MC does regain his memories later, but plays along the role of a sweet boyfriend for a while longer. he secretly contacts his old subordinates to investigate the culprit behind his crash. MC wants to orchastrate a dramatic exit that will out both the culprit and give him an out from the company he was managing, partly because MC likes ML back and wants to continue this fake relationship and partly because he despises the company and wants to wash his hands of it. the plan goes sideways, ML is shot and MC is framed for attempted mu*der. but MC manages to clear his name, jails the person responsible for his plane crash and ml's shooting, and passes his company to his fake fiance before divorcing her and marrying ml. they live happily every after!

especially when he was blackmailing that waiter boy.

another bit that I loved was when readers were sure that antu gained his memories again and played around in front of xie duos cameras, covertly showing how he knew about the bugged phones and hidden cameras all along. but then he would obediently always come back to xie duo and pretend nothing happened and continued his obedient antu act. idk why but those parts where xie duo knows but they both tactly avoid confronting it, were absolutely thrilling to me. its like pulling a string taut but letting it go instead of snapping it. this back and forth game happens a few more times, until shen antu finally fesses up.

as for the memory reveal, it actually happened far earlier than I thought it did! and when I initially read over that part I didnt suspect a thing. I noticed how the author gradually steered away from 'showing' us shen antu's pov and switching to xie duos pov more often during that transition between shen antu regaining his memories and readers learning that he gained his memories 20+ chapters after the fact.

the 'reveal' part was a bit weird pacing wise imo. shen antu broke in a high security private hospital (by taking xie duo's cousin hostage with a fake gun lmao???) and then after a tense heartfelt moment he threw himself on a long tirade where he reveals his entire past that I felt it was shoehorned in. and the crazy absurd thing is that police and xie duos parents were outside his ward just.. standing around and making no attempt to break in and capture shen antu knowing he has a gun LOL

lovedddd the extras. normally not a fan of long flashback retellings in extras but this one was unique in that xie duo got transported in the past and kept his memories, using that omniscience to redo the past ten years where he regretted not getting close to antu. he got to confess and date his heartschool sweetheart and got a experience a life where he had no more regrets <3 young antu is so cute and fiesty...

not a fan of the author constantly going 'surperior nordic genes' whenever simon appears. like maam tone it down with the eurocentricism please

(MC did actually have amnesia but he remembers by ch25 ish).

as it ended up being like a little black box play where the supposed victim is actually entirely willing to jump in on his own

Basically since Shen Antu is hiding his sharp and more vicious side, he acts more helpless in bed and will cry for Xie Dou to stop, but once he sheds this layer he takes more control.

Little did they know, they had secretly loved each other for 12 years.

kind of unbelievable that both MC and ML loved each other silently for 12 years (without any mutual confirmation) thinking that they were the only ones who had a crush on the other...

but it quickly became obvious that the ML is a tricky character himself and not one to be easily bullied.
