I mtl up until the latest chapter. Earlier chapter gives a vibe this is just another cute story, but the only thing that cute in this story is the MC in my opinion.

This story is a more like world building stuff, where MC meets various people, live in various places, interacted with various races, and discover a lot of things (like the truth about her ability, etc). The adventure tag really fits this story.

At first it seems a bit simplistic, and the "they say my sister's the miko but I'm probably the miko" is repeated quite a lot to the point of becoming a running gag, but it's fairly well written and the worldbuilding is much more complex than it seems at first glance.

One thing to note in particular is that this isn't a pure feel-good vindication story of an overpowered MC who gets whatever they want without any sacrifices. But instead, it's a realistic world with reasonably egoistic characters, and bad things... more>> do happen and can't always be averted or wished away.

If I had one major complaint it would be that her being abandoned by her parents wasn't reasoned properly. Her twin sister is more beautiful and so she gets to starve and be sent into a dangerous forest when the rest of the family moves up in society? That much resentment just doesn't make sense. All they have to justify that is that she's not as pretty as her sister and doesn't cry (because being the miko saves her from most circumstances that would cause her to cry, but doesn't seem to directly affect human behaviour towards her).

Her parents are supposed to be somewhat regular people, so it doesn't make sense for them to just send their own child to its death, regardless of how much they favour the other.

Other than that flawed premise, it's a pretty good read. <<less

Just plain bad. The writing was unappealing. The characters were unappealing and boring. The premise was extremely difficult to believe and the plot was exceptionally predictable.

Bottom line: If you want a Cinderella story there's much better out there

I wont rate it but it seems cute. The MC is just adorable and the prologue and the first chapter makes me want to read her journey to find her place and happiness.

I like this story, it's cute, and it's got an interesting direction. Some people have mentioned that there's political and world building that takes a heavy role, and they're not technically wrong, but all of that is done in a way that makes even the more serious issues a little too cutesy.

I have some complaints though, and while they're not serious, I think they detract from the overall story. The first is just what I mentioned above. While the world building is interesting, and the politics are engaging, they're all... more>> done from the perspectives of the younger characters (from about the age of 7 up to the age of 14 so far), and so the writer takes the time to give them an almost childish perspective. This would work, if these characters had thoughts that were closer to their actual ages (I understand that a lot of them are forced by circumstance to be more mature, but sometimes it's too much). An 11-13 year old shouldn't be capable, even with the best tutors, of being as intelligent and quick-witted as an expert politician, while at the same time expressing a naivety of someone closer to 7-9. The internal monologues don't match the decision making and circumstances that many of these kids are doing/going through. We do get the adults' perspectives from time to time, but those are rare occurences, and while they're an interesting take, they aren't always full of useful information, or they lead to my second "problem" with the story....

The chapters are almost too short. It's fun to have little bite-sized chapters, especially when things are being fluffy, but when things get serious, there's just too little room to put in anything that can give the reader a better perspective of the situation. Then the relevant chapters of information and intrigue are broken apart by the fluffy chapters in what feels like an unnatural way. Sometimes the reader will get two to three small chapters of progress in the over-arching story with one to two chapters of fluff, and sometimes you'll get one chapter of progress, and six chapters of fluff. In my opinion (and I mean that literally, everyone has different standards for what they want in a story), I think the story would benefit from a more rigid chapter structure, maybe something like 4-5 chapters of fluff, and 2-3 chapters of progress. At least something predictable and stable to move things at a steady pace instead of an inconsistent approach. It is a web-novel however, so that comes with an amateur writer experiencing developing their story. And I'm honestly happy with how they're improving (at least I think they are, it could be the translator too as I'm not a fan of reading MTL, and I can't read Japanese fluently enough). It's why I rated this a 4 stars.

As for my main criticism, and it feels like the later chapters are getting better at not doing this (from about chapter 200 on maybe?), it's that things are often repeated too much. We get dialogue between characters that outlines things well enough, but then we get the MC, Lerunda, repeating what was just said in her thoughts. I'm not talking about a good summary and her thoughts on it either, but her just wording it in a very slightly different way, sometimes even rambling about it. It ends up making some chapters be more than half, or even three quarters, longer than they should be. I think maybe it's done to show the immaturity of Lerunda's character, and how she struggles to understand the more mature concepts, but I think maybe there could be a better, less wasteful, way of showing that. To reiterate though, I feel like this problem is improving in later chapters, which makes me think of two possible reasons: 1. The writer is improving and getting better at understanding how to more clearly and concisely write a given part of the story. And/or 2. The writer is trying to show how the MC is maturing and understanding things around them in a better, and more mature, way.

I recommend giving this a read. You might enjoy the world-building, you might enjoy the fluff. Personally, I enjoy both and I look forward to how the writer develops in the future. <<less

It's cute but it's a bit repetitive. The translating isn't great either. I do like the different characters and their personalities. And the beastmen village is cool too. I almost cried at one point because the MC was telling her life story. I like the novel, but it feels really childish at some points too.

Usually these kind of stories tends to have reincarnation or just older MCs in general but this one just focuses on one pure kid. Larunda isn’t the best MC ever but I really liked her growth. As time went on she slowly starts to mature and learn more about the world she is in. And that’s my favorite part of this wn, growth, most characters experiences it. Ofc this... more>> novel isn’t perfect, I feel the chapters are too short and the switch between perspective is kind of jarring since one moment you will be chilling with Larunda then next moment there is a revolution. Some characters felt underdeveloped so they ended up feeling a little flat (maybe it was fixed in the LN idk). The pacing is really slow and due to that things happens so slowly that sometimes it felt nothing is happening at all but I didn’t mind. Overall it’s a pretty enjoyable pass time read, chill story, enjoyable characters, and a really solid translation. <<less

Maybe this rating won't hold as the story goes on, but so far I've really enjoyed reading it. There are a lot of adorable fluffy moments, but there clearly is a plot being developed. It seems to have an interesting and well thought out fantasy world too, so I'm looking forward to more chapters.

Up until now it's a very cute and fluffy story. The MC is a sweet 7 years old longing for love and warmth, it's a bit early to judge the plot but for now it's pretty nice and simple.

The main character is boring. Other than the very start, everyone likes her and she likes/loves everyone and has no grudge or hate for anyone, not towards her parents who abandoned her, not towards people who killed her new friends/family, not towards her sister and not towards the village that ab*sed her.

She is a saint, and she is boring.

On the other hand the world-building is much, much more interesting. We get some looks towards a princess that is seeing how her country may fall, a full rebellion, etc.

a great plotline unfourtunately its dragged on as if its a slice of life novel for a middle schooler. Too much filler regarding the FL's simple interactions while nothing much happens. I kept reading, hoping it would get interesting but it didn't : (
