Honestly, just give it a go.

Both the MC and ML are crack up and their love ends up being very sincere.

For those of you who do not enjoy gender bender, m/m, w/w...I can only say that after you read this, perhaps your views on the world may change just as it had for our MC.

Su Jian was a single, 30-year-old IT guy who lost each of his past girlfriends to a richer/handsomer/cooler/smarter man, An Yize. One day, Su Jian wakes up in the gorgeous 22-year-old body of An Yize's contract wife, also named Su Jian.

From a gentle, quiet girl who had agreed to a contract marriage for show in exchange for money for her mother's medical bills, Su Jian suddenly becomes a rough, honest, completely unconventional wife who ogles women and likes to watch adult films. Watching cold, but respectful An Yize try to... more>> figure out how to live with such an oddball wife was very entertaining.

This novel is very funny, particularly Su Jian freaking out over the female body. One of the best scenes in the story is when Su Jian's "Great Aunt" visits. Or the drunken Su Jian scenes. Or the many, many, things he says honestly that make everyone speechless. Or dealing with his mother-in-law. It is a slice-of-life sweet romance, with many funny moments from Su Jian's point of view, and there is no real tear-jerking angst.

It was weird how Su Jian slowly became reconciled to being female, because he is very masculine inside, but the ending was very sweet, especially his godmother.

Anyway, this is a modern transmigration story done right, even if the gender switch is a bit odd. <<less

One of the best !! You will never regret reading this one.

You will laugh out loud at the MCs antics and the MLs circumstance. I totally loved how these two started with marriage of convenience and then slowly fell in love when the MC reincarnates as the MLs wife.

They need to change the cover though. This book is too hilarious for such a cover.

Really really fluffy and cute! The main character still keeps a lot of their original charm and personality, and incorporates their new body's cuteness as well. I like the slow romance and the buildup, and it kept me interested the whole way!

The only thing that I didn't quite like (but I'm still ok with) is how he threw away his interests so he could seem more like the "girly" part of his new body. I get that he wants to satisfy his new body's students and goals, but it also would've been cool seeing him explore a computer or engineering pathway.

i just want to say this is the best genderbender i've erver seen, I won't spoil anything but it's really good:

  1. the main characters are not annoying,
  2. the ''love rivals'' are almost never seen
  3. the ending is beautiful and makes you want more...
what I think is that it's better not looking too much at the spoilers...

The best gender bender out there even for someone like me who's not into the genre. The MC's experience is depicted very realistically. Even till the end, his hilarious personality stays the same. I like that the pronounce "he" was kept when referring to the MC, even though he's now a female. It reminds readers that he used to be a guy. Slow burn romance that is among the best of its kind. Cute family interactions.

Feb 2019. The first time I read it, It was a very very simple story with plot holes and not satisfied. 3 star

Jan 2020. The second time I read it, I enjoyed it immensely, laughed like crazy with MC and ML interaction. 4star

This is just a light fluffy story that sometimes is funny and sad yet it really is written to be enjoyed while you're relaxing.

It has all the elements I want to read.
    1. Slow Romance and a bit of comedy
    2. Strong heroine (in this, kinda heroine lol) without 'stockholm kinda syndrome'
    3. Reasonable ML
    4. Not too deep Villain and support characters
Few parts are questionable and sometimes I feel the MC and host characteristics are blending and becomes this new MC. I dont have the feeling of this MC as a man being reborn in female body, but I got the feeling MC is a woman with a man's heart. And dont me start with how th a 29year old man who alr work in society has a low brain capacity. But I digress, since my brain alr told my mind that this was a woman with a man's heart story.

Wow!!! This story is very enjoyable read. There's are some light angst, but it is beyond offset by all the comedic parts. In other words is it a pretty good romantic comedy genre of a story. It will give you a warm feeling as well as a lot of laugh out loud moments. Very Highly Recommended.

Best gender bender out there that I've seen. Wish the pronouns got switched so it was always 'her' but still good. No traps or yaoi or anything. Just a rebirth as a woman and struggle to realize she's fallen in love

This novel, I can't even- I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!!

The basic plot isn't even that unique but the entire story is absolutely intriguing. I adore the interaction between them. And the realistic mindset of the MC as a man whose conscious/soul transported permanently into the body of a girl. The insecurities, the confusion, the distress etc. And the slow-paced romance. Because it'd be hella cheap when the straight man easily fell for the 'new husband' just because they lived together, got pampered and whatever.

The MC's genuine acts of treating the ML as a friend (and actually call their relationship as 'comrades in arms') is realistic to me. How the ML actually fell for his wife later- also not instantly, but expected, he's actually straight and live with the girl and she's a whole new level of bizzare in his flat world. And the step by step development from curious to bemused to fondness to oh-shit-I-think-I-do-like-this-girl to oh-yes-I-want-to-be-with-her-forever.

But said 'wife' is all hesitant because HE IS ACTUALLY A MAN (A STRAIGHT ONE) EVEN WHEN HE'S CURRENTLY IN A WOMAN'S BODY SO SUDDENLLY FALLING IN LOVE WITH THIS 'HUSBAND' OF HIS IS NOT POSSIBLE. It's just not possible to change someone's s*xual orientation with several romantic settings and sweet words. Especially when said someone sees the other as a close friend. MC seriously sees the ML as a friend and being a good bro.

MC's genuine care about ML's life and love-life then proceeds to actively matchmaking the ML to several women (and men because ML never had a girlfriend, okay?! MC is suspicious he's gay so MC is being a honorable bro here) is also endearingly entertaining. So MC sees him with 'wariness towards stranger' to acknowledment to acceptance to friend to close friend to a-guy-who-likes-me to this-poor-guy, as then MC starts to consider many things and thinks deeper about 'falling for the person and not the physical apperance (gender included) '.

All the dramas happening so far also aren't too exaggerated. They are common dramas yet enticing at the same time. So in short words this is a satisfying and realistic Body Swap story for me. It's overall a very good read.

So far I really like this novel. I don’t really read gender benders but I love this one. The MCs really likeable and you can relate to him. It’s fun watching him slowly except the fact he’s a woman now. He’s reaction when he got his period was too funny! He literally has no clue how to be a woman and has to figure it all out without looking crazy. At the beginning he hates the ML because all the girls he liked liked the ML. But soon he starts... more>> warming up to him and considers him a bro lol. He’s a little dense and doesn’t notice the ML likes him but you can’t blame him he’s still into girls. He drools over every pretty girl he meets!

At chapter 57 the ML likes him and I think he does too but refuses to believe it cause he thinks he’s still into girls. There’s not much drama cause when someone tries anything they give up cause the MCs too dense to understand. All the girls that try to scheme against him get flirted with instead. I gave it 5 stars cause the MC and ML are too loveable. <<less

I found the first few chapters a bit bland, but as the story progresses I think that the story has become smoother and hilarious, so I really recommend people to give this a try even when you don't like the gender bender genre!

One of the most interesting story that I'd read. I didn't want to read it at first, since BL doesn't suit my taste and I thought it's a trap, but I was wrong. The only trap was the Mc's spirit, but overall it's a fun and entertaining. She didn't fell automatically to the ML and I really enjoyed their interactions and antics.

Do not let the gender bender tag put you off. Think of it as a sudden change of personality rather than a migration of the soul. Regardless, this story is incredibly sweet, heartwarming and just cute overall. All the other 5-Star reviews aren't being exaggerated. Read it, thoust shalln't regret it.

After having gone through piles and piles of black-bellied bastards and forceful "I know you want it" male leads, I'm so happy to be blessed with this amazing golden male lead (Seriously, he should be the poster boy for Male Leads that Deserve their Loves). The romance development and character dialogue are hilarious. There is one big problem though: bad transitions. The author likes to skip entire scenes and disregard side characters. Sadly, I wish there were endings to all the villains since I wanted to read about karma.

This is the best work on gender bender in my opinion. The timing of this piece is perfect. The characters were very well presented in their development and we got a good story. And the ending was well done and you end it with a feeling of satisfaction. My only problem is actually the transition between chapter 75 and chapter 76. Because in chapter 75, An Yize had just punched Ji Yan in the face and I thought that they would continue in the chapter in the stone and An... more>> Yize would separate himself from him for good. But instead, no. Which was not good because chapter 76 didn't have much substance. But other than that, 10/10 in all aspects. <<less

I find it confusing that the author keeps referring to the MC as he and him instead of adopting their new gender.

The jokes and misunderstandings are quite good, but overall it's just the standard chinese drama. It might be a bit of a parody and comedy. I do find it unfortunate that the female MC even in this story just rides the coattails of the male MC and as usual he's imposing, a CEO, dominant and rich. Nothing new or interesting here.
