MC crosses over from another reality where he was Tangmen, has gamer attributes and skills instead of abilities, is betrayed and sold to a lab where he is experimented on to destruction. Reborn the day before the end of the world he seeks out the only person who never betrayed him in his last life, even though the guy is only 7-8 years old now (MC is 20). ML is the kid who is a typical powerful, possessive, obsessive yandere type. (Kills the people around the MC for looking too long at him).

his party includes the psycho ML (8), a little girl who makes puppets using human eyes (7) and a child spiritualist (10) who makes, binds and uses ghosts and devils and talismans and the like. They're all loyal to him and scary to everyone else, though the fact that he's running around with three kids does make people lower their defenses against them at the start.

MC is just as dark and twisted as the kids, wanting his revenge. The scenes where they psychologically torture the Dr. And the lab assistants who killed him is well done and disturbing because the Dr doesn't realize the killer is them until the end. Turns out he was betrayed because the thunder guy thought "if I can't have you no one can." disappointingly stereotypical and banal.

The dad s*x play is icky. Not sure why he forced the kid to call him dad in the first place when he obviously wasn't. I think it's just in there for the kink factor.

For once the cause was a tree and not a virus or some kind of space parasite. MC burns down the tree because he's the only one without abilities so he's the only one still on his feet as they get closer. Actually there are more than one tree and he always goes alone to burn them down. Some late story nationalism and racism knocked the story down a notch; can't help that china is so much better than all the other countries and sells his help at a high price, thwarting the evil Americans who are too s*upid and unlucky to figure out how to destroy their origin trees.

If not for the daddy kink and the nationalism and racism this would be a 4.5.

The 15 y.o ML is the one who push MC to love him, , and MC love him (imo, he just accepting it cause, who don't want to be loved like that?? Altho it's also kind of obsession at least ML didn't act like psycho towards MC) after he realized how ML already so handsome and powerful after he grown up (MC become conscious of ML), ,

Also, it's not like MC really think he is the father of ML, , he just involved in raising him (so more like a caretaker) and he decided that a figure of father is more convenient, , but ML didn't buy that obviously, , he still love MC like ordinary lover do, ,

The tree of origin whatnot still confused me, , from where the hell those tree appear? Is it just suddenly grow out of nowhere or someone planted it?

revenge against the ones who betrayed MC in the past is done.. and its the japanese invasion arc pls loool well I understand I grew up watching scary japanese soldiers ww2 movies but the arc is kind of :/ not in good taste? and idk ML at this time is 15 but he’s already confessed to and kissed middle aged (if add last life) MC aahahahaha ok
