In the second semester of sophomore year, Ji Su comforts a senior from the music club who was deceived by a s*umbag in an online romance. The senior, with tears in her eyes, begs Ji Su to help her get revenge.

Ji Su, bewildered: “Senior, I’m a guy.”

Senior, with a fierce look: “Precisely because you’re a guy, and because you’re more endowed than him, you have to make him understand the dangers of online dating!”

Ji Su: “…”

To help the senior get revenge, Ji Su adds the s*umbag on WeChat with a new account, racking his brains every day to chat with him. But no matter how many good morning and good night messages he sends, the s*umbag never replies.

Until one day, Ji Su sends a photo to the s*umbag. In the photo, he is wearing white shorts, revealing a slender and well-proportioned thigh.

This time, the s*umbag responds instantly: “Is that your leg in the photo?”

Ji Su discovers that the s*umbag senior has a leg fetish. The s*umbag frequently finds excuses to ask for more leg photos. To avoid revealing his gender, Ji Su buys skirts online and obediently sends leg photos.

The s*umbag’s cold demeanor changes, and he starts chatting proactively, buying Ji Su various pretty skirts, sending him tickets to his favorite concerts, and even sharing photos of his own six-pack abs and V-line.

Seeing the s*umbag getting more and more infatuated, Ji Su proposes to meet in real life, thinking his revenge plan is about to succeed. But to his surprise, the s*umbag turns out to be the law student heartthrob Gu Zhao, a 193 cm tall, aloof male god of A University, who is rumored to be a bit homophobic.

Ji Su panics and blocks Gu Zhao on WeChat, fearing the campus heartthrob will recognize him. However, the more he tries to avoid him, the more frequently they meet, and Gu Zhao’s gaze becomes increasingly inscrutable.

Later, Gu Zhao sits Ji Su on his lap, personally dressing him in a high-slit cheongsam, his tone ambiguous and dangerous: “Baby, why don’t you call me husband anymore?”

Jisu: “Husband, I was wrong, boohoo…”

A seemingly innocent yet seductive straight male submissive x a cold and scheming campus heartthrob who dotes on his ‘wife.’

1. The seme is not a true s*umbag.

2. The seme has a leg fetish, but only for the uke’s legs.

3. Both are straight (but not really) and bend for each other in this sweet romance.

4. All plot logic serves the romance.

5. An indulgent work by the author, stop reading if not interested.

6. Common trope of online dating mishaps, please refrain from critiquing the plot in the comments.

I read this book, and overall, it's not bad. I liked it. It's quite typical and formulaic for its genre, but the author has a knack for taking romance and flirtation to a whole new level, making you just revel in it all.

**Plot:** The main character (MC) is a sweetheart who has a hard time saying no to anyone. He's studying architecture, has a gay best friend, and considers himself a staunch heteros*xual (well, and his future boyfriend too, heh, plus a bit of a homophobe, lol). The MC has... more>> an androgynous appearance, is very handsome, and is popular with both girls and guys (though more with guys, even though at that point he's not interested in anyone, lol, he's just not into anyone at all). Then, his friend comes to him, crying about how she got scammed online and wants revenge. The MC, being a loyal friend and ally, of course helps her (though not entirely from the bottom of his heart, because the MC has some trauma and finds it hard to say no—this is revealed later). So, the MC messages this "scammer, " who ignores him for two days, and the MC realizes: he needs to step up his game! And bam! His best friend suggests sending a photo of his beautiful, slender, snow-white legs with a red mole on the side. The MC pretends to be a girl and sends a photo of his legs in shorts, and the "scammer" (ML the love interest) responds. Well, things just spiral from there (passionate chats, photos of abs, bare legs, pics in skirts and dresses, flirting, piano playing), and at some point, the MC realizes he was given the wrong WeChat ID. He’s completely shocked and blocks the ML. But the ML has already fallen in love and starts searching for him everywhere.

Well, you’ll have to read the rest yourselves, my dears. It’s really not bad. I enjoyed it. <<less

Surprised to see this translated.

We have a cold, serious ML (is lowk leg-sexual) x sincere, kind-hearted MC (has the perfect legs) who meet each other due to a misunderstanding. It's quite funny and light-hearted, you find yourself cringing for the MC's actions, especially when he starts falling for the ML unbeknownst to himself. It's literally so heartwarming seeing them fall for each other's small gestures through the screen. When sh*t does hit the fan, however, the author has this perfect balance of it being "rough" and undeniably funny. You... more>> have an in too-in-deep ML uncovering the misunderstanding and the damage-control feeling-sorry MC's antics (spoiler: damage control will end in our ML pulling out even MORE scandalous outfits for the MC to try, all with a straight face).

But really, don't let the premise fool you. This novel is a lighthearted but touching short story about two individuals with their own separate troubles falling in love with each other. Sometimes, you find kindness in the most unexpected people, and I think this short story does a wonderful job of exemplifying that. I laughed, covered my eyes, and cried—a lovely little story. <<less
