This story was almost perfect wish-fulfillment haha. I mean ML and MC are OP af, some of the most beautiful and powerful people, devoted to each other, HEA ending with sweet child, fated since childhood, it's so unrealistic and I LOVE it!! Sweet sweet escapism. Also there's an actual explanation for her reincarnation!! Family was a little annoying and FL sooo slow to fall but overall satisfying. This novel has ruined other books for me, such a strong heroine! Translation is superb as well!!!

Novel not recommended to read, much less review.

Spoiler summary: Female MC marries the evil crown prince because in this world apparently females can’t do anything and she loves being with the man who had her family killed. She doesn’t even attempt to kill the s*um prince but instead immediately felt sympathetic. Extremely shallow. -300tril/10.

I dropped it because the MC was really annoying and frustrating & quite frankly, an idiot. She kept flip flopping and not taking any action. Her revenge plot was weak. She wanted to change things, but didn't want to change things at the same time. The resolve just isn't there. I honestly don't understand how this has 58% of 5 star ratings.

This is hella good!! The character development is great. The plot itself is great. The villains are great. MC and ML are not perfect. They have times when they lose. The villains are cunning and smart, it is not guaranteed that they will lose for every match.

As for the romance, it's very slow-paced. The MC lacks confidence in herself that ML would like her. However, once they overcome that obstacle and confess their feelings to each other. The romance will make you swoon! I... more>> can feel the love through the sentences.

Rebirth novel is absolutely my favorite type of novel. This one is no exception. Although it's not perfect but I still enjoy it, especially the art (OMG, the art is so beautiful).

The story evolves around Elena Blaise (MC), who is reborn after being killed by her arch nemesis, Pevluc (ML's uncle). This time, Elena decides to save the crown prince, Carlisle (ML), who was killed in her pervious life thus make a kingdom lose a suitable heir for the throne and resulting Pevluc to be a king.

In the previous life,... more>> after her family was massacred, Elena became a knight in order to get revenge for her family. The knight's ability from her previous life remains in her current life and she uses it to protect Carlisle. She is suppossed to be a strong female lead who can make a change but instead in her current life, she becomes timid, especially in front of her father and Carlisle.

Carlisle is your typical prince: handsome, cold, and a bit creepy. He inherited a dragon curse which can make him turn into bloodthirsty human-dragon.

In MC current life, she decides to marry ML so she can protect him better. She's oblivious that ML loves her for real (she's ML first love). And also the reason behind her rebirth is ML's wish on his dragon's orb (he wishes her to be safe and not dying).

I do love this series that I started to binge read the series in two days and finished reading. That it is fun to read.

Elena Ruford nee Blaise Main Character is very badass woman who wanted to protect her family by marrying the Crown Prince of Ruford Carlisle Van Dimitri Ruford. She is good at wielding her sword I do feel like her weakness is to protect her family only to get caught in the hands of the main antagonist. Towards the climax of the story she becomes... more>> Empress of Ruford Empire after Emperor Sullivan died in the long term illness. She is a badass as well.

Carlisle Van Dimitri Ruford is a very well written Male Lead that he does not want Elena his wife to be in danger plus he is very handsome.

The Main antagonist so far was a well written character. He hide his true intentions from the beginning to watch the Carlisle and Ophelia destroy each other and appeared as the Final boss that was taken down by Elena when she finally has her revenge against the Grand Duke

It's very well done. The translation is good. The flow of the story is good. But it's quite a bit long, it kinda drags a lil bit.

The interaction of the mc's are sweet. I really like it, you can see (or rather, read) the chemistry between them. The thing I like the most is that the ML is not controlling the fl. He's protective of her, but not to the point of constricting her freedom.

Not so bad yet just good hahaha I tend to skip the boring parts especially mirabelle love story. You can already guess some plots and twist. So if you already read many novels with the same kind of genre you will find it boring and if you just started reading this kind of genre then I think its bearable.

*directors voice* okaaaaaayy people, places! annnndddd... start!

howdy kids! today, we've arrived at Return of the Female Knight, a battlefield-ridden, incredibly-attractive-male-lead, an-equally-attractive-female-lead, sprinkled with daddy issues, ride of a novel!!! YAY!

my rating on this ride is 3.5 stars, and that's because it was short, sweet, romance-ridden, and a male lead who DIDN'T commit any creepy, breaking-the-boundaries, weird sh*t. amen, Jesus.

I'm not going to do a super-intense-over-analysis on this novel cause if I did, we'd be here for a while, but this novel is like popcorn. a good filler, something people... more>> always lean to when choosing snacks/novels. there was no over-the-top scheming (although I do enjoy that) and while the FL did have a tiny bit of a halo, she experiences her fair share of failure.

while some of the characters don't evolve at all, or act more like a child (Mirabelle) or have a stereotypical disease of 'my wife died so I treat my eldest daughter badly' (good old' Father)

kuraha9 told us to give it a comment at chapter 1, although I am indeed intended to wait until the chapters goes to 100+... but now Im mad.. I should not listen to him, because now I keep clicking next and next.. till there is no chapter left.. Now im like the rest of you, tormented to wait next chapter.. damn, this novel is a first for me to have a great visual presentation and good mature romance story.. I mean, there is visual icon for each conversation, remind me... more>> of old novel game on my PC.. very easy to read, and help a lot creating an imaginative scene for the character. This is what you can recognized as beautiful female lead indeed! <<less

I wondered which novel would be the one I dropped for the first time. Congratulations! This takes the spot. I've read some cheesy romance, but at least that had some redeeming qualities in other ways. However this is just pure tr*sh. MC is big ruthless mass mu*derer big scary so scary insane blood gore kill kill kill battler maniac, but GOD FORBID someone try to ruin her because then she immediately becomes the second coming of christ with the amount of mercy she has. The ML is f*cking disgusting. More... more>> so than others I've seen up until this point. I don't like the forceful characteristic which many novels use, but at least those usually transform and get out of the weird phase. But this one makes me just f*cking puke. Right off the bat ML is just a pure pe*vert and is an arrogant a**hole. FL isn't much better when the ML is holding a megaphone to her ear, screaming 'I WANT TO F*CK YOU' and then FL thinks 'Hmm, does he like me? Surely not.'. God, this was annoying. I usually read stuff through, but this is just, wow. Definitely agree that the 5* reviews are bots. <<less

Finally completed.

At first, I thought I will base and depend to other’s comments. But I felt that its a quite nice novel actually.

Contradictory from what they said that the FL is very weak character. No! She actually a very smart and strong woman.

... more>> the romance is so cute and very sweet.

It’s a nice and heartwarming story and romance. I love how the ML love the FL. Although he is being possessive of her, he still let her do what she wants to do and let her fight her own battle.

She actually uses her intelligence from her last life. So its ok!

i recommend this one.

Such a strong way for the author to describe a feeling of 20years hardship and longing after going back to the character’s past self.

It was so tragic for her. Such a nice way of description. <<less

started out interesting but slowly the FL just gets more and more confusing. And the author keeps tellimg us that how awesome of a swordswoman she is but like, the girl could barely formulate a any good tactical decision. She has to be saved by the ML most of the time when she gets in a mess. Her family was just a chore to read about. Like I get why she loved her siblings but the dad was just a s*umbag for no reason?? Like, dude? What is your malfunction?... more>> It feels like a ploy to make us feel bad about the fl. But it really isn't needed? We already feel bad for her. The author could just have given her a very strong foundation aside from her little sis so that we could truly see why she was thirsty for revenge when she lost them. Or you know, she could have just omitted the dad as her reason for revenge. She could have just seen him as a piece of funiture and be done with.

i mean, she already thought that she would smear the ground she walked with the blood of her enemies. Which implies that she'd be ruthless about her revenge. Either do what you say or just f*ck off with your bs.

she let a dicey maid who had a history of spreading her master's dirty laundry get away. Which led for her to go to one of her enemies. Dumb move fl.

the sister was cute but kinda too dumb to live at times. Perfect for those novels that stars dumb MCs who does more harm than good. I am kinda confused how old she is. The author can't seem to decide with how she acts. Sometimes 5, sometimes 15. Her characterization just kept flipflopping.

I really enjoyed reading this romance, and am re-reading it. Not sure why all the bad reviews, although I have to admit the beginning is rather boring. Stick with it and as the relationship develops and becomes very cute. There are parts to the story where it doesn't flow smoothly, as if how can that happen. But then this is a web novel and is suppose to be entertaining.

I really enjoyed this story. Not for everyone though. This is not heavily female-as-a-knight focused and that element is more so something that MC utilizes throughout the plot. If you want great character development this is not for you. This is for someone who wants to read a good novel with a fair plot and a cold possessive ML who very much respects the MC and allows her to support him equally. Another great element I appreciated is that the MC loves her family and has a great relationship with... more>> them (minus her father, but that developed thought the story in a way that makes sense).

Plot wise, the story pacing and plot progression MADE SENSE, something I find that is lacking especially in this genre.

Character wise, while they could have been more developed, nothing reads as outlandish and their relationships are sensible, you don't go asking yourself, 'well why are they doing this' and while the MC and ML's relationship has some misunderstandings, they aren't so much misunderstandings as they are just general lack of understanding and they don't hinder their relationship, as it is still developing so much when they occur. <<less

Although I have read bad reviews eventually I give it a try AND I COULD NOT STOP READING. I spent 3 days reading them all (T0T).

For me personally, the story is good and well-paced.

I like FL and her sister's good relationship (I am just tired of sick-sister-jealous-of-her-big-sis trope) and FL's family is an okay family, no drama or stepmom whatever. FL's sister as a side character also grows throughout the story, even has a sweet-bitter romance line.

The first 1/3 of the story the FL misunderstand ML's feelings but eventually will... more>> be solved at the right time (hang in there, readers). Imo FL grows a lot.

I started to read due to manhwa, the premise is good, but the development not so much, some developments do not make much sense if you think about it for a bit, 2 examples without giving spoilers, she asks the prince to not go to a certain place because its not safe, prince says he has to go, dude goes to that place stuff happens and then he leaves the place saying "i do whatever I want I can leave this place" like wtf

another one that made me stop, that... more>> people mentioned in the review, the maid started badmouthing her, she decides to fight and also bad mouth, in the end both sides get bad mouthed, and she noticed her plan is not that great, then the prince appears out of nowhere to save the day and explain and clear her reputation.

Also it didnt made much sense that she didnt wanted for the relationship to be start before the party she says its because of her secrety identity, but no one would think that a delicate dame would be that knight.... I would also argue that her secret identity does not have much merit since she will be targeted because she's the prince fiance, but I think the author will create a scenario to justify that.

Another big problem is the yandere ML, its very monotome he only talks about his obsession about MC and how he's agressive to anyone besides her, and the author tries (fails) to portrait that as cool, its a very boring character. Btw in terms of character the story is very weak. <<less

Honestly, this was a boring read for me. Sure I laughed at some scenes (which only happens 1/10 of the time) and I felt giddy at some interactions but I guess the whole flow just doesn't sit that well to me.

About the plot, I thought this is centered around revenge to Paveluc and power play with the Empress but it's more like ✨romance✨ and a little bit of revenge story. I also kind of expected more action from Elena as an escort knight and more actual life threatening events other... more>> than obvious assassination attempts. You get me?

Elena is OP for her untrained body and even if she started training it was too short of a time to be able to reach that level. She may have obtained her prev life's instinct and mental fortitude but I believe the training she did in her 2nd life is just enough to make her fit compared to a normal noble lady.

As for Caril, he was described as the strongest but I can't honestly feel it from his performances. Another thing is his exaggerated tendencies of possessiveness and madness for Elena. I cringe at his exaggerated affection sometimes.

For Mirabelle, this girl's persistence and stubbornness really annoyed me. I pity her but her actions towards Khun is just plain annoying and childish to me that it doesn't even appeal cute to me.

Well Khun is... well he's okay for me.

I like Harry Klauss to be honest. I don't want him for Mirabelle but I like his personality!!!

And lastly, Crow was cute. <<less

I found the MC too much of a Mary Sue for my tastes. Especially toward the end Elena was not only overpowered, but also accomplishing feats that seemed more suited to other characters in the story. Still, a fun story if you are looking for romance without faceslapping.
