When ML realizes he need to let MC to back to his own world first, so that MC can kill himself and stabilize MC soul, then MC come back to ML world. MC soul is in bad situation but ML just didn’t tell MC and is in denial and worried that MC will never come back. The author could’ve gone with either 1. ML prefers MC die in his arms than letting him go back 2. ML let MC go back because he truly treasure MC. But nope, ML just pretends this issue doesn’t exist and stays closer to MC physically even more. Is this the mind of tyrant and smart archduke? He’s just so immature, lack EQ, etc.

Early on in the story, I kind of had an inkling that I might rage quit the story. Just from the time that the MC revealed itself to the emperor alone, I could tell that the MC was a whiny self-absorbed entitled brat. He obviously knows what he should and shouldn’t do as an adult who supposedly went to graduate school, and yet at the slightest inconvenience his go to response is to whine and struggle. The adult thing to do would have been to shut up and endure, having already known that the ML was not going to heed his complaints, instead though, the MC just discards caution to the wind and acts like a brat because being in a pocket is “stuffy” (ﾉಠдಠ) ﾉ︵┻━┻ like sure if you couldn’t breathe then moving a little to get into a position that would let you have oxygen is understandable but the assumption of “I thought the ML would give me a tour of the palac” was such a s*upid statement that I couldn’t decide if the MC was mentally disabled or if the author just went too far into trying to portray the MC as “naive” that they instead made him incomparably dumb
