376 chapters felt very long. The novel has good concept and the ending was wrapped up very nicely. There is good and bad. The good is that MC is proactive in terms of bed matters which is refreshing to read and the novel had a good structure. The middle 200chapters felt very draggy and there r too many unnecesary fillers that weren't interesting enough to sit through. ML was way too jaded-like a robot-vr passive almost, until he's back to real world. The special abilities stuff also wasn't plotted really... more>> well so it felt like plastered ornaments.. I had to skip n skim n wanted to drop but I'm glad I didn't coz the part where he returned to real world was a real treat- I'm really satisfied- just wished the midsection weren't so draggy.. It could've been done well with 200 chapters but 376 is just way too many. Would I return to read the parts i've skipped? Nope. But its suitable for those who didn't like something that won't let you do anything else for 2 wks.. Degenerate s*ave ab*ses tyrant n silent lover did that to me- ruined me solid for many many days w/o sleep. This one is relaxing n not too serious. If it got draggy for u, don't drop, just skip to the last arc-abt C361. <<less

Et la boucle est bouclée. The all novel tied up well. No lose ends. All the apocalyptic damnei have read so far have all been satisfying for me. Although zombies, power and nucleus (here called core) are commun subjects, each novel has its own focus and legend. This one was the action happen inside a novel. The author uncovers plots he wasn't aware of himself. He also gives the zombies a voice. He sympathizes with their condition. Finally, there is a tied between his life in the novel and his... more>> life and reality. This is also the third novel where zombies have origins in the cultivation and immortal realm. After chap 160 I googled and find a website that have the rest translated in MTL. It wasn't so bad. Anyway, I do recommend it. <<less

At first I hesitated to read bcoz of the mpreg tag but it turns out pretty well! My favorite ❤️ can't help but to reread it again! Can I marry the author (empress) and the translators/editors (concubines) for being so kind to my heart and soul. Such a blessing.. Oh both MC and ML is straight at the beginning, and their slow burn romance is very interesting..

Really intriguing so far! I normally wouldn't read a novel about the zombie apocalypse but this is super cute. I'm just hoping that that the new group continues past where the previous one left off ૮ (꒦ྃ⌑꒦ྃ) ა. Right now, I'm dying to find out what happens but I don't want to butcher my experience with the MTL translations...

If I was seriously going to rate this, it'd probably be 3/5, but since I was just casually reading this and enjoyed it, I'll give it a 4/5.

Overall, it is an okay novel. The characters (protagonists) are kind of OP and have cool powers, while the antagonists are often sort of nonsensically s*upid and just court death the entire time. The main antagonist was sort of expected. In this novel, you often can predict what will happen next, so there's not much of a surprise when something happens.

Something I want... more>> to nitpick about is how sometimes a problem will be mentioned at one point, but we only get an update on that problem sometime later. Sometimes we don't see certain characters for a while, and then they're mentioned again after a long time. I suppose it makes sense since we're following Mu Yifan's story very closely, so we only know what Mu Yifan knows. If Mu Yifan doesn't know what's going on, then we won't know either! It makes sense but it just seems a bit odd. While reading this, it didn't really bother me as much since I tend to just take things as they come and then think about it later, so you might not care either.

(I do like the premise of MYF being transmigrated into his book's villain character--I have a soft spot for those kinds of stories, like s*um Villain and what not. It doesn't last for the entire novel, but for a good portion of it, we get to see MYF being distressed over his identity as the villain, which I think is fun.)

This story has a lot of subplots that might be difficult to remember since, as mentioned before, some things are mentioned then dropped for a while. It'll be difficult to read this while reading other things, since there's a lot to keep track of (characters, plot points, etc).

Unexpectedly, I quite enjoyed the novel, and even got teary-eyed at one point. Though, don't worry, this novel is HE and all problems are easily resolved! Relatively. It did seem to rush a bit at the end (it felt more like a summary of what happens next) but since it's HE I'll forgive it. <<less

OMG this is currently my favorite novel! I totally agree with Moonlit’s review. Don't skip because of those two reasons. Once you have started, don't give up and finish reading all chapters. This story will make you laugh heartily, cry bitterly and curse happily. My Number One Zombie Danmei.

5 chapters in and the translation was horrible and I didn't understand anything, so I dropped it. But after a while I really kept wondering why people kept saying its funny and good when first 5 chapters were totally meh. So I picked it up again and 2-3 chapters later, I was totally immersed into it and loved it. It was hilarious and cute af.

I totally loved the pregnancy reactions of MC. His coquettish behaviour and everyone else's reaction to his pregnancy too. This was my favourite part of the novel.

It remained really good till like near 100 chapters and then it kinda went bland tho the cute romance and hilarious comedy moments were still there sometimes.

Being a apocalyptic novel, I was hoping for some action and hype but there's wasn't much except family problems and flirting from 100 to 280 smth. But after then, due to continuous action, my wish was fulfilled. Then after everything was settled down, Feels to hit my heart appeared.

Who would've thought about Mu Yi Fan dying on his wedding. His death was so brutal

i cried a damn lot and I'll remember this as one of the most emotional scene in the novels I've read.

I loved the Reality Arc. Loved how it all worked out in the end.A lot of important answers were given but still some were left unanswered though that doesn't decrease the appeal of its ending.

I loved our MC. He was hilarious.I'm so in love with his honest and straightforward nature with no BS. He never shy away from what his heart told him to do. ML was good too.I loved his possessive and putting MC before anything. But he didn't have any redeeming feature? He kinda seemed typical ML type.

Idk if people will hate me for this or not but I liked the villainous Mu Yi Fan too like I know he was vicious and all but can't that all be blamed on the way he was raised? Well, I'm not sure because it wasn't stated in the novel but it seemed like it wasn't his fault.

In the end, he chose not to kill his father and his father also memtioned that the way he turned out to be was due to his negligence.

Personally I loved his personality of being quite and making people feel pressure just by his gaze too.

All in all it was a good novel, but it was kinda stretched and a little bland in the middle, like some of the middle chapters were a bit boring. However, Most chapters were good so I enjoyed it very much!!! <<less

THIS IS A DAMN GOOD BOOK!

It's not as dark as other apocalypse books. Actually, there's nothing dark in this book to me.

This is a combination of adventure, action, romance, fantasy, and a little face-slapping.

I think the plot is well-developed. As for someone who said there're many plot holes, I think it's because the story was most focus in the main character only (Mu YiFan). Others, even ML were only narrated (well, ML still has his own POV, but not many). So things like how ML got his power (s), the... more>> bead, the space were not explained clearly.

We've side couple here. Sadly, it's only said in passing. And even in real world, who exactly is ZJC? I forgot if MC had mentioned him or not at the beginning...

As for the translation... I'm being honest here, it's not that good (Nastriumden). Subject (he, she, it) sometimes not correct. Negative and positive sentences, some are also not correct (based on my understanding). Some nouns and structure of sentences are not really match. Other than that, it's acceptable for me (at least I can still understand and it's enough).

Even though the translation is not perfect, the book is enjoyable! Can't imagine if I can read it in its native language. Must be more enjoyable *happy_sigh

Overall, it's a really good book! If you've no problem w/ the translation (as I stated above), I think it's worth it to read this one. <<less

I Love this novel sooo much! I love all the characters especially the lead characters Mu Yi Fan and Zhan Bei Tian their family and also their cute son Mu Qing Tian! The end is satisfying. ??

This was interesting, there’s moments of comedy, sometimes I feel sorry for some characters and wonder why MC had to go and write out their life like that... then there’s tragic moments that drew tears. Still it was a happy end, MC is kinda happy and laid back type of guy... I feel like ML was the usually cold-faced loyal dog type tho.

Worth reading, even though the translation can use more editing, there were moments of confusion since the words were not consistent sometimes and often changing... likely it was... more>> due to mtl using different translations and the mtl editor not keeping track. <<less

At first I was hesitant to read this novel because there's so many chapter (376) to read it all (because I usually read the novel one chapter each every time its update) and then I saw the name of the author (Jin Yuanbao) ? I love 2 another novel by Jin ?

So I gave this a chance and.... I am not regret it ?

Although there's some error in the translation but its still understandable.

I won't deny this novel has some plot holes and stuff but it was super enjoyable. I MTLed this a while back so it's nice to see it's finally translated so I don't have to suffer that again if I want to reread lmao. I absolutely love the characters and how they developed and their relationships, and I loved the ending a lot too. The plot kind of dragged a little in the middle, but the beginning and ending were pretty good. Oh gosh I loved this story so much!!! It really kept me on the edge of my seat!!

Sometimes it might've felt like it was dragging the issues a bit, but I think it took a realistic approach to them, instead of just the usual face slapping. The main couple is great, although I do sometimes get annoyed at the ML.

The ending was curious, I'm not sure I liked it all the way, but it did gave the story closure!

I have read it till the end so I will mention few good points FOR ME EVERY WRITER IS PRECIOUS.

This was good to start with funny, MC and ML was good until 150 chapter. Later I was just trying to understand the story. Ending was good for some people but for me I still don't know what kind of ending was needed for me. But it is still ok for me it's (HE)

Jokes was good for few times. Too long and translation was really bad which caused confusion time... more>> to time. Again thanks for translating this. Since I have already completed it would not say bad things but I am not very fond of this work. I would not recommend this to anyone if you are looking for any solid work mpreg ok fine go and look but nothing so good or too fluffy for me it was too boring. For me HS, GDC, HOB, PEL, LMW, Antelope and Nightwolf, NSTB these are good for me but I also appreciate this too. <<less
