the FL can give you second hand embarrassment but when it all gets resolved we can see that she was actually not delulu and desperate (maybe a little bit), she was actually right.

We also have the ML pov and it actually adds to the story. I find the way the author did his relationship with his father/brother pretty interesting. We usually get outright physical ab*se and some pretty messed up stuff, but I find what he experienced pretty messed up and frustrating as well.

Also, at the end of the story ML actually abandons his title and position and permanently seals his holy power so he can be with the FL in the new kingdom she decides to go to pursue her career.

He's basically pretty rich now and plans to be a house husband for her. Cook her meals (He's been making her cookies since they were young and enjoyed watching her eat the things he cooked, even though she didn't know he made them), make her work lunches, take care of the house affairs and give her massages. He acknowledges how smart she actually is and how in the holy kingdom people who aren't holy knights/priest/saintess etc. Are not appreciated. So even though he could've kept his power and his title and convince her to get married and stay there, he wanted to go with her instead to the new country where she can make a career and be recognized for her talents. He's actually very rich after he sells his assets that he gained while he was a holy knight and investing everything, but she doesn't know that, and I think it's pretty cute how she says that she'll take responsability for him and give hin a good life. He loves her and shows her affection all the time after they get together, not the type to remain stoic.

I also liked that he cut off his relationshipwoth his family, since I didn't really like them. Is he perfect? No. But he actually liked the FL all this time.

and unlike in other novels the FL actually knew the ML and what his actions mean very well (even though others thought she was delusional and crazy) and the ML knew her as well.

Also, the smut was very hot and I kinda wish we got more of it. I really liked their relationship at the end, they were very cute and the ML thought a lot about the FL amd their future. Idk maybe lately we get such shitty ML and stories that my standars have lowered or smth, but I found him to be a nice ml

Not to even mention he barred her -manipulated her acceptance results and the scope of the exam- from passing the subjugation team exam, even tho she had administrative qualities but no combat abilities for her "safety" is enough to disqualify him as ML. He sure can get worried but should've told her that he didn't want her injured, or seriously gave her advice to persue her own strong points but noooo. For full 4 years! 4YEARS!! mah girl kept trying for it and he never actually speaks to her abt it is outrageous! Why you ask? Why did he avoid her? because he gets an erection when he sees mc!?? makes me mad cry how insane that is....

Add that just so when she avoided him he smh magically doesn't feel its dangerous anymore, let's her pass and join the monster subjugation, puts her in actual potential danger just so he can questionably r*pe her??? Fk u mofo!!
