Good Read!

Honestly, what made me post a review is the MC. TOO HUMOROUS HAHAHA. It made me laugh too much haha. Comedy here is top-notch for me 🤩

Smooth Romance btw, it does not dwell too much on drama or plot. MC’s levelheadedness also adds points for me.

Definitely a good read if u want a happy mood 😌👌

Bruh, this is too cute. I have read through this series at least twice, and I will probably read it again. I love it so much. The characters are dynamic and the translation is of a good quality. It'd be cool to have some more of the Chinese specific like cultural things pointed out if translator notes, but that's just personal preference. Anyways, this is cute, and fluffy and just all around fuehuehuehue.

Wonderful story! I've never really had a thing for gender benders, but this novel is just lovely. Not too plot heavy, and pretty light. The translation was really great and they did a magnificent job. The characterization of the characters was simply amazing, and the relationship development between MC and ML was great! I truly loved this story. Plot was well written, and the author did a fantastic job. Funny as f*ck as well. It doesn't drag on either, finished all chapters + side stories in the duration of 2... more>> days.

My only complaint however, is that (as far as I remember) the ML never actually finds out about MC's rebirth. Not really iffy about it as at least MC's family found out (my main desire in the story) but it would've been nice to have seen what would have happened. Otherwise, no complaints!

First of all, this is my first review from novel updates.

(Yup, This lazy ass self, your grandma was motivated to write a review for this novel.)

This gender bend or body swap novel got me hooked and addicted other than some gender-bend novels. The novel has a good flow of the plot and is unique since Author-sama added the signature of her quirkiness and awesome style of writing. Very appetizing to the eyes and I feel very stuffed because of the slow-paced romance and fan service. It also has... more>> a good quality which is a rare treasure that you might not find in the world of many Chinese novels.

Reborn As My Love Rival's Wife didn't make me regret reading it overnight. It was very worth it. If you love Fluffy, Heartwarming, a little bit of drama, a natural slow-paced story, no tragic deaths, and sad endings, check out this novel. ♡´･ᴗ･`♡ Interactions between the characters are hilarious and witty especially the MC (Su Jian) and the ML (An Yize) since the MC (Su Jian) is a single male who turned into a female, who became, unfortunately, his love rival's wife. Their conversations and actions are out of this world since it made me speechless sometimes where at some point Idk whether to laugh or cry, like give them an Oscar!.

MC (Su Jian) is very comedic, and lively, His male pov was hilarious, treating the ML first cautiously, and later on, he feels comfortable and treats him like a 'bro and a friend'. While the ML (An Yize) is the opposite cold, indifferent, quiet, but talkative when he's with MC, He is slowly becoming gentle and doting to the MC (Su Jian) To which their personalities suit each other and they are quite compatible.

Further chapters show character development between the two of them especially Su Jian since he was troubled and quite depressed in his new life as a woman. Therefore we can understand his struggles to accept his new identity and new Life. Secondly, ML An Yize has quite a sad hidden past that seemed to affect his views and feelings in the present especially facing Su Jian. Both of them are quite hesitant in accepting the present. But either way, their relationship improves better and better.

I love how the author portrays them in a quite realistic way. Props to author-sama. A Good Mother. Thank you for this wonderful story. I will never forget this one and I will be back in the future re-reading the novel. QAQノ <<less

This is my firtst read of a gender bender genre so I wasn't really expecting anything. Picked it up because of the good reviews. It didn't fail me. It is soo good.

I love the fact that the MC actually considered if his feelings for the ML were real, and that his views as male didn't change to female. It's funny, sweet, and super fluffy. The only thing that I'm left thinking of is why he didn't choose to reveal the truth to ML. But since he said that it wasn't... more>> needed then it's fine.

Overall, it's a super good read. <<less

Ok, I will say this story is good and it not boring. At first, I doesn't want to read it at all, but as I read the review, mostly said it funny, fluffy although they also never though to read the gender bender novel.

But I give a try and I like this one. The romance is slow pace but I would say that each chapter is funny. I could understand the MC feeling as he was a man at first, but somehow got rebirth as a woman. It not easy... more>> to accept reality.

As he was a man, his behaviour and thinking is different, and that what make the story interesting.

This story is not focusing on the overbearing and pushy ML, too doting ML, empowered FL, the b*tch as villain, the evil mother-in-law.. It just a typical and realistic story. Give it a try! <<less

At first I was bit iffy to start reading this novel since gender bender isn't my cup of tea (and still kinda is). But boy, I'm glad I give it a try. This is definitely one of the best novel I've read. Every chapter is done beautifully that I find it really hard to put down. The fluff is no joke and comedy is gold! Su Jian (with his antics) is now definitely one of my fav character <3

One of the best Gender-Bender tag novel I've read.

I cried at some point in the end. It was that good. Give it a read.

It was hilarious and no big drama's. Just that MC was so moving and ML was so loving.

Gahhhh.. Makes me want to read it again.

One of the best novel ever! Really love the character development and the plot although its bizarre but it's really funny and so unique on its own! Thanks to the author and also to the translator for choosing this book. Recommended to all, have a go on this light novel <3

the story is pretty funny and engaging and I love misunderstandings and the slow burn romance between MC and ML. They complement each other so well and this romance is right up my alley.

But there are a few aspects I found which make the entire experience of reading this novel fall flat and leave a sour taste in my mouth:

    • gender stereotypes
    • racism
    • h*mophobia
so, even though I am tolerating this novel for now I am hugely disappointed.

I loved it. After reading several novels for god knows how many, this is one among the few novels which has made me binge read in a day.

Loved ML And MC. Their romance pace is just right for me to be honest. The thing that I loved that it doesn't have that long draggy drama or misunderstandings that some novels have nor a douchebag ML.

I highly recommend it to those who wants to read a lighthearted novel, free from stress.

My first gender bender novel and I love it so much. I laughed really hard at almost every chapter. The storyline is just funny and cute. The drama isn’t draggy and straight to the point. It’s quite good for light reading. No complicated stuffs.

After finishing come & eat, shan shan my life was suddenly bleak. After browsing lots of plot novel I finally decided to choose this one. Srsly im so glad I gave it a shot. It's super funny fluffy & sometimes heart wrenching. With a MC that is one heck of character & an ML that is very loveable, this piece of work should have a perfect rating. Though this is fluffy bear in mind that the MC was a guy before so it is super slow when it comes to... more>> their relationship development, nevertheless this doesn't stop me from laughing & loving the couple. Additionally some are saying the MC is too childish for his age, but bear in mind guys, there are 7billion people in this world, different personality & upbringing, therefore please take into account that not everyone will have a matured mind when their turning 30's.

As I've finished this novel, my heart now feels empty & loss. I need another novel like this. Can someone suggest me some fluffy romance? <<less

Seriously the funniest novel I've read so far. Su Jian is top of the shelf crackhead. The sense of humor is light, but very relatable. Su Jian feels like that friend you love dearly but gives you major second hand embarassments. Lol.

I appreciate how the author takes her characters like real people. Impulsive at times, and indecisive at times. Thus, the character development is enjoyable without the characters feeling like new character you barely know anymore.

The downside is it's too short! I want moooore!

OMG... cant believe that I has been missed this gem... I always skip if I see something that gender bender or man reborn as woman or Yaoi or yuri tag.. (I am not against LGBT story.. just not my cup of coffee)... but this novel is hilarious... so funny and it made laugh every single chapter... Lucky I give a try after read so many review and definitely love it and translator (Resonance) really did very good jobs to delivery the superb translation..

MC is a Man with woman body and... more>> she was so funny and as her mind was a man so she more straightforward and more simple... and the best things... it took a step by step before she fallen in love this ML..

ML is a poor man that I had a very long long journey to chase his wife... but he's lucky to have her as wife as she is a woman with man's perspective so more simple... (woman is more complicated... hohoho I am a girl so I know it very well :))

every single chapter's very entertaining... so highly recommended <<less

Enjoyable and comedic. Feel like reading BL but with MC that have woman body and can get pregnant. Like omega. My fav troupe XD also I love how stiff and kuudere ML is. Good job to the translator also!

This story is completely hilarious but well written!

The first few chapters I couldn't help but to get 2nd hand embarrassment from MC's antics. Sometimes his trail of thoughts or actions don't make sense, but we need to remember that he lived as a man fro 30 years with no love life, then suddenly he has to adapt acting as a woman with a husband.

ML is the type who is very serious about love, when he likes someone he's in and there's no way out. He is whipped by his wife,... more>> he dotes, but at the same time he could be 'cruel' with his kisses *ahem*

Warning: NO DOG BLOOD, A LOT OF DOG FOOD.

This was my first gender-bender read and I was super worried and skeptical how I would feel about it when I first start, but I would say that I did not regret my decision to just plunge in and read.

By the way, it was very clear that the ML loves MC's soul, not the original host, as he was very indifferent towards her before the transfer. It was MC's personality that moved him, so no worries! <<less

Female Lead is a reborn person, that happened to be the love rival of Male Lead. Yes, She is a man on his previous life.

During His/Her new life, she fixed her relationship with her family (parents and brother), and become a better person (in my opinion)

Along the story, we can found her male side here and there and how she trying to get revenge to her current husband.

Overall, the story is cute and refreshing and fun to read.
