I've only read until the first arc so I can only talk about that for now

In the first arc itself there are things that some readers might not be able to accept which is understandable.

The ML is a Yandere and not the dreamy type of Yandere that makes you think I am the exception and only I can change him... Nonono not this ml, at one point he thought of breaking his mother's arms or legs just so the MC could go to the hospital to visit her instead of mc's other acquaintances who is also in the hospital (but of course the whole scene is written in a funny way or at least I chuckled a little reading that part)

Is there worse Yandere ML out there, YES, DEFINITELY YES!!!!! But just be warn when the tag says Yandere, they genuinely meant it!!!

This is my first time reviewing a story, and I'm a bit excited.

Alright, to those of you who gave this story a low rating:

I hate you! I mean, did you not read the tags? And for those who are thinking of reading this: please don't skip it! This is a masterpiece.

One of my favorite lines, and it made me so curious that I couldn't stop reading. I wanted to uncover the background of the MC and ML and here's what I discovered:

1. MC's Character

I've read a lot of stories and seen various personalities, but I guess I have a type. This MC really uses their brain smart both intellectually and emotionally. The MC appears to be playing a role, but their true personality is aloof and indifferent. At first, I thought the author would make the ML interfere with the MC's tasks. I was so wrong. Seriously. In each different world, the MC has their own approach and is fully committed to completing their missions. I dare say the ML is just decoration in this romance story ahem.

2. ML's Character

Alright, a lot of people misunderstand the ML, calling him a yandere who forces the relationship. I swear, guys, I didn't like him at first either. Many say the ML killed innocent people. Well, I don't know if he actually did, but I promise he's not that bad. The MC's rational nature balances out the ML's slightly yandere tendencies. And I was so curious about the reason behind the ML's obsession.

ML's true identity is revealed early on, so it's not much of a spoiler: ML, Feng Yuan, is the Asura King basically, the Demon King. That explains his slightly yandere nature. Why slightly? Because ML isn't that cruel, just annoyingly possessive toward Shuang Yu. He doesn't care much about human lives or so I thought. But I was completely wrong. He does have a brain and a sense of responsibility. He has the Asura Realm to protect and fulfills his duties as its king. Even when helping with the MC's mission, he was willing to sacrifice his life at that time, the MC's mission was to save the human world. Indirectly, the ML still cares, even if it's for the MC's sake.

Feng Yuan's obsessive and possessive nature made me deeply curious...

why does he love Shuang Yu that much?

Honestly, their relationship makes me jealous. Feng Yuan may be possessive, but he's not a psychopath who kills for fun. At the very least, he still cares about others because Shuang Yu (the MC) values and cherishes humanity.

Another unexpected aspect is the MC's relationship with the system.

Arc 2 = The Inferior Omega is Forced to Be Loved by the Exceptional Alpha

Arc 3 = The White Moonlight is Forced to Be Loved by the Stand-in

Arc 4 = The Werewolf is Forced to Be Loved by the Vampire Father

Arc 5 = The Disabled Prince is Forced to Be Loved by the Secret Guard

Arc 6 = The Aloof Professor is Forced to Be Loved by the Mermaid Experiment Subject

Arc 7 = The Fallen Top Star is Forced to Be Loved by the Well-Dressed Film Emperor

Arc 8 = The Amnesiac Fox Demon is Forced to Be Loved by the Cold-Blooded Son of Buddha

Arc 9 = The Skin Hunger Syndrome Sentinel is Forced to Be Loved by the White-to-Black Guide

Arc 10 = The Social Anxiety Straight Man is Forced to Be Loved by the Sliced Evil God

Arc 11 = Past Affairs

Overall, my favorite arcs are Arc 2, Arc 6, and Arc 11. I love them because they show a different side of the ML his emotions, both toward the MC and toward others.

And do you know what made me even more jealous?

Ughh, you'll understand exactly how I felt once you read it all. This is now officially my one and only favorite story about fast transmigration and a yandere ML, for real.

But there's just one thing that disappointed me.

And to anyone wondering, yes. I read this in raw Chinese. Just search for the title in Chinese.

It's entertaining but some of the themes are really wild. I'm so glad USpostalsystemenvelope made a review because I was reeling when the system said that. I know Yandere stories can be toxic but to randomly say that is wild.

Plot: MC is a ghost official that must travel to different worlds to alleviate the resentment of souls unable to move on by getting revenge on their behalf. This is apparently a very sought after job that MC gets because he knows one of the higher ups in the underworld ... more>>

this is actually a ploy to get him out the underworld because the ML is looking for him. They're scared of his wrath because they had MC for like 300 years knowing ML was looking for him.

Characters:

MC- Shuang Yu: It's hard to describe his personality because he mostly just do his task. The author doesn't really have any scenes of him relaxing or having any interest. He mentioned being overworked as a ghost official, but that trait hasn't really been explored. He's initially mentioned not liking being touched but it was only relevant like once. Someone in the underworld described him as unmotivated and lazy, but as I said he mostly does his task. So I don't know. He is consistently logical and assertive, fighting back if someone attacks him.

ML - Feng Yan: His personality is a bit more colorful and fleshed out, although somewhat one dimensional but I only read 1 arc. He's a yandere ofc, but it's better to describe him as unhinged. He takes and does what he wants. He's actually considerate to MC compared to other characters.

The system - Xiao Ai: Says wild crazy things. I wondered if the ML has him on payroll sometimes. Is actually very useful.

Cons: Even for a yandere novel there is a lack of sensitivity when it comes to real word problems. The side characters are not developed. The villains and side characters are kind of mindless.

Pros: it's entertaining. Tbh the green tea witch was the most entertaining part. If the author gave her half a brain she would have potential. Seeing the ML being a yandere was also fun, but I like yandere stories so I'm bias. I feel compared to other yandere stories, he's not that bad. If you can turn your brain off the story is not bad. <<less

When the author said that the ML is Yandere and lunatic, they really mean it. So beware before reading it.

in the first arc, the ML is someone who has mental problem. Yes, he is real lunatic who needs therapist and medicine. The author didn't make it as something romantic, he is really creepy and scary Yandere. I almost finished reading it and so far the ML is always some kind of Yandere.

he is not weak, he also doesn't easily swept by ML. In one scene when the ML suddenly proposed him, he actually rejected him and questioned him about his love, does he really love him or just possessiveness?

With so many quick transmigration genre out there, it can be quite repetitive but I found this one quite refreshing.

From the tittle it's clearly said "Forced into love by Lunatic" so you should know what to expect. <<less
