Slice of life story. MC has god-like healing abilities like regeneration, rendering her free from all sorts of injuries even corpse poison. Due to having no attacking capabilities or being "infected" because of her injuries, she's considered dead weight by her parties and always ended up being abandoned by them.

The female lead awoke 2 yrs+ with no memories of her time as a human and kept a diary recording all her experiences from waking up to realizing how normal humans feared her appearance which leads to how she became better... more>> at disguising herself. Unlike normal zombies, she still has her consciousness, is able communicate with humans, eat human food (fish, strawberries, etc.), not some crystal in other zombies' neck for evolution as shown in [My Girlfriend is a Zombie] manhua.

Read about 8 chapters, the MC was abandoned in the place where the FL has stayed for about a year, she grew interest and kept following the MC and leaving her food for her to cook their dinner. Their interaction is almost broken when the MC has realized that the FL is a zombie king...

The FL uses writing for communication and later shows the MC her diary when her identity was exposed, successfully gaining the latter's trust to stay with her. The pair decided to stay in some abandoned hut in the forest, the FL planted a man-eating plant in their garden and the MC adopted some wild cat that spits fire for starting their fire. <<less

Such a lovely story!

It's mainly slice of life in the apocalypse, but it's so fun to read and so interesting!

The zombie king is an op kuudere who's super cute and she's living with MC and they be spoiling each other like crazy

A very cozy slice of life punctuated by a bit of action. Romance, slice of life and post-apocalyptic is an odd combination but has been progressing nicely. FL should be overpowered and this often leads to the damsel in distress dynamic with the MC. Fortunately Lin Yuzu shows herself to be extremely capable, decisive and overall likeable.

It's a slice of life novel. The story was very sweet, MC and FL raised a lot of mutant animals and plants and also adopted a mutated human child. You should try this if you enjoy a sweet and fluffy slice of life story with very few actions. The reason why I only gave 3 stars was because I'm not really a fan of slice of life. There's only 2 action scenes in the novel if I remember correctly.

the first one was when 3 intruders came to their house and wanted the information on zombie cure potion from MC, she was originally part of the experiment to create that cure because of her ability.

The 2nd part was near the ending where they were attacked by another zombie king. There's a plot twist there, quite a sad one. The FL was involved in the zombie king attack 2 years before at the base MC used to live at, MC's sister and most of the people she cared about died there. FL's base stole the incomplete cure potion I think (I'm not too sure since I read the mtl) and also created the zombie king that attacked the base, FL got infected by a zombie virus and got injected with that potion which turned into the current her. Near the end of the novel, that same zombie king came and attacked them, but the sad and tragic part was that MC's sister who died 2 years ago was experimented on and her body stitched together with that zombie king, MC recognised her face and her space ability. Not sure what happened to her at the end, probably died for good because FL came back. There wasn't much explanation about the incident 2 years ago, what happened to the scums as FL's base during that time, but judging from MC's sister being turned into a zombie king, they were probably the ones behind it.

A super sweet slice-of-life that somehow manages to take a horrible, post-apocalyptic world and make it feel like home; this story just oozes happiness, the kind you can feel even through a rough machine translation.

Definitely going to re-read the whole thing if and when the proper translations pick back up.
