To put it simply, the story is nothing special. It's basically a (not so great) junk food sort of story, with the focus split between some VR MOBA game the protagonist plays and basically a story about the protagonist trying to become a VTuber with their very clingy friend.

The real problem I have with the story is the VTuber section (maybe "reality" section is a better name). I'm not sure if it's just the author or if there's actually something wrong with Korea (might be both, I guess), but this... more>> section of the story keeps randomly attacking feminism. For one thing, it's sort of strange given that the protagonist is now living as a woman. However, more importantly, the story just keeps bringing it up for no reason. There's even a bit where they bring up some VTuber company CEO saying "everyone is equal" and then having the media apparently make it something negative because of some supposedly feminist VTuber who got "exposed." It's just bizarre frankly.

Honestly, the more I think about it, the more I'm considering dropping another star. The VTuber section basically ruins the novel.

This novel has many problems. It has that toxic Korean nationalism, it has Japan-bashing, it has Korea's bigoted anti-feminist themes, and worst of all: it's boring.

There are two remotely interesting characters, those being our main character and her friend who is h**ny on main for her. Even they do not have much depth. As always with this style of Vtuber story, the life they lived in isekai land before returning sounds far more interested, especially since then we would have been spared the "Korea number 1" trope glaring right at us. We got a literal quarter chapter from the perspective of a member of her old party which sounded far more interesting than any relationships she has back on earth.

Then there's the fact that she's just playing League of Legends. I mean, they gave me a funny quote to give my Yuumi-playing friend as a screenshot, but it's goddamn League. Not even full-dive VR can make that interesting.

If this slop interested you for even a moment, I would much rather recommend 'The Villainess YouTuber Tears People Apart' which had its translation taken out back and shot by Novelpia with a DMCA. Maybe some MTL translation exists somewhere, but just the mere memory of reading that made me realise how poor this novel does in contrast.

This novel... is kinda strange. It has the classic Shojo Al, but.. the way that the author treats woman.. is horrible. Just read to chapter 13, or matter fact, just skip right into it. You will see what I'm talking about, like wtf is going on?

This story is also, an ecchi. Because the descriptions of the main Characters are just all over the place.

The pacing is also shit, sometimes your reading a thing the MC is doing and out of nowhere he gets a 1 chapter flash back of when... more>> he was a male, and that flash back is never explored again, like, the author just used a flashback to show the MC kendo master, but he only uses that same kendo master 1 chapter, and we never seen him again

And also, the classic Korean - Chinese - Japanese hate. Like, really? I'm not born in any of these countries, but I'm already tired of seeing this. If it was just competition, it's cool. But it's full blown hate speech.

The MCs interacting is cool and awesome, but it doesnt save this novel. <<less
