Initial premise was interesting. MC's character was weak (simp, manipulated, no backbone). Could have done some interesting character development.

Instead we get Cliche of Cliches. Typical turn your brain off chinese face-slapping novel. Returning grievances 100-fold. Inconsistent MC. Insecure to the point that he doesn't take care of himself (apparently he's uber handsome but no one realized because he dressed poorly and didn't get a haircut) but confident enough to pursue the campus belle for YEARS while being disparaged.

To enjoy this you either have to turn your brain off or actively... more>> look for the cliches and inconsistencies, of which there are plenty, to laugh about. If you made it a drinking game you would need an ambulance after 10 chapters.

The only thing that keeps me is to find out why the woman is a yandere in the first place. And why the MC? Seriously, WHY?

Also, how are you getting averages in the first hour??? Average subscriptions per minute? Dude needs to go back to school and do research to add depth to his work. <<less

The base of the novel is not bad but the annoyances keep piling up.

I do not mind the MC being op as f*ck, that is just the kind of novel it is but because the dude is laughably loyal the story needs to come up with completely s*upid ways to make the love interest jealous.

Like him investigating a hot chick and even specifically looking up stuff like her romantic life (he wants to hire her). And when the love interests comes in and starts talking about how many boyfriends that... more>> chick had and so on the dude still does not grasp that she thinks he is interested in her. Despite him knowing that she finds any contact with women unacceptable.

And then there is the setup, he was killed by his cheating wife and her lover... how?

The love interest is a straight up crazed yandere stalker. Yeah sure, she let him marry the chick because he threatened to kill himself.

But his wife literally cheated on him right before the wedding and if you were spying on her it was not hard to find out.

So you are telling me that the chick, who's singular purpose in life is to be with that dude, was never even remotely keeping tabs on the chick she despised and he wanted to marry?

And then there is of course the part where the love interest keeps thinking that he is just being with her to protect the woman he almost married because he was completely into her until that day. He does not even once even mention to her that the chick cheated on him or anything else that can easily convince the love interest that he does not like her anymore.

There is also the matter of the mc's best friend. He essentially never spends time with him and their conversations boil down to the MC bragging about how good his life is. Which yeah, fair enough but the MC just wants to spend time with the love interest and completely neglects his supposed best friend.

Lastly there is the latest plot point introduced. Something those yandere stories tend to love. Introduce a chick interested in the MC... that is actually likeable. The problem with such straight yandere stories are that it's hard to balance how likeable they are. An easy solution is to make most other people involved with the MC unlikeable. If the yandere f*cks over people that the reader dislikes there is no problem. Thing is when the story introduces actually likeable characters that get f*cked over by the yandere, sure, that fit's the character but also is bad for her likeability. Especially if the story does not act like it's unlikeable.

So yeah, the story is entertaining enough but the author clearly had no clue how to actually stretch the novel and it suffers for it. <<less

The story is very straightforward, it's about a yandere tycoon (FML) forcing the MC to marriage.

For what it is worth, it is an enjoyable read. There are no tension to the story and it's all face slap, and the romantic antics of the MC and FML as the FML is very clingy of him. THere is not much to expect for the story as there are no upsides or downsides to the story; It's literally a story about yandere FML going to get her way with the MC. There are... more>> no twists as it is all the same formula in the end, meet someone, the peanut gallery gossips, insults get thrown and then everyone breathes in amazement as the MC with "immortal aura" gets their knees jelly.

One of the pros imo, the system isn't such a huge chunk of wall of texts that displays his status every 2 or 3 chapters. MC also isn't throwing insults to his system for every half a chapter or calling out the dog system because he hasn't gotten godlike powers by breathing.

Overall, it's just plain enjoyable read. It is not that groundbreaking but nevertheless not a waste of time to read.

It's extra funny when as per usual trope, some charas would try and ruin the FL and MC's relationship, yet all the FL wants to do is

Update: Have read further to 400s and by 200s the story suffers a lot. The author is blatantly extending the word count and recycling the usual. It's usually okay, but this one the author clearly has nothing else in store that the story just goes stale. The FL is also becoming increasingly unlikable with all the redundant parts she keeps doing. -2* for me

she'd seduce the MC and then MC makes an internal monologue about being s**ked dry. I mentioned that one of the pros is that the MC ain't b*tching about the system for every half a chapter, well, that gets replaced with this.

Its going good the ML has a system but its not the main focus and there is development between the ML and FL I just hope that it doesn't become a tr*sh which doesn't even end after 5000+ chapters the chemistry between them is good.

The characters are genuinely written like how you would expect. The ml's friend is actually supporting as well as jealous while the hatters are actually hating for now reason other than a few things none of the characters look forced. The plot armor goes brrr everytime... more>> when something is about to go wrong but it is still fun and atleast consistent throughout rather than once in a blue moon scenario.

the best friend just jokingly calls the fML as sister-in-law and she is so pleased that she just straight off gives him money. The ML tries to get revenge on his family and the annoying girlfriend in the most satisfying way possible

I will be honest the plot where I stopped reading at is just annoying to read.

This is the usual yandere but because it's also a Chinese urban billionaire, big cars and supreme money power stories with cartoonish evil people to make artificial conflict it makes it way more unbearable in some instances.

Even the latest chapter is just making a more likable rich girl that I personally liked to be this "irredeemable monster" that is shown to like the MC genuinely but the author makes it very convenient that the MC... more>> has suffered at het hands in his still expanding past (to make other people seem bad) and transform her into this bad person with cheap additions.

Also -200 points for black hair on the main girl <<less
