Knowing that she’ll die tomorrow from a female ghost’s attack, Zhu Yang goes binge-drinking the night before she dies.

The next day, she wakes up, mind still disoriented from the previous night’s drunkenness. Looking around, her house is a mess, and there is a female ghost hanging out of the TV, having drilled halfway out.

More importantly, the female ghost is dead!

Her pig friends then all accuse her of how cruelly and inhumanely she destroyed the female ghost to death.

Zhu Yang: I’m not! I’m not! Don’t talk nonsense! I am a weak woman like a delicate flower who only screams when she encounters something horrible.

In regards to this, the female ghost who thought she could kill this weak woman handily but was killed instead: I have something to say!

Because there are only 6 chapters as of yet, which I won't/haven't read. I instead will talk about how I found the manhua. Which I really, really liked. Cold, calculating, scheming. All describing the female MC. Much different than what I though how a typical chinese manhua would look like. Because this one is quite atypical.

MC is an interesting character. Truly a spoiled queen bee super bit*h type... Her social manipulations are something to see and her insults are... Wow. The sheer confidence with which she pulls off her diva attitude...

The romance is also quite unique. They used to be together, they get back together in, like, one chapter - no drawn out drama at all, no big reconciliation arc, just bam, miscommunication resolved, and then they start having frequent s*x scenes (fade to black) in an almost... Casual? Way. Compared with stories where having... more>> s*x happens at specific significant moments or whatever, here it'll just be, yeah, we're at a haunted hotel, what did you expect us to do? (followed by slapping a ghost that interrupted..) . Like, there's no drama or build up, it's extremely matter of fact that they're in lust with each other AND that MC is a huge "wife s*ave" and apparently perfectly content with that role.... In any case, the end result is that the romance is background scenery but very much not a main plot or major subplot (thus far).

The novel has quite a number of feminist subthreads running through it, most arcs include some subplot about a female being suppressed until MC helps her become confident and stand up for herself (partially via MC's sky-shattering levels of... The arrogant queen bee behavior that is her modus operandi).

Also pretty funny the running gag how MC transforms each horror game into a vacation retreat... <<less

I’m off to read the raw now but I left a review first since there’s only one so far.

The manhua is fantastic which isn’t something I find often from Chinese Novel to manhuas. There were no random plot skips, the flow was natural and gripping with creative comedy, the dissing didn’t use the same old curse words and actually made the character seem witty and smart not just the author telling you how smart she is.

THE most important part though is the art *muah* it was so beautiful, because the... more>> artist had such great skill you could feel the differences between HER and the others. Be it her scheming, playing innocent, cold or arrogant look they were all so charming, like she could walk all over me any day when she’s looking so fine.

I just.. Can’t.. Stop fangirling over her from the screen.

Did I mention how great the artist was? Because she’s great, the horror scenes and ghosts were gruesome scary and I had to not look too close in case I remembered them too well later.

So haha kinda turned into a manga review but I’ll add more after I’m done with the raws xD <<less

The story started off interesting enough with some horror tension thrown in. But soon after, it gets a bit boring as you discover that the FL is like a female alpha who solves everything with money, arrogance, and brains. There's not much tension in the story because she's too OP, and has a MarySue halo that everyone will fall in love with her the more of a dominatrix she is.

The FL is the stereotypical character everyone hates and wants to die because they look down on those who try to... more>> be better, look better, dress better or be competitive to the FL. She ridicules everyone for trying to rise to her level. And while she doesn't put down those who are way beneath her level, she still basically looks down on everyone but herself. She's so narcistic that she would have made out with a clone of herself if someone else hadn't stopped her.

Everyone falls in love with her, and she takes it as the way of the world. And although she treats her minions well, I think she treated the ML like a boy toy with a deep bank account. She basically ran away from the high school relationship simply because she got ousted that she had dated the ML on a bet. She never apologized or explained it to the ML. Also, the way they got back together was simply fast due to her taking financial and game benefits from the ML as a bribe 3 years later. I also don't like that she treats the ML with an hypocritical attitude of allowing a harem of beautiful male and female around her, yet gets in a tizzy if there are any ambiguous actions of rotten peach blossoms chasing after the ML.

She attracts a lot of hate from various characters in the game, mostly because of her arrogance and and domineering attitude. In addition, since she's so loved by everyone, including the game administrator, her starting point in the game is OP, so there's never any doubt or tension about the FL's life. The FL coasts through all the games without any fear in a domineering way. The first couple of games were interesting with this approach, but after a while, when there is only smooth sailing for the FL in every game, it gets kind of repetitive.

Overall, it was a good start, but got repetitive. I would have liked to have had more horror and tension in the story. But in the end, it came out to be more like a Quick Transmigration type with the FL acting in the same manor throughout each Game World. <<less

At first I was drawn to this story because of the art and then it hooked me when I saw how cool the MC was. Like how bayuken and nemone has said, she is very calculative, blunt, aggresive, sarcastic and arrogant queen. She found her long lost boyfriend on her second game and the bf is kinda op. Well, MC is op too but she is more like gradually becoming more and more overwhelming. I like how the author told us the game's little antics and how all of the games was kinda fight for her because she was so brilliant at completing the instances lol.

Oh my gosh this is exactly what ive been looking for. Game and survival elements with a system and rewards. Super unique plot and MC is the first Ive seen in terms of personality and like the setting is also something ive never seen before in these novels - its like mean girls and heathers in a ghost based survival game. So like deadman wonderland, Alice in borderland and all of those kind of game/ intelligence vibes. MC is calculative, realistic, blunt (even offensive) when she criticize someone, and has leadership qualities. A must read if you like 'Beware of the Vilainess', 'Shadow Queen', and 'Is It a Fortune or Is It a Woe?'

I love the MC in this story. She's rather b*tchy and not exactly a nice person but she doesn't seem like the type to just attack people for no reason and it comes off as funny rather than hateful. The people she talks down to are people who would also love to put her down so I don't feel bad when she does it to them but rather like she's just standing up for herself. She's not totally unfeeling either as she purposefully doesn't tell her brother about what's happening... more>> because she doesn't want him to be harmed. I love how strong she is mentally and how her friends start feeling like rather then her being tormented by the ghost, it's she who is tormenting the ghost. They even start to feel bad for it at one point. It's very amusing and I feel like I should read it again to enjoy those creative insults. I can't wait to see what happens next <<less

It started really well, the MC has a b*tchy personality which I liked but irl opinion I will dislike her... She's too op and her luck is pretty good but I think it became draggy in between which is my I'm not reading as anymore

Ps: the manhua is pretty good the art was awesome

What a splendid read ! I loved reading this.

The FL is da BOMB! I've read many novels with badass women but she is definitely in my top 3. Shes someone who will not be slighted in the least and I'm here for it.

The romance didn't take the first spot in the novel which is great. We watch as the FL grow little by little to reach the highest position in the world. However it's pretty obvious how much the couple love and trust each other.

Only thing is that some arcs... more>> were hard to understand using MTL so I could only skim through it.

But watching the FL reach success in each arc through unconventional means was exhilarating so definitely recommend this novel. <<less

I came over after reading a few chapters of the manhua. I was like this is some real good stuff, the novel must be excellent! And it was! The MC's character was super refreshing and her relationships with her loved ones as well as the various instances that she entered were all was amazing! The story concept as well as the plot were unique and super well written!

Unlike your typical cold cunning protagonists/ silly sweet protagonist, the MC is an arrogant, materialistic-facecon-somewhat-shallow protagonist. She is the Regina (from mean girls)... more>> of Reginas, the ultimate Queen Bee. She does things super unconventionally which resulted in many hilarious moments and her chemistry with other characters are all superb!

The only criticism that I have is that it got a wee bit draggy. Like the she entered the instances with no specific purpose (unless you count getting stronger as one) and some instances that she entered were redundant soooo there's that. Oh and the final arc (the ultimate cross serve event) was a little s*upid. Major let down there.

Overall is still a very very good read. Highly recommended to those who like unlimited flow/quick transmigration-ish trope, OP protagonist/couple and good sibling relationship. <<less

Just to be clear MC doesn't act like she is a weakling like the summary implied. MC is such a badass, confident queen bee! You might think she is bit*hy and you might not like her irl, however she has her own bottom line so I feel like no matter what you'd respect her.

Her line of thinking is very unique, her insults are very witty and she stood up for herself, I just love, love her!! The romance is not dramatic and that's OK, they love each other and they... more>> lust for each other as well and that's more than enough.

Really recommend reading the manhua as well, they're gorgeous. 5 out of 5! <<less

I really enjoyed the comics that are currently out and I've MTLed up to ch 40.

In reality, I would really hate the MC. She's an arrogant, queen bee, kinda narcissistic b*tch that solves most problems with money. However, she does make an interesting and unique (in terms of current state of affairs in fiction) point of view in how she handles what she's facing.

Because of her attitude and success, horror elements aren't scary and everything flows in her favor. Though she draws hate everywhere she goes, she also draws a... more>> lot of admiration. A lot of the stories/games in the novel utilize the ab*se of women, and Zhu Yang uses her money, harsh words and does things by example to build these worn women up.

MTL is somewhat painless to read, 65% comprehensible. Will probably have to read the comic for a more coherent understanding. <<less
