If you want to read something like that does the job a thousand times better, I'd recommend

The author seems to be going for existential horror and failing. There are portions of the st0ry that are obviously meant to be gruesome, shocking and horrifying but are told (emphasis told) in a flat monotone and in terms of recollection. This dissociates the reader from the story.

On a personal note, my overall emotional response was eh, there's so much better.

It's a bit meh, I understand since it's just a oneshot but there aren't any build up or any moments you can relate to hence there's not much thing you can feel or associate to while reading it.

Also the biggest reason why I even wrote this review is-- it seems another translation team has mixed up a completely different chapter with the same name with the original being the Yandere japanese oneshot-- and the other one being a chinese translation work.

There wasn't enough of the story to like or dislike. And the pov switch made no sense at all. I agree with the one who said that a certain other novel is much better. It was okay, but should have been fleshed out longer and better to make more of an impression.
