Cute, happy pure fluff story. Lots of face-slapping of previous life villains and funny happy characters.

Shameless dog food made me laugh.

Such entertaining novel.

I like how MC and ML not only try to fix their own past but also the people around them so they could have at least a better future.

I think everything is fine, the only thing that make me not satisfied with this novel is, the marriage between MC's father and ML'mother.

MC's father is clearly knew the reason why his child hate him so much, they think that he neglected them (child & mother) and he is not there when they need him the most but then he... more>> go back to them at much later time and being remmaried at that. If the reason of his remarriage is cuz he think his child need a mother figure, then I think he choose the wrong person to be married. I mean ML's mother is so busy she cant even take care of her own biological son, so why he think she can be a mother figure for his own child ? Well they dont cheat but still, idk I just dont feel comfortable with their remarriage. And its no wonder MC and ML would behave as such at their previous life. More over after ML's mother says such thing to ML, telling ML to be good to MC cuz MC lost her mom when he still a small child meanwhile she herself rarely there by her son side. Well MC and ML ended up forgive them tho.

Its just my opinion, sorry for being unreasonable and petty

Also I like MC's sister the most, I loves woman who can takes care of herself. And Im kinda currious why she follow her mother's surname instead of his father's, in the end MC's familly is kinda complicated I guess🤔

A nice interesting and heartwarmingly, sugar coated story.

I don't think anyone could hate this story.

A cute high school love story between the two enemy's who later became lovers and their rebirth.

Both the MC and ML were amazingly wonderful and sweet beyond words.

I just felt the story a bit too long for me, but anyway amazing story with loads of friendship and familial support.

And the extras ohh I love them. Thanks author and translators for ur amazing work.

I really liked it! It was heartwarming, with high achievers tutoring the delinquents and becoming friends along the way and the butterfly effects from that, the cute romance that made me go aww and the humour that made me smile and laugh the entire way.

Translation/Writing

This was done by Chrysanthemum Garden, a group of translators and editors so the translation is very polished! There was, I think, only one error that appeared right at the end ish. The flow is very good, all the idioms the translator worked hard to... more>> make them understandable in English and also fit the flow of the sentences XD The format of the writing also fit the comedic timing of the story very effectively too haha. Basically, if I didn't know this was fan translated, I would have thought it was an official one.

Plot

We follow a 30-year old established couple reborn back to their last year of high school when everything went wrong in their lives and everyone close to them. They basically just want to be sticky with each other since the day they were reborn was the day they were to be married. Along the way, they also want to avoid all the bad decisions back then to make sure all the people they love are on the right track instead. It ends with the college exams and coming out about their relationship to the close family and friends casually lolol. The extras are a direct sequel to the main story plus an additional pov of the MC's badass older sister haha. And a wedding for the cp at the last chapter <3

Themes/What Story Tried to Achieve

Ahhh, this story basically did everything right, I feel moved. This is a high school to college story so there is high school drama with studying and exams and crushes and stuff. Also, this story is the first web novel I've read that has comedy in it! I basically laughed at every chapter. Most of it, if I didn't laugh, I at least quirked a smile with humour. This was a joy to read because it gave such warm and positive feelings the entire time.

The tutoring, studying, and exams part was one of the better executed in these types of stories I've read. There was gradual improvement, believable steps were taken to improve and the details of the subjects were even expanded on! For example, one of the side characters had to declare and explain the problem they still couldn't solve more than five times on the broadcast system in school in detail. It blended into the flow of the story, was in character for that side character and also added comedic effect to the story. With this detailed example of a subject being studied, I was made to believe in the realness of them studying subjects with the knowledge that exists in the story. In lots of these types of CN novels I've read, they just say the MC studied every free time, improved on their weak subjects from morning till night in between working part-time and romance but we never got any content on the subjects at all. So the whole learning part didn't quite sink in for me. Here it very much did, even if that was the only time it gave some content for the characters to learn. With that example, I know the author did some research or thought hard about this aspect of the story and so I had faith in the world they created.

Friendship. Ahh, the brotherhood and juvenile friendship between high schoolers was definitely one of the main stars of this story. The comedic scenes derive from the friendship and the helping actions of the main cp also majorly came from this friendship. And the heartwarming scenes all also came from this friendship haha.

The family drama and angst were not heavy at all! But still gave enough depth to the main couple and also helped me empathise with them which made me invested in them as characters more.

As for the romance, I'll leave it for the Characters section because it is so integral to the characters themselves haha.

Pacing

The pacing was pretty dang smooth the entire way. Nothing felt rushed even at the end when other CN novels can't get the climax and the ending of the novel quite right. The only issue I had was at the very beginning, like 15 chapters in, when I was getting to know the characters and the premise of the story. It was almost pure humour and comedic misunderstandings. I'm not a fan of misunderstandings as a plot device and I wasn't quite into the story or any of the characters yet, so while the humour was funny, it wasn't quite laugh out loud funny yet. So the beginning was a bit slow for me but I believe it's just my personal taste haha. The rest of the story got good.

Characters

Ahhh, the main cp is quite refreshing! There isn't really a shou that I can see in both attitude and actions. Both are mature and confident that they are ALREADY in a relationship together. And they were from an enemies-to-lovers type of couple haha. They spent a decade figuring things out, mending old hurts and injuries already. But now they are back, they can figure out more things they didn't realise as kids that were happening and then healing from it all together. Ahh, it's very nice to read about a couple who have long had each other's backs, know of the love each has for the other and shamelessly show their love to each other! When I read at the beginning during the before plane takeoff, how the MC noticed that the tough ML's hands were trembling because he was still nervous about finally getting married, ahh, I was totally sold on them as characters and their romance hahaha.

All the side characters are the other half of the whole story! Without them, this would be a completely different story, that's how prominent and important they all are. The interactions they all have are the source of all the humour and the warmth in this plot! They feel unique, real and have so much character hahaha. I also really really love that the MC and ML care about them very much and it is straight up mentioned in the story. In other novels, the only people in the CP's line of sight are each other. Like, the MC cares about the family of the ML but really only because the ML cares about the family. Here, they have family and friends of each other that they have honestly taken into their hearts. This is nice haha

As for the villains, good! They are very good villains, when they appear, their small mindedness, self entitlement and small minded selfish plans to raise themselves up by putting others down was so annoying. I love reading how their meticulous plans all got dashed and then they got karma. And they were all handled by the cp haha. I also like how the author loves to torture them lolol They could have gotten the big faceslapping at the end with the cp all present for maximum gloating.... but eh, I didn't really mind not having it because the smaller faceslapping that occurs for a longer length of time was satisfying haha

Cute! Has a fresh reincarnation premise with both leads returned to the past. It's also a rare 'established relationship' novel, and it was sweet to see their steady relationship be the rock in other tumult. Only not a 5 star because it was such a comfort read that it packed something to blow me away. Major pro: well written and fleshed out female characters!

This story is hilarious, not because of ML and MC, but because of their friends. They have questionable IQs, and their logic seems very wrong; their conjectures are way too funny, but they are still cute.

MC and ML are strong, independent people who are also a bit shameless. I loved their interactions and flirting, as well as how MC indulged ML. MC and ML were together from the beginning, so there is a considerable amount of dog food. In their past lives, they made a few mistakes that led their... more>> lives in the wrong direction. They were young, impulsive, and naive. Now that they have a second chance, they will use it smartly. It's just that when they were younger, they couldn't stand each other and caused a lot of trouble, so now their actions seem too suspicious.

I really loved the story. This was light reading, without drama, but still enjoyable because of comedy and fluff. Sometimes it is nice to read a sweet story that doesn't cause high blood pressure and headaches because of angst and drama. <<less

Completely hilarious. I chuckled my way through the entire novel. MC and ML are in love throughout the novel and their relationship is completely stable but it’s never boring. The novel shows MC and ML reliving their senior year in high school and basically fixing all the mistakes they made with their own lives as well as that of their friends’ and families’ lives, and the entire journey is just very adorable and very very funny.

When they come put of closets to their friends and families so confidently each time then make them eat their dog food was so funny and wad the highlights of this novel.

I love them both, so loving and supporting of each other. It was so natural their love.

Alot of fluff, its fun and very good feeling novel that would take one day to read I love it very much

It is a great novel to pass your time. It's a story full of fluffy moments and is really funny too. Both Lian Qian and Zheng PingQing had a lot of regrets in their past life (especially ZPQ). When they got reborn on the day from when everything started to go downhill in their previous lives, they were adamant in not making the same mistakes as their past. Due to this everyone who got effected in their past life are happy and living a good life now due to just... more>> a bit of change in the decisions. They learnt the importance of time and the moments which should not be passed and also those which are not worth giving importance to. Everyone is not as lucky as them, ah, to get a chance to relive their life and correct their mistakes.

So, it's a story full of blissful but hardworking life of are very own Ah Qian and Hardworking Zheng 😁. They are a very strong couple who didn't got deterred with any hurdles or gains. They remained loyal and focused on each other above anything else till the very end. It's a very endearing story. <<less

I don't know how to describe how refreshing this story is. Although it isn't entirely lighthearted, it does trend more toward cheekiness than angst, but that doesn't mean there aren't any.

This work may be classified as a comedy, however I was frustrated by the first few chapters. I'm more of a serious-genre-type-of-person, and although I enjoy certain humorous overtones, the misunderstandings became monotonous and annoyed me. But don't take it too seriously; I'm pleased I didn't abandon the story and kept reading.

This story is about two middle-aged men who attempt... more>> to save and improve the lives of many people around them, reverse the sad and squandered ends and fates they had, and reunite with alienated characters from the past.

The narrative takes place on a campus/high school where everyone is still young and naive, and the bulk of them have brain holes.

The main character is very calm and reliable; the fact that he decided to aid his friends and students with whom he was unfamiliar, despite the fact that he might have chosen not to, demonstrates that he is a nice guy.

Not to mention our male lead, who also assisted the main character in achieving his goals and wished to improve the lives of his friends and those he was alienated from. He's one of the characters who brightens the plot; he's flirtatious and amusing, but also bossy and dependable.

They're so cute it makes you envy, and they've been together since the beginning, so you don't have to worry about any stumbling blocks. Their interactions are one of the things that lighten the narrative; it's quite fluffy, and they both rely on and appreciate each other.

The supporting characters make the novel so much better and funnier; these were the individuals the main character and male lead were attempting to save and help from the bitter and tragic ending they had in their previous lives, and the plot centers around them in some ways.

It's melancholy to witness how the characters' destinies have altered compared to their previous lives, how they've all reconciled with one other, and how they all live happily ever after. Overall, this narrative may be described as light and sweet, yet it also has sad and angsty times. If you're seeking for a romance novel, this will most likely fit the bill, maybe. <<less

Sweet and hilarious! God, I love all the misunderstandings.

I absolutely adore the side characters and how they react to the whole gayness of the two MCs. This novel is a slice-of-life with little to no drama.

I'd like to say that I love Lin Qian's sister. She's a queen, which is highly highlighted on the extras.

I MEAN I'M NOT ASKING FOR THE EXPLICITS (WHICH WOULD TOTALLY BE OKAY BTW) BUTTTTT For all the horniness of one of the MCs (I'm talking about Zheng Pingqing), the awaited papapa scene was a time-skip. I know, I know, 😌 the novel is innocent and it's not in their theme to add such a scene, BUT I'm just saying that the author could add, I dunno, some metaphors?😚👉👈 instead of just skipping it altogether, maybe some words to fire off the reader's dirty neurons? God, what am I even saying 😂

Overall, I love this novel and would gladly rate it a 4.8/5. Why? Because;

This is a light and fun slice-of-life read with hilarious teenage chuuni behaviour. Despite all the teen silliness, this is possibly the most realistic and challenging rebirth setting, because the 2 protags have to go through school curriculum all over again, not so easy when you have middle-aged brains. Adult and teenage brain circuits are very different and author emphasizes a lot the contrasts between the protags (with adult brains) and their teen friends (with chuuni brains). This really is one of those fun relaxing novels, with 2 wonderful protags... more>> and a cast of hilarious side characters. <<less

This was very enjoyable read. The two protagonists are very much in love and very easy going, despite having both died and gone back in time. Their mutual friends are funny and fun to watch, with their unique personalities. There is hardly any angst and the ride from start to finish is smooth. I would highly recommend this story for anyone looking for a feel good story.

Absolutely hilarious! The main CP are great together and any conflicts in the story aren't between them. Having them together from the start isn't something that i've every seen and the time travel together is also something new for me so I loved that aspect of the story.

All the side characters were so funny and I loved how they all interacted with each other and the main CP. Especially with the misunderstandings and trying to keep the main CP relationship secret. The family parts were also funny and the big... more>> reveal at end, I loved it!.

I also loved how when even when the main CP were enemies in the first life they still subconsciously cared about each other, as the saying goes - there's a fine line between love and hatred. I also thought that the main reason of the original fight was something so small that neither of them were even directly involved in and how it snowballed into something as big as it was in the first life. The ending and the extras were all so good! The only thing I dont like is that it ended! It definitely could keep going with the extras, or have more chapters in the middle. It is a slice of like romcom so dont expect anything deep or dramatic but its really funny so its not boring, it gets a bit repetitive but I think the outside conflicts pushed the story along.

Would highly recommend this! I would read this more than once, its so good! <<less

This is by far my favorite book in this trope!

I went in expecting a lighthearted story with a cute couple and that's exactly what I got, although, the plot was much much better (and slightly more complex) than I ever expected, it was a very pleasant surprise.

I loved it so much because I didn't take it seriously, which I'm assuming is what the author intended. It's a fun story with a slightly large set of side characters (kind of expected with two friend groups in high school merging together) with... more>> a lot of situations that would never happen in real life, if you don't mind suspending your disbelief for a bit and laughing along, you'll enjoy it a lot! <<less

Super super fluff piece but so funny !

There is so much dog food that you be so full !

I enjoyed this light reading a lot. The translation is top-notch and the story is just too sweet. Basically both MC and ML were reborn back to their high school days and both retain their memories which means they are together from the start. No smut, just romance and sweet gestures all the way.
