Poverty, violence, exploitation, death… Mura, a man who believes he’s an “alien,” lives alone and homeless in the slums, waiting for someone from his star to come for him. Enduring hunger and the grind of harsh, daily-wage jobs, he maintains a quiet existence, sometimes cheated out of money but accepting his life and finding a certain peace in his daily routine. However, this bleak but stable life is disrupted when he encounters a young artist, setting off a story that explores the light and darkness of a man living at the bottom of society without a place to call home.

Another wonderfully written book by Konohara Narise Sensei.

The whole plot revolves around the Protagonist, who is neither rich nor has the looks. An average person with below average IQ (I do not mean in a demeaning way), it just adds to the ordinariness of people's lives who are struggling to even meet one/two times meals.

While reading the story you will be pulled into the world of Mura, who has no means to lead a healthy normal lifestyle. His struggles while being exploited gives us a peek at the daily... more>> lives of the people grappling at every chance of survival.

There were also the side characters who help Mura and gives him the sense of belonging that he never had.

Lastly, I must add though, I personally hate the ML.

I think Narise Sensei could have led the story to a better ending, but I guess this works out as well, since its already mentioned in the tags.

Anyways, Happy Reading! (If you can, that is *smirk) <<less
