Started with the manhwa, then read the rest of the novel via mtl.

The mtl translations are not great (as is usual for mtl), but it's enough to understand the story. I liked the story, though the fact that all the events basically happened within a year feels quite unbelievable. I also liked the main character and his main party and even the side characters, they all have distinct personalities and motivations. However, many of the side characters to feel rather underdeveloped, and they feel as if they have more stories... more>> that could have been told.

While I enjoyed the novel, my biggest issue with it is the rushed and abrupt ending. It feels like a whole epilogue is missing. Ending spoilers are below:

The last chapter is basically: MC defeats the final boss, and then they all go to live happily ever after on a farm. The End. There was no explanation as to why the main party decides to go live on a farm, or how they came to that decision, what happened to everybody else etc.

I started reading the novel after I read the manwha, and to be honest I really like it. It's like your typical leveling-up hunter, but honestly I like MC's poison power and his mischievous-lively personality. He's like the overpowered sung jinwoo but with kim dokja scammer personality lol

I really enjoyed the story and plot, I also like the side characters and their character developments. The only thing that ruined all of them for me is: the ending. I don't know about the others, but personally I think the ending was... more>> too rushed & forced, so it was a bit disappointing for me. I think it would be better if author decided to add a few more chapter epilogue/side story just to explain the final battle and its aftermath, but nope. Nothing. I truly didn't feel satisfied reading the last chapter.

To be honest, I really hope the manhwa would come back soon with new season and adding a better & more satisfying ending. <<less
