became rushed in the middle or the end, unlike this one. I liked the FL and the ML so much. The FL’s son is so pitiful in his past life. Thankfully he has a good life now. I like his relationship with his parents so much. He... more>> is the best kid/teen in all novels.

in this world, the ML worked so hard until Su Han called him dad but when Su Han from the other world came and return, he called the ML from the other world dad so easily because of the ML from this world which I find so unfair 😂😭

Okay this story may not be much on dramatic romance but it was a fun read. MC is actually quite easy going and was just wanted to avoid any main characters in the novel she transmigrated into. Of course that was not the case and she would have encounters one after another.

The most amusing part of the story would be MC's motherhood ideas about her 'son' and also the interaction between ML & her son. ML seems to be super OP so there's nothing much he can't handle and of... more>> course this makes MC life problem easy to handle. MC is a bit dense when it comes to understanding ML's intention towards her but it made for an amusing read. <<less

The story is very cute, I love mother and son interaction.

It's ok if there is no romance in my opinion. There are some dark part since her past was a mess though.

How do I formulate this? Hm... The novel was an okay read. There weren't any moments that were exciting or full of suspense. No face-slapping either. But I did find myself smiling to myself from time to time due the interactions between father and son.

The "antagonists" didn't seem to play much of a role as they faded into the background pretty easily and quickly. The FL barely got into contact with any of them and just did her own thing while the ML basically covered the sky for her. The... more>> son was a stubborn little tsundere, could have imagined him with blond hair and pigtails if he wasn't a boy. But he did learn to tone down his tsundereness towards the end.

Apropos the end, it got a bit boring after the barely there Su family antagonist arc was over. At least we got to read about the end of the og book in the extras which was nice. <<less

Had a great start and a good finish. There wasn't a lot of face slapping or drama, and the ending (final few chaps) had a weird unexpected but okay twist to it. My only issue is that I had went into it hoping for a mother son bonding novel but it quickly left that plot line and went rocket speed to the ending and the romance... I would have found Su Ran's change in demeanor and the relationships formed more believable/better if we didn't press 2X on speed.

I'm giving it 5 stars because the decent femme MC made the whole ride a pretty refreshing read. The reader is able to sympathise with the highs and the lows of her situation, although, mostly my main gripe with the series is how the very last chapter just made go??? That's it?????? That's how the whole story is resolved?????? There's possibly a lot of things I've missed because I did read it through MTL, but really if one can just

ignore c99 & c100, and try not to think too much of how passive the whole plot has been, then I think the book would be a much easier read. The family is adorable, and the father-son relationship had its hilarious moments. I guess what I just wasn't satisfied with were the leftover holes in the plot, and how rushed (I'm thinking by this point, the writing must've turned to fanservice) it turned out to be : (I don't discourage anyone from picking this up though! And huge thanks to the awesome translators over at Fuyu Neko for picking up this project. I think I'll come back and reread it once it's been 'finished'.
