*Male Protagonist: Target (Cha Mu-jin) – The illegitimate son of the President of K Group, who was framed by his father’s legal wife and was sent to be imprisoned inside the closed ward.

*Male Lead 2: Top Dog (Rock) – The First patient inside the closed ward. He was rumored to have been hospitalized for anger management issues, everyone assumes that he is a member of the underworld.

*Male Lead 3: Black Cat (Gyeom) – A patient who was looking for a secret passage inside the closed ward. His reason for hospitalization is Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. He suggested that he and Lee Won work together to escape from the closed ward.

*Female Protagonist: Lee Won – A competent agent. She is tasked with saving the unfortunate Son of the K Group President, who is trapped inside the closed ward. She succeeded in disguising herself as a patient and entered the closed ward, only to find herself in a different world, where the rules and common sense of the outside world do not apply.

This is such a good novel. This is perfect for a graphic novel-esk game, where it's up to the player to dictate the ending. There is mutliple scenarios in this novel that screamed "what if?" It really allows the reader to enjoy this to the fullest due to how it illustrates or alludes to a certain ending but still maintains the plot line and to be mysterious about it.

or what if she hadn't talked to that weird guy who can forsee things?

what if she chose one of the other two instead of the current ML?

or what if she probed more into the weird doctor near the end?

There are so many endings to this novel if she chose to do a slightly different approach, I love it.

I'm currently re-reading this again, I also forgot to write a review for this a while back when I just finished it, I just recently remembered to write one.

Go give this a read if you love thrilling novels mixed with a little bit of a horror element. Quite the spicy read too. <<less

pros:

its precisely what it says to be; a suspenseful/thrilling story. It's written beautifully, with enough tension to make you put your phone down for a bit and just think. The ending is well deserved also. cons: though it's tagged with to be smut, there isn't 'actual' smut in the early chapters.

though don't let that disregard you from reading this. I'd normally write a much longer review but there isn't much to say, it's one of those kinds of novels where it's better to just read it to see if it'll... more>> fit your taste. <<less

Awesome.

Really liked this story though I didn't thought it would be that way.

That isn't really a reverse harem, or even a romance, bc it's really all about the plot, the suspense and even the horror of it. So if you're here for the smut tag, let me say it is really subtile... more>>

the MC won't have s*x until chapter 90 at the very end, before there are just imaginary scenes

A mysterious super smart woman enter a psychiatric hospital in order to save a man, that's the plot chapter 1 but the more you read the more you become doubtful about the hospital and everyting / everyone.

Honestly the plot was so great with so much going on that the romance part felt quite left out to me :

like the false patients drugged, the cult, the pe*vert Dr Madison, Sol, the serpent etc. Etc.

But still the ML is great and hot and I wasn't disappointed about him or his personnality.

I would have loved if we were to see more about how the MC fell for the ML and more about her past too, her training, how she grew up and everything so it felt a bit like it was rushed at the end.

Rushed too for the villains

I was perhaps not disappointed bc it's satisfying when all is going well at the end, but at the same time we progress in the horror for like 80 chapters and then they escape so smoothly ? And what about Sol or the doctor ? At the end we still don't know where are they.
