I liked the story, the FL's world is about her younger sister, she's her number one priority no matter what! She's just too attached that she's afraid to let of go her. I'm not going to talk about more about the story. All I can say is that I am able to complete this novel in two days! Because that's how interesting the story for me. Lol

Here's a bit of a spoiler for the ML though.

Based on my observation, He's so good looking that everyone is interested in him (based on the novel) Lol! He's unsociable, cunning, and manipulative arrogant cold blooded POSSESIVE man. "He'll be like "oh this woman is interesting" which is very common to every novel you have read.. But, he'll be insulting her, like really insult the FL and you'll hate him so bad. He will call the FL naïve and s*upid in his thoughts. And he has a "weird hobby" is what the FL calls it. You'll be surprised once you get to that part of the story

She's smart, beautiful, and submissive to ML in the beginning because she doesn't want to be thrown away "get tired of" by the ML. She will runaway with her sister! Hahaha I've waited for this part because I saw this tag from RIDI! Looking for the reason why would she runaway and what triggers it and then when that happened, I was like yes it's time to runaway indeed! Haha, and the reunion! You will hate the ML and FL during this part it's like 2-3 chapters I think and it's kind of frustrating but eventually they were able to resolve it.

If you're a fan of classic tropes, this novel will hit the spot. The male lead is your quintessential cold and powerful figure, while the female lead endures her share of suffering—yet, IM NOT COMPLAINING! The story's charm lies in its simplicity. The plot flows smoothly without getting bogged down by unnecessary fluff, which is a big plus for readers who prefer a straightforward narrative.

That said, one glaring weakness is the way the translation is handled. It's frustrating when translators divide chapters arbitrarily. This novel, for instance, has 138 chapters... more>> in the original, but the translator splits them into two parts (i think?), making it difficult to track the story or find your place if you want to read the original. To make matters worse, the translation has been abandoned, leaving readers stranded mid-story. It's a shame because this novel deserves better! Sigh...

Edit (15/02/2025) : The novel has been picked up by Eternalune, and the translation is stellar. I checked out the other novels translated by the group, and they're just as high quality. Finally—a great story with an equally great translation! <<less

THIS is my FAVORITE novel. I always have it open in one tab on my phone and check it every single day.

I love the main characters and there is actually plot to get you interested into the smut scenes.

I’m not a great reviewer so all I can say is read this! I am incredibly picky and I love this. I would honestly pay a lot of money for a physical completed copy of this book.

I like their relaxed relationship. The heroine's life is difficult. But she tried to stand up for herself and repay those who helped her. Although the main character is cold at first But I also have that personality in this story of him that gradually cares and pays attention.

Really not My cup of tea...

almost 60 chapters and quite nothing happened so far in the relationship between the MCs.

The FL is Nice but goes with the flow of the ML. I prefer strong charaters with their own personnalities. No real conversation between the 2. the ML is just a d*ck toward the FL and she still loves him 😮‍💨.

Even the smut parts are not to My taste, its written without détails and I could only feel the violence of the dialogues of the ML. There was no romantic parts... more>> while describing the smut.

So I decided to stop reading this novel. <<less

This is definitely one of my favorite novels! The premise is unique and refreshing (finally, a story that isn't isekai or regression!), with a FL you want to root for. Liv Rhodes has probably become one of my favorite leads; she's clever, determined, cautious, and sensible, but always does the best she can for herself and her sick sister. She's a tutor, but in trying to make ends meet, she does a little bit of nude modeling on the side, though, she has strictly done so under the condition that... more>> her face is never revealed... until one little slip-up changes everything.

The ML is an interesting character in his own right as well. He's a handsome, unsociable, eccentric Marquis--who has some secrets of his own. He takes interest in Liv purely by chance (and because of that secret, which I won't spoil). Their meeting has got to be one of the most memorable encounters I've read about (it's in the synopsis). He becomes her sponsor, sort of, and thus the tentative relationship ensues. He's really blunt and not very nice (lol), but Liv can bite back, so their interactions are fun to read. It's even better when she finally starts to get comfortable around him, and boy does the s*xual tension run high.

Honestly the whole work reads like art, and the smut scenes are sensual, but there's the ever lingering tension behind the whole situation as Liv tries to navigate her new circumstances and tries to toe the line between maintaining her public image and the forbidden feelings budding for the man she knows is dangerous. <<less

The real summary so far: MC is a tutor for a rich family but isn't making enough money to pay for her sick sister's medication so she models nude for an artist she knows. She has a disagreement with the artist as she told him not to put her face in the painting because you know she could be fired if the rich family found out. Meanwhile ML is an art collector looking and nudes and sees one of her and comission for the artist to do another painting.

This isn't... more>> really a spoiler but MC and ML meet before at the rich family's house before he gets given the painting without her permission. She goes to beg him to get it back and he agrees as long as he gets another in return. The only thing is he then wants to see how the painting is made as well.

Now to the review I am only ranking it mid for now as there isn't another chapters to really decide if it will be worth the read but so far both translators are doing good. The MC mentions she has an inferiority complex but is other wise nice if a bit anxious. The only thing I really know about the ML so far is he is cold.

(Spoiler) He also seems to hint at her nude art before having seen the art he had commissioned so maybe he already knew of her I don't know but it is interesting. <<less

It's ok. 3.5 to be more exact. The reasons are as follows...

It has a pretty neat, straightforward plot. You can infer it from the summary already. We have an aristocratic ML and a middle-class FL, who, unfortunately, is at the mercy of the ML's decisions. She has her motivations for her decisions though, her sickly younger sister, whom she strives to support. Then we have some antagonists who seem to share the same personalities I've seen in the villains of other works. In other words, cliche type of villain. Whiny,... more>> but not too threatening. The pace is also quite slow yet steady. At c168, I'm still looking for elements that would have heightened my emotions as a reader.

At the very least, I'm looking forward for further romance development between the two leads. That's all there is to it. I'd recommend this to those looking for a breather from works that require mental and emotional investments. See this work when you're just simply looking to pass the time. <<less

I haven’t read the novel yet because I don’t want to spoil it. But the manwha is very interesting, I love the art and everything but the male lead creeps me out like he is just really eerie even though he is really really hot.
