I hope this novel will get a beautiful manhwa soon. I really like to see the faces of these beautiful characters (Amelia and Leonel). I have no interest in the husband but I came to realize that this husband is bearable compared to other husbands which are totally a mountain of garbage. His personality is somehow annoying but like the FL said: villains are made so that the protagonists will shine. ML is in love with a woman named Evelyn which is dead a long time ago. I believe... more>> that ML manifested his power because of Evelyn's death or maybe his family killed her in front of him. It's just my speculation, but Leonel also manifested his powers when Amelia hanged her self to death. FL resembles Evelyn so much, the reason why ML married her. Her being drunk and spendthrift is because of her depression. Her husband which no care for her and her being outcast in the society leads her to neglect her own son.

Anyway, inside Amelia is a different persona which is trying to change her way of living and her priority. I don't like to have an instant and force lovey-dovey relationship from ML and FL. I want the ML to have the taste of his own medicine. I know that ML and the master are one that is why he knows her plans to escape. It's kinda funny but at the same time it's annoying and disappointing because his reason to stop her and his new found feelings for her are still shallow.

FL is not a saint with no flaws but her character is not dry as well. ML has a comedian side but is quick to feel jealous without even noticing it. He is quick to deny that FL has no significant value to him but cannot accept the fact that he's no longer important to her. <<less

A flawed read. Like everyone said, the MC and her son are the true stars of the show. I only read to the end because of them. The ML is tr*sh. Despite it all, I did finish it, so it’s not all bad.

At first, the ML was complete tr*sh to her and I didn’t want them to end up together. But then his feelings changed, so I was sort of rooting for them to end up together despite her trying to run away and divorce him. But then he confined her! I didn’t find it sexy, but kind of creepy. But I kept reading because I was hoping for some serious regret and forgiveness. But the reveals and endings were so disappointing! Okay, fine, turns out the MC was the ML’s first love. Sure. But then the final reveal made me want to throw my tablet to the ground. Author! Why would you make it so that that the whole reason for their conflict was because the goddess manipulated their feelings?! It was such a cop out of character development! The epilogue didn’t feel satisfying because of it.

Great read although ppl who can't let go will not be able to enjoy because the ML he's kinda weird like a jerk stubborn and mean so just reading and see him will piss you off

However for me I already love the the FL she is headstrong and badass not in a fighting way tho she and Leo have a nice relationship I'm hoping it gets deeper as the story goes on I can't really hate on the ML since both parents are terrible ppl

The novel was decent overall, but I found the resolution at the end a bit too rushed and overwhelming. I wish some aspects had been clarified earlier to allow their relationship to progress more naturally, rather than cramming so much into the final chapters. Additionally, I would have liked more content from his point of view to balance the narrative and provide deeper insight.

I can see the potential with this story. The FL is sensible and I like how she eases her way into a proper relationship with the son, but I personally feel like the story goes a little too slow for my liking. While the ML isn’t the worst ML I’ve seen in these type of stories, he’s still not very likable and they basically just hate each other the entire time which would be fine if the story didn’t drag on so much. Like i’m reading each chapter hoping it’ll... more>> be the one where she leaves! Skimming the story a bit further, it looks like by chapter 39 she’s still living with him so I think I’ll drop this story and come back when there’s more chapters. <<less

this is nice novel, every scene describe in very detail narration. and the progress is not too slow or too fast, I think the progress just enough speed. I love the little one in novel, lovely handsome Leonel. just can't wait Amelia get out from duchy as soon as possible, Idk why I'm more like when Amelia part from Raphael, cause she deserve it thought. And can't wait Leonel when he grow up.... I hope this translation will still going on, thank you for translation Tl-nnim....
