After possessing the villain and nearly dying at the hands of my favorite character, who I’d given my heart and soul to, the story somehow managed to reach an ending.

It's very interesting. They got through the backstory at a high pace but not so much it felt like a summary and then we got back to the end of the introduction. The esper setting is light but for once it focuses on organisation rather than dungeon beating.

There's not much romance for now but the relationship between the leads is evolving. It's all about trust and lack of trust and admiration on both sides. I'm really curious about the future development.

... more>> Don’t have high expectations for this one. It feels more like an unfinished piece than a cohesive story. The pacing is odd, and the characters lack charm; they are extremely one-dimensional. Events occur simply for the sake of happening, lacking meaning or depth.

I won’t go into detail, but there is much to be dissatisfied with. The novel is rough around the edges and not worth your time if you have other novels lined up to read. The dialogue is poorly written, lacking the natural flow that would make interactions feel somewhat authentic. The world-building is sparse at best.

Instead of twists or surprises, the story falls into predictable patterns that diminish any sense of anticipation. The sentences often feel awkward, and the scenes are written in a way that makes it difficult to stay engaged.

Overall, the writing lacks the emotional depth needed to connect with the characters and feel invested in their relationship. Moreover, the pacing issues undermine the overall structure of the novel. <<less

Role in story: Well he is a nice guy and on the top of that he fangirls over ml. In novel his role was to a senior ML respects and then a hidden villain at the end of the story. But look he likes the protagonist of the story so much that he actually took him in. He gave protagonist aka ML everything. A nice house, a good friend another guy he brought, spoil him with riches but he kept a limited contact but still he changed the og story by become a close friend and mentor.


Personality: I liked his chill personality. Even after ML finding out his true identity When ML came to find him he was chill like "oh you want some chocolates or coke" "how about dinner?" Completely forgetting the fact that they had a fight to death the other day.

MC and ML have no chemistry and MC basically ruined his entire life for an apathetic ML who forces him to be his assistant. It’s just awkward and weird. The relationship doesn’t seem especially toxic per se but... I felt disgusted by both the MC and ML’s interactions and felt it would’ve been a lot better if the MC instead moved on from dedicating his entire life to the ML and found some happiness himself rather than be forcefully shackled back to the ML.

Interesting premise but the complete lack of... more>> plot and characters makes it basically unreadable to me. <<less
