Tldr : Amazing, realistic, rugged not too overpowered MC, historically accurate, fleshed world and characters. Translation can be a bit... Confusing but nothing that can affect the enjoyment of reading.

Amazing. The story start a bit abruptly, there wasn't even any introduction of the MC until the other characters talked about him. The MC past is kinda vague, but so far in Chapter 10 we get a flashback of his trauma.

The MC is not too overpowered, he is basically a modern human thrown into medieval time and unlike the usual romanticism... more>> of the old times, this novel vividly show how awful it is to live at that time compared to modern time.

10 chapters is not enough to dwell on other characters, but so far the most memorable character is Hana, the innkeeper. And unlike the usual dere japanese and Korean lightnovel use, she's cheeky, and seems to be able to hold her ground despite being a normal citizen unless violence is involved. I love how she didn't scream in anger over pe*verted guys like other novels, she instead realistically try to smile and de-escelate the situation, deflect their touch but not being too rude about it etc. such realism, that's how women who serve customers usually behave in real world.

Damn I didn't realise I accidentally put 2 stars. Im still new in this website and I have no idea what iam doing I was trying to rate it 5 stars TT

Edit : After reading about 40 chapters, I'd say all the characters are pretty fleshed, at least as far as Iam reading. Even the insignificant character would come back, all the characters mentioned have their own stories and personality, the MC feels pretty real life like.

Oh, if you love mediaval facts, you would LOVE this novel. They depict it clearly how b*heading is a 'sport' loved by people, yet the executioner are hated, isolated, and their job was passed down after generations. How bathing and hygenie is actually an issue, how iron is actually expensive, how ragged guards are actually very far from the knight like often depicted in fairytales.

The author make the world feel alive without feeling like you're being info dumped, pretty accurate with history but with magic also involved. But so far we dont have much interaction with nobles.

If you love history, want a rugged, brutish, manly main character without cheat, yet actually come from modern earth (but so far he haven't try to capitalise on it yet), a bit crazy yet a bit caring towards his juniors etc, this novel is for you!

I have so much praise about this novel I have been refreshing this site for days just to wait for new chapter! <<less
