The idea is solid and some of the stories are very well-executed, however, it gets a bit repetitive in several stories. He'll use some otherworldly means to ensure that the characters he's 'fighting' against can't rise again and, while entertaining in the beginning, it becomes tedious. He shows that he has the skill and foresight to learn, grow, and develop within each world without appearing outrageously overpowered and/or out-of-character so I enjoy that.

Almost continuous use of the bad luck talisman is just insane. Hurting their pride by normal means already damages -if not, destroys - his target's confidence since it makes them question their abilities. But using that talisman to ensure that they stay barely above the poverty line and/or endure almost constant physical harm is tiring.

I can not recommend this story it suffers from the usual pitfalls of QT stories (low IQ villains, repetitive, etc). However, that's to be expected since this genre as a whole is basically junk food. The biggest issue for me is how the revenge is skimmed over so quickly. Arc 1 and Arc 2 basically wrap up like this "They were no longer rich and powerful like in their previous life. System take me to the next Arc.". What's the point of reading this story if that's the revenge and... more>> it's so blasé. The first story at least tries and it starts out a bit promising we see the fall of the original male protag company, the original female protag is reborn, and you start to think oh this might be building up to a decent face slapping story. But that face slap never came the female protag confronts the MC about being reborn and tries to make some excuses and then decides to live in poverty. The arc ends with male protag who has become a disheveled alcoholic telling her to go do the dishes and she just says okay and does the dishes. No thoughts of regret for what she did in her previous life or anything she just gets to work on those dishes. It's very telling that I could not find this novel jjwxc. <<less
