Alright. I'm kind of biased, but, who cares anyway. This novel is a 4.5/5 for me. Even though it has only a few chapters, since I am an avid Sherlock Holmes fan and a Genderbender enthusiast, I literally couldn't resist the urge to smile. Although Moriarty's personality is quite off from the original, I still like this interpretation of him.

First few chapters goes like this...

Moriarty breaks the 4th wall and proceeds to exit England. His destination? America. While on a boat ride, he gets caught up in a few events... more>> which unfortunately for him, got him tangled in the mess of a Goddess and because of his audacious personality, got himself turned into a loli (not like that). Yeah, that's about it.

Pretty good, pretty solid start. Anyways, see ya. <<less

While there isn't a lot of chapters yet, I have high expectations for this story.

Our main character is Professor Moriarty with an interesting twist. The portrayal is different from the original. But, then, again, the professor claims madness and I cannot fault him for that; the experience that led to his journey to stray away from his story is that ground shaking— a cosmic horror, even.

Speaking of which, cosmic horror is an important aspect in this novel for Cthulhu Mythos is involved. Chaos truly has visited Professor Moriarty upon trying... more>> to leave the framework of his story and its the Crawling kind. It is entertaining, although some foreknowledge of the references mentioned is helpful in knowing nuances here and there. The author may or may not delve into explaining all of these later. It shall to be seen.

Professor Moriarty... from Crime Consultant to being an Investigation to cases related to the Occult. The kind that could have an unfortunate psychotic episode from the sheer madness caused by the eldritch horror. That's the role he is been teased to have now and slowly shown to how he ended up there.

The writing is wonderful. The translation is wonderful. And a story that has me keenly interested to see how it unfolds. If you have read The Maid of the Cursed Princess, then be delighted since the same author penning this one! <<less
