The synopsis interest me so even though the novel is not all translated yet I read it in mtl. And ola, it's so good and the interactions of characters are good an reasonable. I even cried during the MC and ml's separation. This one is good and I'm going to to read it again when the novel is translated.

I really liked this one, so am glad it got on this list. This novel blends so many different tropes that it has something for everyone: sickly characters, weak to strong, sick to well, Chinese Herbal Medicine v Intergalactic Spiritual power, modern v interstellar, Power and family struggles, betrayals, long distance and online romance, Royalty, alchemy, a pandemic, and more. The MC and ML are both interesting and enjoyable characters to learn about, there is always a lovely, slightly dark sarcastic sense of humor and a comedic undertone despite the... more>> inevitable angst in the story, plenty of banter, angst, and misunderstandings, true love, and more. There's a little bit for everyone to enjoy. I didn't get bored with this novel, which is hard to accomplish. I recommend this if you're looking for something slightly different and enjoyable!

Fluffy and sweet story. The beginning is a little slow since the MC is 14 years old. Not spicy, just heartwarming helping and advice from ML.

Then the middle part aka the arc where they meet is why I rated it 4 star.

MC somehow transmigrate over the MLs world, actually Earth exists just in a very far star system that isn't usually reachable by ML's world. MC spends some time as a servant before enrolling into a school with divine powers while meeting other people and there's a class divide of rich and poor, divine powers and those without. MC has a golden finger of being a medical doctor and solving an epidemic for the ML. It's heart breaking because MC passes away in this body and returns to his earth body but ML finds a way to reach Earth and they get married.

I think they could have focused more on the relationship and less on other things but it's fine since it's a sweet and fluffy read.

Very cute read. Got me engaged from chap 1. MC and ML is so sweet too 😚 though I wish the ending will not be so rushed. What happened to the 2nd prince and his mum? I'm not sure if I missed it or it just wasn't mentioned.

But I really do recommend this for a very cute slice of life read. Switch off your brain and just enjoy

oh gosh. I read it the first time mostly through MTL and I am rereading the translation on Sinu (who I want to thank briefly. really need to convey my gratitude for making such a nice transition of this story, I really appreciate it!).

a brief summary first:

romance: 5/5

worldbuilding: 1.5/5

TLDR: it's worth it for the wholesome romance. but if you can't stand big plot holes and worldbuilding holes then I would put it aside... but it's a great slow burn romance if that's what you're looking for lol.

To expand:

I had a painful time reading the first 3/4 of this novel because of how many plot holes and WB holes it has. sooo many times I have to just pause and face palm because author what is this? oh my god.... and I generally don't analyze things too much while I read webnovels lol

Well, I read this novel twice because of the romance. first, it's sooo rare to find a danmei where the two leads are the exact same age, bar a few months. it's also rare for both the leads to be such huge green flags in every way. it's a super slow burn story... so if you're looking for a romance that is officially kicked off sooner than I won't recommend this, but the relationship between the MC and ML, despite not becoming "official" for a while, won't seem like there is something missing.

for one, the ML has really great IQ and EQ. so, very emotionally intelligent. and the MC is super honest. so, in the few moments where there is not great communication, the ML catches on at some point and points it out, or it gets resolved on its own rather quickly after some time - there's never a point where you want to test your hair out from frustration due to miscommunication from the MC and ML (all of that frustration comes from plot holes but more on that later).

honestly, it's just so so cute, watching the two of them grow up together and be there for each other. I absolutely love watching the maturation of the MC. Juan Mei is just so so cute, and also so so wise. I love watching him grow and mature.

it's rare for me to find a story with a well done slow burn that doesn't trigger my impatience so I am willing to put up with all of the plot holes but oh boy I just need to rant.

nothing major but just in case.

first I want to say, author... do you not know that space is a vacuum? at one point there is a battle in space and the author said that the ML's side had wind mages that can detect the location of things in space but when I read that I thought I myself if physics had changed because there IS NO AIR IN SPACE!! I face palmed so hard irl after reading that because I thought it was basic knowledge that people know, but I guess not? no offense to anyone in particular but...

also, the language! obviously two people from two completely different planets would have different languages but WHY can the MC and ML understand each other right off the bat? it's easy to explain it away, too...

not to mention, how is it possible for planet that focuses so much more on magic and connection to nature and basically has a medieval, feudal society and infrastructure to have super advanced technology? like, at one point author says they import their warships, which makes sense, but it doesn't explain all the other tech... like you emphasized how much more they care about magic rather than technology but if that's the case where is the research facility that should've been the one to create all this other high tech you have?? author never explains it, only the warships lol.

also, it's impractical and makes no sense for Stan Star to be supposedly the most powerful in the universe just because they have magic and other places don't... like all it takes is a few ultra high tech nukes from more technologically advanced planets to change the pecking order but yet... it never happens lol. logic is like... making a fireball appear with your mind is scarier than a missile that can level a country lol.

also!! they have such high tech but DONT KNOW WHAT MATH IS?? like how does that make any sense? maybe my imagination is limited but for the supposedly most powerful planet in the universe to not even know what math is, is just bonkers to me, and I hate math! lmao.

there are more but those have been bothering me the most hahaha. honestly it's not that deep. at the end of the day, this isn't the sort of novel people should have super high expectations for, because it's here for a fun time and not for a good worldbuilding time! because genuinely good worldbuilding is very damn hard and takes a lot of time, so in a way, I can understand why the author doesn't really spend a lot of time on it.

oh gosh. I promise I'm not saying that in a back-handed way! but good worldbuilding takes years to develop and sometimes you just want to write a romance where a cute earth boy falls for an alien prince with magical powers. and love this story for that exact reason! because the romance, in my opinion, is worth it! <<less

This story is exceptional! I really recommend reading it. It often made me cry though, especially in the early stages. Some people may be dissatisfied with how the story progresses or some characters or some insignificant plot holes, however I don't mind this novel at all even if I usually nitpick everything. I was almost tempted to give it 5 stars but ended up only giving 4 at the end

I actually found this novel so good... When I was just starting, I didn't expect to face so many twist and turns along the way. I literally cried at one eve though I know nothing will happen.

For the plot, it's actually a mix of different elements. There's a feeling of supernatural, sci-fi, slice of life, gaming, interstellar, traditional, modern times, politics, etc. It was pretty refreshing to read. The build up at the start was pretty realistic except for the sci-fi in the mix.

Both of them had a major character development along the way.

MC grew up suffering and staying at the hospital most of his life. After going out, he was pretty naive but have unique ideas. He's pure and have a clear thoughts and goals in his mind. However, as time pass by, he actually starts to mature. He knows how to keep calm and face hardships head-on. Considering the fact that he was a little cry baby when the story first started, his maturity was pretty obvious (especially after he went to a different world). Also he was able to accept things with a more open mind after experiencing different hardships.

ML on the other hand, also went through a major change along the story. He was originally a cold, ruthless, prince who have trust issues bcs of the things happening around him. He doesn't trust anyone and thinks that others approaches him with hidden motives. He gets along with people on the basis of their usefulness to him. Afterwards though, he started to learn to open up. He softens and became more open to people who he gets along with. He became more expressive especially in front of MC. He also starts to learn to tease and insult in a joking way.

The story itself was well developed. So far, I think it's pretty unique as I haven't encountered a similar story as of now. Also there's not so much toxicity in this story. It's actually pretty serious and background characters have their own personality and character development.

I wouldn't say that this story was in any way perfect, but it was a really good read and worth checking out. <<less

It's a very good story

I love how MC and ML both are the lights in each other life. Their relationship growth is so warm.

I think MC is the best part of this novel. His character, his view, and his deeds are all so heartwarming. ML is not falling far behind, actually. He is the best type of ML there is. Understanding, loyal, somewhat pitiful, and very responsible.

However, the end is a bit far-fetched. How can interstellar travel to unknown planet be so easy to do. Not really much logic in... more>> the science and medicine. But it's all fun so a minor thing imo.

Go try it, and you'll find that after reaching the end, all this novel leaves you is that feeling of warmth. <<less

so I read this without seein) it's shounen ai and guess what I finished it in a day. I'm so picky of sa and I prefer yaoi but dang this reminds me of the hetero version adaptation the one with constellations Oh My Emperor, the girl got transmigrated to another world tho it's not alien its same same scenario at most. All in all I definitely cried so it's worth it.

This story is fluffy.. HE!

The plot is slow paced for the romance because the writer want to tell about MC progress and it way too long when the romance began. Maybe some the reader will be bored when you didnt like the slow paced plot.

Actually I found rather some unthinkable when MC goes to ML planet but later the writer will explain why it can be happen.

Like this story but I really think the ending make me a little dissapointed even tho HE lolol

This is a lovely novel that should be considered as a "Must Read."

The relationship that the MC and the ML have is healthy. They support each other in times of need and the parents-in-law are reasonable. Honestly, I truly wished that there were more chapters. It would have been even more interesting if the MC and ML found a way to be able to have blood-related children. Like, some kind of magic that would let the MC get pregnant. Or, their sciences would advance and they would be able to... more>> have test-tube babies made using an artificial womb or something.

But yeah, overall this was a good read to pass the time. <<less

This so so good!😭😭😭 the chapt 1-50 I abt their interact in online chatting thin the 60-100 is abt the MC journey! Then 100-42 is abt covid 😁😁 really epidemic is everywhere!😡😡

It's really good!😭 u will cry and laugh and annoying!😁😁

I also like the old emperor he Don't care if his son won't mary the concubine or concort.. Bcs he know royal child is not good likes his sons who fight everyday for throne + the harem😑

I don't have words this is the best online dating novel I like this story very much how both of our characters grew together and mei mei such a cute person he was and their friends they are the best and mei mei is family is the best both of them are going through hard time but overcomed with the help of each other their I am so happy for them. One of my all time fav novel ❤️

Some notes:

-At the start, it may seem that the ML is years older than the MC, but the two are actually the same age.

-MC is more innocent and naïve in the beginning, but he will mature as the story goes on.

-Near the middle of the plot, MC will transmigrate into the ML's world.

-Some side characters catch feelings for the MC, but MC is mostly unaware.

-There are some plot inconsistencies, but they are minor; you won't find out unless you're paying close attention.

-Contrary to the title, the ML isn't an "alien." He's a human with "divine powers" from a different galaxy (I suppose you can consider him to be an alien if you want?).

its not often that I find a novel that I not only not speed read through but actually FINISHED.

10/10 storytelling, characterization of all the characters are *chef's kiss*, even the villains are fleshed out wonderfully; I feel like I can actually see then in front of my own eyes.

pick this up I implore you; it's a journey that you would enjoy all throughout

Not gonna talk about the plot and worldbuilding part but the romance was good!! Love the relationship between the MC and ML even though it was something like a slow burn cause even when they are not together, they are superrrrrr cute and sweet. Also, I love there were practocally no miscommunications between the MC and ML because they always talk things out and our ML has v high EQ so he is better in the communication and understanding aspect when it comes to the MC. Really chefs kiss!!

The plot... more>> wasn't that bad for me since I wasn't entirely reading this novel for its plot hahaha. So to me, its somewhat acceptable if I dont think too much about it. Close one eye and u'll gain some sweetness. <<less

I want my time back. The whole thing— from the dialogue, the characters, their interactions, the romance, the pacing, to the world building—is on par with something a 14 year old might write. I had a hard time taking anything this novel had to offer seriously.

I held on till the end in hopes there'd atleast be good romance (since that's what the premise makes you believe) but no. It's scattered in bits and pieces all over the novels amidst a convoluted hodgepodge of tragically s*upid dialogue and an overall boring... more>> plot. You have to dig through several chapters to get a small interaction btw the main characters. It's just not worth it. <<less
