The battles and conflicts are repetitive but the story seems to be going in a direction that I find enjoyable.

You don't have crappy r*pe or ntr in it like in some tasteless novels.

For a "generic" cultivation novel I'd say it's really good. No real groundbreaking edge to the tale but you have a wholesome story with a fallen God-class Cultivator who isn't afraid to kill the enemies that are s*upid enough to get in his way.
