Yu Huai, a graduate student at a university of traditional Chinese medicine, collapses from sudden cardiac arrest after returning from a free clinic with her professor. When she wakes up, she finds herself in the year 1985—in the body of a twenty-year-old girl about to be sold to a lame old man in the village.

After receiving the original owner’s memories, Yu Huai immediately runs away. On the fifth day of hiding in the mountains, she comes across an injured man. As a medical student, she can’t ignore him and decides to save him.
